The 2020 Tour de Lebanon Valley will take place on Saturday, July 18 beginning at 6 a.m.

All the routes start at the Lebanon Valley Expo Center and are within the Lebanon Valley. Cyclists can choose to ride a metric century (62 miles), a rolling mid-distance (26 or 32 miles), or a family route (6 miles).

Cyclists will have staggered start times from the Expo Center. Bike courses will be marked and navigate through Lebanon County to Mount Gretna, Palmyra, Jonestown, as well as Schaefferstown and the Middle Creek Wildlife Management Area.

Water stations will be located on Killinger Road in Annville, Lancaster Street in Jonestown, Albright Road in Myerstown, and Hopeland Road in Schaefferstown.

Organizers ask that motorists use caution in these areas and be alert for increased cycling traffic between 6 a.m. and 2 p.m. on event day.

Ride-day registrations will be accepted – $55 for the metric century and mid-distance routes, and $5 each for the family ride.

Organizers have taken a number of additional COVID precautions this year, including instituting mask requirements for registration areas and rest facilities, only distributing sealed food and beverage products, and maintaining social distancing between riders with rolling starts and group size limits.

Proceeds from the event will be donated to the bicycle playground project at Coleman Memorial Park. The bicycle playground project’s purpose is to teach today’s youth the enjoyment of cycling and to educate the general public on proper bike etiquette and safety.
