At least some of the 117,200 SF former “Kmart” space at 1745 Quentin Road will be put to use this fall as a Spirit Halloween store.

The company would not confirm an anticipated open date, but said that once the store does open it will remain open until November 2. An opening date is expected to be posted to the company’s store locator website once available.

No signs of merchandise or interior buildout were visible when LebTown visited late last week.

The company is hiring for several positions to staff the location, ranging from Store Manager to Sales Associate. Jobs can be found by creating a profile at this careers portal website.

The megastore at 1745 Quentin Road briefly appeared on the open market late last year, but was delisted after a few months and today remains in the hands of Seritage, the holding company formed with the real estate assets of Kmart and Sears.

Seritage still has the property listed for lease on its website and it’s likely that Spirit Halloween will only be occupying a portion of the overall space.
