Bethel Township
Assault – On Sept. 27, 2020 at 7:09 p.m., troopers responded to Valley Rd. to conduct a welfare check. Upon arrival, troopers learned the Arrestee assaulted a female earlier in the day, throwing an object at her. The Arrestee then became involved in a physical altercation with another male, shoving and punching him numerous times. While on scene, the Arrestee made numerous threats to the male, both on the phone and in person. While detained, the Arrestee attempted to flee from troopers on foot. The Arrestee was subsequently taken into custody. The Arrestee was Ian Beard, a 20 year old Jonestown man. The Victims were a 17 year old Jonestown female and a 60 year old Jonestown man. Charges were filed.
City of Lebanon
Disorderly Conduct – A 24 year old Lancaster man has been cited for Disorderly Conduct on Oct. 10 at 3:42 a.m. on the 200 block of S. 4th Street.
Criminal Mischief – A 17 year old female from Lebanon has been cited for Criminal Mischief on Sept. 11 at 1:26 p.m. on the 800 block of Locust Street. The juvenile is accused of damaging the victim’s screen door causing a loss of $225.00.
Disorderly Conduct – A 24 year old Lebanon man has been cited for Disorderly Conduct (loud music from a vehicle) on Oct. 11 at 11:20 a.m. on the 200 block of S. 12th Street.
Harassment – A 46 year old Easton man has been cited for Harassment after an incident on Oct. 13 at 10:40 p.m. on the 500 block of N. 10th Street.
DUI – Charges of Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and Careless Driving have been filed against Patrick Wersinger a 28 year old Lebanon resident a traffic stop on August 30 at 1:45 a.m. on the 800 block of Chestnut Street. Police allege his BAC was .188% at the time of the stop.
Theft – Charges of Theft and Receiving Stolen Property have been filed against Beth Winters a 35 year old Lebanon resident after investigation into a theft of a delivered package on Sept. 10 at 4:17 p.m. on the 800 block of Chestnut Street.
Fleeing or Eluding – Charges of Fleeing or Attempting to Elude an Officer, Registration and Certificate of Title Required, Required Financial Responsibility, Duties at Stop Signs (2 cts), Steady Red Signal, Obedience to Traffic Control Devices, Duties at Stop Signs and Careless Driving have been filed against 18 year old Jomar Lebron-Brito a North Cornwall resident after failing to yield to a police officer attempting to conduct a traffic stop while Lebron drove a small motorcycle on the streets. Lebron eventually stopped the motorcycle and was identified by police. The motorcycle was impounded and charges filed.
DUI – Charges of Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol, Driving While the Operators License is Suspended or Revoked and One-way Roadways have been filed against Steve Trout a 64 year old Lebanon resident after a traffic stop on Sept. 19 at 10:38 p.m. at 8th and Cumberland Streets. Police accuse Trout of having a BAC of .203% at the time of the stop.
Theft – A charge of Theft has been filed against Malcolm Smith a 28 year old Lebanon resident after being accused of taking a TV from the victim and selling it to a local business on Oct. 7 at 4:10 p.m. on the 00 block of N. 9th Street.
Disorderly Conduct – A charge of Disorderly Conduct has been filed against a 65 year old Lebanon man after an incident on Oct. 10 at 8:15 a.m. on the 700 block of Locust Street.
Escape – A charge of Escape has been filed against Terance Brent a 35 year old North Lebanon resident on Oct. 8 at 10:20 a.m. on the 100 block of N. Gannon Street. Brent is accused of fleeing from Lebanon County Probation Officers after being attempting to be detained as a absconder from PA State Parole. He was apprehended by probation officers and transported to LCCB by police. He was incarcerated at LCCF on the detainer from Parole.
Jonestown Borough
Theft – On June 29, 2020 at 4:12 p.m., PSP Jonestown troopers responded to the 100 block of East Market St. in Jonestown Boro. for a reported theft. The Victim was Zion Lutheran Church in Jonestown Boro. Troopers are investigating.
North Lebanon Township
Simple Assault – Daniel Finefrock, a 40 year old Lebanon resident, was charged with Simple Assault after an incident that occurred on Oct. 10, 2020 in the 800 block of Miller St.
Drug Possession – Deryk Hunsicker, a 21 year old Lebanon resident, was charged with Possession of Marijuana after an incident that occurred on Oct. 5, 2020 in the 1,500 block of Sandhill Rd.
Theft Of A Motor Vehicle, Escape, Simple Assault, Resisting Arrest – Luis Cruz-Rodriguez, a 25 year old with no permanent address, was charged with Robbery of a Motor Vehicle, Theft, Escape, Simple Assault, Resisting Arrest, and Harassment after an incident that occurred on Oct. 7, 2020 in the 300 block of Weavertown Rd.
North Londonderry Township
Retail Theft – On Sept. 12, 2020 at 12:48 p.m., a 29 year old Lebanon woman was charged with two counts of Retail Theft stemming from two separate incidents on Aug. 10, 2020 and Sept. 12, 2020. Del-Valle was observed under-ringing numerous items while utilizing the self check-out register at Wal-Mart, located at 100 North Londonderry Sq. Total value stolen from Aug. 10, 2020 was $55.34 and from Sept. 12, 2020 was $162.50. Charges were filed with DJ Garver’s Office.
Simple Assault – On Oct. 2, 2020, the North Londonderry Twp. police charged a 14 year old female with Simple Assault after punching a 14 year old male in the back of the head at the Palmyra High School, located at 1125 Park Dr. in Palmyra.
Vehicle Accident – On Oct. 12, 2020 at 9:24 a.m., police responded to a one-vehicle accident on the 900 block of Hoffer Rd. Operator 1, a 20 year old Palmyra woman reported that, after initiating a righthand curve, she lost control of her vehicle, striking a brick pillar. Unit 1 sustained major front and rear end damage. Unit 1 was towed by Doug’s Towing. Operator 1 was transported to Hershey Medical Center. Operator 1 is to be cited with Safe Speeds.
Retail Theft – On Sept. 5, 2020 at 11:20 a.m., this crime occurred at Wal-Mart, located at 100 North Londonderry Sq. in Palmyra. Upon completion of the investigation, a 28 year old Lebanon man was charged with Retail Theft after he failed to pay for items at the self-checkout. Highlands took items valued at $85.92.
Richland Borough
Scattering Rubbish – On Oct. 10, 2020 at 11:23 a.m., PSP Jonestown responded to Chestnut St. for a report of two small baggies found in the yard of the Complainant/Victim. Investigation revealed that the two baggies had dog feces inside of them and were located next to the Trump political sign in the Victim’s yard. Further investigation revealed that two other properties had identical dog waste baggies with dog feces inside of them located next to their Trump political sign(s). All of the known Victims’ residences were located inside of Richland Boro. The Victims were a 49 year old Richland man, a 48 year old Richland woman, a 28 year old Richland woman, and a 54 year old Richland man. Anyone with information on this incident should contact PSP Jonestown. PSP is investigating.
Open Lewdness – On Sept. 29, 2020 at 9:30 a.m., PSP Jonestown troopers responded to the 00 block of Chestnut St. in Richland Boro. for a report of open lewdness. The Victim was a 32 year old Richland woman. The Arrestee was a 62 year old Richland man. Troopers are investigating.
South Londonderry Township
Vehicle Accident – On Oct. 5, 2020 at 12:12 p.m., the South Londonderry Twp. Police Department was dispatched to the 300 block of Schoolhouse Rd. for a single-vehicle accident. Unit 1, a maroon Mercury Sedan, driven by Operator 1, a 69 year old Palmyra man had crossed the solid double yellow lines, struck a building on the 300 block of Schoolhouse Rd. and then gotten stuck down an embankment. Operator 1 advised that he had fallen asleep while driving. Operator 1 was transported by EMS to the hospital for treatment. Operator 1 was cited for Careless Driving and Roadways Laned for Traffic.
Vehicle Accident – On Sept. 26, 2020 at 5:21 p.m., this two-vehicle crash occurred on the 500 block of Mount Gretna Rd. Operator 1, a 47 year old Philadelphia man was cited after a crash where he had been traveling east on Mount Gretna Rd. Operator 1 lost control on a wet roadway in a curve and traveled into the oncoming lane, striking Unit 2, driven by Operator 2, Rocco Troiano, a 42 year old Manheim resident. There were minor injuries. Both vehicles were towed from the scene. Operator 1 was cited for Driving on Roadways Laned for Traffic. The Lawn Fire Company assisted at the scene.
Swatara Township
Retail Theft – This crime occurred on May 13, 2020 at approximately 8:49 p.m., at Gadel Ln. and Old Route 22, when the Arrestee concealed four Gatorade bars valued at $2.19 each inside his front right pocket. The Arrestee passed all points of sale without paying for the items thereof. The Arrestee was positively identified on Sept. 29, 2020. The Arrestee was a 36 year old Fredericksburg man. The Victim was BG’s Value Market in Jonestown. The stolen items included a Gatorade Protein Bar valued at $2.19. Charges were filed through MDJ Wolfe.
Retail Theft – This crime occurred on May 16, 2020 at approximately 6:14 p.m., on the 00 block of Old Route 22, when the Arrestee ate a piece of Baby Bell cheese valued at $3.99. The Arrestee passed all points of sale without paying for the item thereof. The Arrestee was positively identified on Oct. 8, 2020. The Arrestee was a 36 year old Fredericksburg man. The Victim was BG’s Value Market in Jonestown. The stolen items included Baby Bell cheese valued at $3.99. Charges were filed through MDJ Wolfe.

The Arrestee passed all points of sale failing to pay for the items thereof. The Arrestee was positively identified on Oct. 8, 2020. The Arrestee was a 36 year old Fredericksburg man. The Victim was BG’s Value Market in Jonestown. The stolen items included a Candy Bar valued at $1.89. Charges were filed through MDJ Wolfe.
Residential Burglary – On Sept. 19, 2020 at 7:18 p.m., troopers responded to Grace Ave. for a report of a burglary. Through investigation, it was discovered unknown Actor(s) entered the residence through an unlocked door between 7:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. The unknown Actor(s) proceeded to remove a Samsung Galaxy cellphone and miscellaneous keys. The unknown Actor(s) fled in an unknown direction by an unknown means of travel. The Victim was a 37 year old Lebanon man.The stolen property included a Samsung Galaxy With Black Kickstand Case valued at $250.00 and Miscellaneous Keys valued at $50.00. Investigation is ongoing.
Harassment – PSP Jonestown is investigating a possible harassment by physical contact that occurred on Jan. 9, 2019 at 4:00 p.m. on the 1,800 block of Quarry Rd. The Victim is a 15 year old Palmyra female.
Union Township
Drug Possession – On Sept. 19, 2020 at 5:30 p.m., troopers conducted a traffic stop on SR 72 and Jonestown Rd. for a speeding violation. Upon speaking with the Operator, an odor of marijuana was detected emanating from the vehicle. A probable cause search was conducted, yielding marijuana and related paraphernalia. The Arrestee was a 23 year old Lebanon man. The vehicle involved was a 2016 Jeep Cherokee. Charges were filed.
Vehicle Accident – On Oct. 9, 2020 at 8:39 p.m., this crash occurred as Unit 1, driven by Operator 1, was traveling south on I 81 on the right-hand shoulder of the roadway. Unit 1 attempted to merge into the right travel lane when Unit 1 struck Unit 2, a 2006 GMC Acadia, driven by Operator 2, a 49 year old Glen Allen, VA man, accompanied by Passenger 1, a 45 year old Glen Allen, VA woman, Passenger 2, a 10 year old Glen Allen, VA female, Passenger 3, a 16 year old Glen Allen, VA female, and Passenger 4, a 15 year old Glen Allen, VA female, in its passenger’s side rear door. Unit 2 sustained minor damage to its rear passenger door as a result. Unit 2 exited the right side of the roadway and parked on the right-hand shoulder of the roadway. Unit 1 continued traveling south on I 81. Unit 2 remained on scene. No registration or other identifying information was obtained for Unit 1. It is unknown whether Operator 1 sustained any injuries as a result of this crash. Operator 2 and Passenger 1, Passenger 2, Passenger 3, and Passenger 4 were not injured as a result of this crash.
