Bethel Township

Fraud – On June 9, 2020 at approximately 9:30 a.m., PSP Jonestown troopers responded to the 900 block of Frystown Rd. for the report of receiving fraudulent unemployment checks in the United States Postal Service. The Victim was a 53 year old Myerstown man.

Vehicle Accident – On June 13, 2020 at 4:46 a.m., this single-vehicle crash occurred as Unit 1, a 2018 Hyundai Kona, driven by Operator 1, a 38 year old Lebanon woman, was traveling eastbound on SR 22, just west of South Center St. Unit 1 struck a deer after it entered the roadway from the left-hand side. Operator 1 was not injured as a result of this crash and Unit 1 was towed from the scene.

Harassment – On June 14, 2020 at 6:44 p.m., this crime occurred when the Victim, a 27 year old Lebanon woman, and the Suspect, a 34 year old Lebanon man, got into a verbal altercation outside of their residence on Elk Dr. The altercation escalated when the Suspect pushed the Victim away from him. The Victim then got into her car and the Suspect returned inside their residence. Harassment charges were filed through MDJ 52-3-03.

East Hanover Township

Theft – On June 12, 2020 at 5:15 p.m., this incident occurred as unknown individual(s) did cut the catalytic converter off of the Victim’s 2001 gold Ford Taurus on Harrison School Rd. The Victim was a 57 year old Newport, RI man.

Heidelberg Township

Vehicle Accident – On June 12, 2020 at 3:10 a.m., this single motor vehicle crash occurred on Reistville Rd. This crash occurred as Operator 1 struck a fallen tree while traveling east on Reistville Rd. Unit 1, a 2016 Kia Soul, then came to final rest facing east at the fallen tree on Reistville Rd. Operator 1 was not injured as a result of the crash and Unit 1 was able to be driven from the scene.

Vehicle Accident – On June 11, 2020 at 5:45 a.m., this crash occurred as Unit 1, a 2015 General MTRS Corp Savana, driven by Operator 1, a 40 year old Myerstown man, was traveling south on SR 501, just north of Sinclair Rd. Unit 1 was traveling south when a deer ran across the road from left to right. Operator 1 applied his brakes but was unable to miss colliding with the deer. No injuries were reported.

Jackson Township

Runaway – On June 13, 2020 at approximately 1:47 a.m., a juvenile was reported missing from the 20 block of Firefly Dr. The juvenile drove the parents’ vehicle, a 2008 Ford Taurus, at approximately 12:00 a.m. to an unknown location. The juvenile returned safely to their residence at approximately 6:00 a.m. The investigation is currently ongoing.

Overdose – On June 12, 2020 at 4:27 p.m., PSP Jonestown troopers responded to Springhouse Dr. for a reported cardiac arrest. Investigation revealed the individual involved suffered from an apparent drug overdose.

Lebanon City

Fireworks Violation – A 36 year old Lebanon resident has been cited for a Fireworks violation on May 25, 2020 at 9:15 p.m. on the 600 block of North 8th St.

Curfew, Disorderly Conduct – A 17 year old female from Lebanon has been cited for Curfew and Disorderly Conduct on May 24, 2020 at 3:47 a.m. at North 7th St. and Mary St. A 17 year old male from North Cornwall Twp. was also cited for Curfew during this contact.

Drug Possession – A 43 year old with no permanent address has been cited for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia on May 24, 2020 at 9:49 p.m. on the 100 block of South 7th St.

Disorderly Conduct – A 22 year old Lebanon resident and a 26 year old Lebanon resident have been cited for Disorderly Conduct after being involved in a mutual fight on June 9, 2020 at 8:55 p.m. on the 100 block of Lehman St.

Drug Possession – A 29 year old Jonestown resident has been cited for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia after contact with police on June 10, 2020 at 8:55 a.m. on the 400 block of South Lincoln Ave.

Public Drunkenness – A 32 year old Newmanstown resident has been cited for Public Drunkenness on June 1, 2020 at 9:08 a.m. on the 800 block of Locust St.

Public Drunkenness – A 23 year old Lykens resident has been cited for Public Drunkenness and Purchase, Consumption, Possession, or Transportation of Liquor or Malt or Brewed Beverages (open container) on June 1, 2020 at 4:09 p.m. at 8th St. and Walnut St.

False Identification To Law Enforcement Officer – Alexis Nunez-Rios, a 30 year old Lebanon resident, has been charged with False Identification to Law Enforcement Officer, Driving While Operating Privilege is Suspended or Revoked and Carrying or Exhibiting Driver’s License after a traffic stop on May 30, 2020 at 10:33 p.m. on the 900 block of Walnut St. Nunez is accused of providing a name other than his own and could not provide a driver’s license. It was determined Nunez had a warrant for his arrest for retail theft in North Londonderry Twp. He was arraigned before MDJ Carl Garver and issued bail of $10,000 unsecured however; he was incarcerated at LCCF on the outstanding Bench Warrant.

PFA Violation – Sasha Ramirez, a 30 year old Lebanon resident, has been charged with a Protection From Abuse Order violation on June 5, 2020 at 10:27 a.m. on the 400 block of North 5th St. Ramirez is accused of having personal and telephonic contact with the 42 year old Victim of the PFA, he was not injured as a result of the contact with Ramirez. Ramirez was arraigned and released on own recognizance.

Aggravated Assault, Simple Assault – Ashley Hitz, a 30 year old Lebanon resident, has been charged with Aggravated Assault and Simple Assault (domestic violence related) after an incident on May 31, 2020 at 3:06 a.m. on the 100 block of Cumberland St. Hitz is accused of cutting the 39 year old Victim on his leg and wrist after a verbal argument became physical. The injuries required the Victim to obtain medical treatment. Hitz was apprehended and transported to LCCB. She was arraigned before MDJ Carl Garver and incarcerated at LCCF in lieu of $50,000 bail.

Drug Possession – A charge of Possession of a Small Amount of Marijuana has been filed against a 22 year old Lebanon resident after contact with police on June 3, 2020 at 3:30 p.m. on the 500 block of East Lehman St.

Retail Theft, Drug Possession – David Thomas, a 35 year old Lebanon resident, has been charged with Retail Theft and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia after an incident on June 6, 2020 at 9:37 a.m. at 950 Church St. Thomas is accused of taking merchandise from the store in the amount of $49.90. When apprehended, police accuse Thomas of possessing drug paraphernalia. Thomas was transported to LCCB and arraigned before MDJ John Ditzler. Thomas was incarcerated at LCCF in lieu of $1,500 bail and on a warrant out of the Lebanon City Police Department.

Aggravated Assault – A charge of Aggravated Assault has been filed against James Weidle, a 43 year old Hatboro resident, after an incident on May 26, 2020 at 6:05 a.m. on the 200 block of South 4th St. Weidle is accused of punching the arm of a nurse in the performance of her duties. The punching did cause injury to the Victim’s arm, requiring medical care. Weidle was transferred to another medical facility for the continuation of his care unrelated to this incident.

Simple Assault – Angel Madera, a 31 year old Lebanon resident, has been charged with Simple Assault (domestic violence related) after an incident on June 7, 2020 at 3:11 p.m. on the 500 block of Spruce St. Madera is accused of grabbing the 39 year old Victim by her neck and slamming her head into a wood door, causing injury to the Victim. Madera fled from the scene but was apprehended the following day on June 8, 2020. He was transported to LCCB and arraigned before MDJ Kim Wolfe. He was incarcerated at LCCF in lieu of $25,000 bail. Additional charges for Possession of a Controlled Substance are pending.

Simple Assault – Marc Garloff, a 26 year old North Cornwall resident, has been charged with Simple Assault (domestic violence related) after an incident on June 9, 2020 at 12:00 p.m. on the 1200 block of Walnut St. Garloff is accused of pushing the 21 year old Victim to the ground then punching several times causing injury to her face. He was apprehended and transported to LCCB. Garloff was arraigned before MDJ Kim Wolfe and incarcerated at LCCF in lieu of $10,000 bail.

Drug Possession – Julio Corchado-Illas, a 46 year old Lebanon resident, has been cited for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia on May 16, 2020 at 9:15 a.m. on the 700 block of the Quittapahilla Path.

Harassment – A 31 year old Lebanon resident has been cited for Harassment after an incident on May 25, 2020 at 8:53 p.m. on the 300 block of North 12th St.

Disorderly Conduct – A 56 year old Lebanon resident has been cited for Disorderly Conduct on June 1, 2020 at 3:05 p.n. at the Lebanon Village apartments.

False Identification To Law Enforcement Officer – Charges of False Identification to Law Enforcement Officer, Driving While Operator Privilege is Suspended or Revoked, and Maximum Speed Limits have been filed against Genesis Vazquez-Hernandez, a 27 year old Hershey resident, after a traffic stop on May 31, 2020 at 7:22 p.m. on the 1,400 block of Cumberland St. Vazquez is accused of providing the name of someone other than herself. Vazquez was found to have a warrant for her arrest through the Pennsylvania State Police. She was transported to LCCB and custody transferred to the Pennsylvania State Police.

Access Device Fraud, Theft, Drug Possession – Charges of Access Device Fraud, Theft, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia have been filed against Victor Rodriguez Martinez, a 32 year old with no permanent address, after contact with police on June 11, 2020 at 6:22 p.m. on the 400 block of New St. Rodriguez is accused of possessing a debit card that did not belong to him. He was transported to LCCB and arraigned before MDJ Kim Wolfe. He was incarcerated at LCCF in lieu of $10,000 bail.

Myerstown Borough

Identity Theft – On June 5, 2020 at 12:01 a.m., this incident occurred as the Victim, a 41 year old Myerstown woman, messaged an unknown individual about a rental property on the Facebook Market. The Victim provided the unknown individual with her personal information.

North Londonderry Township

Vehicle Accident – On June 13, 2020 at 2:38 p.m., Unit 1, driven by Operator 1, a 64 year old Ono woman, struck Unit 2, driven by Operator 2, a 21 year old Palmyra woman, as Operator 2 failed to stop for the posted stop sign on East Elm St. Both Unit 1 and Unit 2 were damaged and unable to be driven from the scene. Operator 1 was transported by Life Lion EMS to the hospital for evaluation. Operator 2 was cited for the Stop Sign violation.

South Londonderry Township

Vehicle Accident – On June 8, 2020 at 5:10 p.m., Operator 1, a 24 year old Palmyra man, was driving south on Lawn Rd. when he went to change the radio channel and swerved off the roadway, striking a telephone pole, Penn Dot sign, and a tree. Operator 1 sustained no injuries as a result of the crash. Operator 1 was cited for Driving on Roadways Laned for Traffic.

Swatara Township

Theft – On June 8, 2020 at 9:49 a.m., PSP Jonestown were dispatched to the Complainant’s residence on the 300 block of Mountville Dr. for a possible theft. The Complainant, a 65 year old Lebanon man, related that he believed his tools were taken from his barn between Dec. 2019 and Feb. 2020. The tools included a Craftsman belt sander, a three-foot bull float, and a harbor freight cutting torch. State Police are investigating.

Vehicle Accident – On June 10, 2020 at 10:00 p.m., this hit and run crash occurred at the address of 4 Walnut St. This crash occurred as Unit 1 was backing up on Walnut St. West. While backing up, Unit 1 struck the retention wall located at 4 Walnut St. West. Unit 1 fled the scene and was unable to be located.

Harassment – On June 14, 2020 at approximately 10:32 p.m., PSP Jonestown received a call about a verbal domestic that was taking place on the 1,000 block of Quarry Rd. During the investigation, it was determined the Suspect spat on the Victim, a 26 year old Lebanon man. Charges of Harassment are to be filed within MDJ 52-3-03. PSP is investigating.

Union Township

Vehicle Accident – On June 12, 2020 at 5:07 a.m., this single motor vehicle crash occurred on I 81 North near mile marker 88.5. This crash occurred as Operator 1 struck a deer that was crossing I 81. Operator 1 was traveling north on I 81. Operator 1 then drove Unit 1, a 2019 Kia Optima, to the Speedway gas station, located at 1 Lickdale Rd. Operator 1 was not injured as a result of the crash and Unit 1 was able to be driven from the scene.

Vehicle Accident – On June 14, 2020 at 1:20 a.m., this single vehicle crash occurred as Operator 1 was traveling eastbound on I 78. Unit 1, a 2015 Jeep Patriot, struck a deer that entered the roadway from the righthand side of I 78 near mile marker .7. Operator 1 drove Unit 1 from the location of the crash. Although Unit 1 was driveable, Operator 1 requested that Unit 1 be towed from the scene. AAA was contacted and Glenns Towing Company was advised. Operator 1 and the Passenger were not injured as a result of this crash.
