Bethel Township

Criminal Mischief $1,000+ – On June 26, 2020 at 1:57 p.m., PSP Jonestown received a complaint of damaged property from Bridgestone tire, located at 2869 SR 22 in Bethel Twp. PSP is investigating.

Confinement Of Dog Charge – On June 26, 2020 at 2:28 p.m., this crime occurred as the juvenile Victim, a 4 year old Fredericksburg male, walked to the edge of the Arrestee’s property on Camp Strause Rd. The Arrestee’s dog ran up to the juvenile Victim and bit him upon the left thigh. The Arrestee, a 40 year old Fredericksburg woman, then got the dog away from the juvenile Victim. A Confinement of Dog charge was filed through MDJ Wolfe.

East Hanover Township

Vehicle Accident – On June 24, 2020 at 4:54 p.m., this two vehicle, reportable crash occurred on I 81 North in the area of mile marker 84.6. Unit 1, a 2005 Pontiac Vibe, driven by Operator 1, a 19 year old Holtwood man, was traveling too directly behind Unit 2, when Operator 1 fell asleep at the wheel and rear-ended Unit 2, a 2019 tractor trailer, driven by Operator 2, a 22 year old Corona, NY man. Both Units were able to pull off of the roadway and did not block any lanes. Operator 1 sustained minor injuries and denied EMS medical treatment. Unit 1 sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene. Operator 2 and Unit 2 did not sustain any injuries or damage. Operator 1 was cited for Careless Driving. Assisted at the scene by Perini’s Towing.

Vehicle Accident – On June 26, 2020 at 10:25 p.m., this crash occurred on I 81 North at mile marker 86. This crash occurred as Operator 1, Christopher Bradley, a 45 year old Harrisburg man, was traveling north on I 81 in Unit 1, a 2002 Buick Century. Unit 1 was observed to have been swerving on the roadway by Witness 1, prior to the crash, before crossing both northbound travel lanes and striking the concrete center median barrier. Unit 1 sustained heavy and disabling front end damage at its 12 o’clock position and was towed from the scene by Motter’s Towing. Operator 1 was determined to be under the influence of illegal drugs and placed under arrest for suspicion of DUI. Operator 1 sustained minor injuries as a result of the crash.

Heidelberg Township

Vehicle Accident – On June 24, 2020 at 8:58 a.m., this two vehicle crash occurred on SR 897 near the intersection of Hopeland Rd. This crash occurred as Unit 1, a 2019 Chevrolet Trax, driven by Operator 1, a 39 year old Reinholds woman, was traveling west on SR 897, when Operator 1 did not see Unit 2. Unit 2, a 2010 Dodge Ram 3500 (pickup), driven by Operator 2, a 32 year old Dillsburg man, was legally parked facing west, waiting on township workers. Unit 1 subsequently struck the trailer of Unit 2. Neither Operators were injured as a result of this crash. Operator 1 was cited for Following Too Closely.

Millcreek Township

Criminal Mischief Under $1,000 – On June 26, 2020 at approximately 11:55 a.m., a Criminal Mischief incident was reported to have occurred on the 700 block of SR 419. Sometime between June 25, 2020 at 10:00 p.m. and June 26, 2020 at approximately 7:00 a.m., Actor(s) drove an unknown make, model vehicle, approached from Reistville Rd., into a cornfield, and exited on SR 419. This caused damage to the growing crop upon the field. The Actor(s) then fled the scene in an unknown make, model vehicle.

North Londonderry Township

Retail Theft, Criminal Conspiracy, Driving Without A License – Hector Baez-Crespo, a 21 year old Lebanon resident, and Loreany Santana-Rivera, a 25 year old Lebanon resident, were charged with Retail Theft and Criminal Conspiracy after an incident on June 1, 2020 at 2:21 p.m., where they took merchandise valued at approximately $1,500. Baez-Crespo was also cited for Driving Without a License. Baez-Crespo was also charged with Retail Theft after an incident on May 24, 2020 at 1:27 p.m., where he failed to pay for items totaling $527.

Bush, Grass, And Weeds Ordinance – On June 1, 2020 at 12:41 p.m., a 67 year old Annville resident was cited with a Township Ordinance Violation after permitting the grass and weeds on his property, located on the 800 block of South Grant St., to grow in excess of 10 inches.

Burning-Outdoor Ordinance – On June 25, 2020 at 11:30 a.m., a 52 year old Palmyra resident was cited with a Township Ordinance Violation after permitting the burning of furniture on his property, located on the 400 block of South Lingle Ave.

Swatara Township

Drug Possession – The Arrestee, Artese Harris, a 26 year old Newark, NJ man, was stopped for a traffic violation at 26 I 78 West. During the stop, drugs and drug paraphernalia were located inside the Arrestee’s vehicle, a 2001 Chevrolet Suburban. Charges will be filed against the Arrestee for Drug Possession and Drug Paraphernalia at District Justice Kim Wolfe’s office.

Union Township

Theft – On June 27, 2020 at 9:57 a.m., a neighbor of the 0 block of Lion Ln. witnessed two unknown individuals steal property of the front lawn of the residence. The stolen property consisted of a children’s blue slide and a yellow toy house. Witnesses related that the two unknown individuals were a male and female couple, W/N-M and W/N-F, driving a white Toyota Tacoma with a bike rack on the rear tailgate. At the time of the crime, the community of Kings Plantation, where the residence is located, was having a community yard sale event.
