City of Lebanon police have identified the victim of Friday’s early morning shooting homicide as 38 year old Jonathan Valcourt-Irizarry, and charged 23 year old Lebanon resident Andres Rodriguez with the murder.

Rodriguez is charged with Criminal Homicide, Aggravated Assault, Recklessly Endangering Another Person, and Possession of a Prohibited Firearm in a criminal complaint filed on Nov. 27.

He was still at large at publication time, and a warrant has been issued for his arrest.

Police responded to a call to 710 Cumberland Street at 1:57 a.m. on Friday morning, Nov. 27. They found Valcourt-Irizarry in an adjacent alley, suffering from at least one gunshot. He died in hospital.

According to a Lebanon Police Department news release, a Thanksgiving night party was held inside 710 Cumberland Street, and a fight spilled into the alley, where Valcourt-Irizarry was shot.

Rodriguez is described as a White/Hispanic/Male, about 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighing about 250 pounds, with dark brown eyes and dark brown hair.

According to Chief of Police Todd Breiner, the investigation is still underway.
