According to BizNewsPA, Lancaster-based Fulton Financial will close nearly 10% of its branches by early next year, including one in North Lebanon Township.

The report indicates that the Lebanon East branch, located at 1333 E. Lehman Street near the Lebanon Walmart, will close. The property was bought by Fulton Financial in 1993 for $300,000.

According to the report, Fulton will help employees apply for other positions within the company.

The next closest Fulton branch is the Downtown Lebanon location at 555 Willow Street, the former home to Lebanon Valley Farmers Bank. Fulton merged with Lebanon Valley Farmers Bank in 2007.
