City of Lebanon

Harassment – A 33 year old Lebanon man has been cited for Harassment after an incident on Dec. 27, 2020 at 11:59 p.m. on the 400 block of East Chestnut St.

Simple Assault, Terroristic Threats, Disorderly Conduct – Jasmine Corbett, a 27 year old Lebanon resident, has been charged with Simple Assault (domestic violence related), Terroristic Threats, Disorderly Conduct, and Reckless Driving after an incident on Dec. 28, 2020 at 9:43 p.m. at 10th St. and Lehman St. Corbett is accused of using her vehicle to strike the vehicle being driven by the 32 year old Victim, causing minor damage to both vehicles. The male Victim was not injured as a result of the incident. Corbett was apprehended and transported to LCCB. She was arraigned before MDJ John Ditzler and incarcerated at LCCF in lieu of $2,500 bail.

Harassment – A 28 year old North Lebanon man has been cited for Harassment on Dec. 22, 2020 at 11:15 p.m. on the 500 block of North 9th St.

Public Drunkenness – A 28 year old North Lebanon man has been cited for Public Drunkenness on Dec. 29, 2020 at 10:30 p.m. on the 400 block of Arnold St.

DUI – A charge of Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol has been filed against Richard Royer, a 54 year old Lebanon resident, after he was involved in a traffic accident at North 12th St. and Maple St. on Nov. 20, 2020 at 6:45 p.m. According to witnesses, the driver of another vehicle proceeded into the intersection through a steady red signal and was struck by Royer’s vehicle. The driver of the car proceeding through the red traffic signal was cited for a traffic violation. Police allege Royer’s BAC was .155% at the time of the accident.

Drug Possession – On Jan. 1, 2021 at 12:39 a.m., this incident occurred on West Maple St. In the commission of this crime, the Arrestee was in possession of a controlled substance. The Arrestee was a 21 year old Lebanon woman. The vehicles involved include a 2007 Ford Fusion.

Cornwall Borough

Simple Assault – Glenn Slater, a 74 year old Cornwall resident, has been charged with Simple Assault (domestic violence related) after an incident on Dec. 21, 2020 at 9:36 a.m. After a verbal argument, Slater is accused of kicking a 71 year old Victim, causing injury to her leg. He was transported to LCCB.

East Hanover Township

Harassment – On Jan. 1, 2021 at 11:47 p.m., this incident occurred on Racehorse Dr. The Arrestee was a 49 year old Jonestown woman. The Victim was a 77 year old Jonestown man.

Jackson Township

Vehicle Accident – On Dec. 31, 2020 at 11:26 a.m., this hit-and-run crash occurred on SR 501 near its intersection with King St. in Jackson Twp. This crash occurred as Unit 2, a 2017 Chevrolet Express, driven by Operator 2, a 54 year old Middletown man, was traveling south on SR 501 as Unit 1, a Volkswagen Jetta, driven by Operator 1, approached from the rear. Unit 1 attempted to overtake Unit 2 on the left. As Unit 1 attempted to merge back into the southbound lane, it subsequently struck the front bumper of Unit 2. Unit 2 sustained no visible damage. Unit 1 then fled the scene. It is unknown whether Operator 1 sustained any injuries as a result of this crash. Operator 2 sustained no injuries as a result of this crash.

Myerstown Borough

Theft – On Nov. 29, 2020 between 4:20 p.m. and 11:59 p.m., PSP Jonestown responded to South Railroad St. for a report of a theft. Through investigation it was determined an unknown Suspect or Suspects stole a package ordered by the Victim from the front porch. The Victim was a 50 year old Myerstown man. The stolen items included Four Combo Stackable Breeding Bird Cages, valued at $137.44. Investigation is ongoing.

Firearm Sale Or Transfer – Members from PSP Jonestown are investigating a Pennsylvania Instant Check System (PICS) denial that occurred at East Main Ave. on May 18, 2020 at 2:44 p.m. The investigation is ongoing.

North Cornwall Township

Drug Possession – On Oct. 11, 2020 at 10:30 p.m., this incident occurred on the 300 block of Royal Rd. Carlos Enrique Mendoza-Castillo, a 23 year old Lebanon resident, was charged with Possession of a Small Amount of Marijuana after police checked on a vehicle with hazard lights activated.

DUI, Driving On Roadways Laned For Traffic – On Oct. 10, 2020 at 12:22 a.m., this incident occurred on the 1600 block of Cumberland St. Dalton Lovell, a 22 year old Lebanon resident, was charged with DUI and Driving on Roadways Laned for Traffic after police observed a driver of a vehicle traveling towards the police vehicle. The officer needed to adjust his patrol vehicle to avoid a traffic crash.

Theft – On Nov. 3, 2020 at 11:55 a.m., this incident occurred at Manor Care, located at 900 Tuck Street. Shelby Norton, a 29 year old Myerstown resident, was charged with Theft by Unlawful Taking after it was reported to police that she took medication from the facility.

Vehicle Accident, DUI – On Nov. 3, 2020 at 6:55 p.m., this crash occurred on Colebrook Rd. at Spangler Rd. Unit 1, driven by Operator 1, Daniel Reynolds, a 71 year old Hershey resident, was traveling south on Colebrook Rd. Operator 1 passed Spangler Rd. and traveled off the roadway, crossed the northbound lane, struck a sign, continued traveling south in the northbound lane, and went up an embankment. Unit 1 came to rest on the side of the embankment. Operator 1 could not exit Unit 1 due to leaning heavily to its right side. Operator 1 was not injured as a result of this crash. Neversink Fire Department arrived on scene, braced Unit 1, and got Operator 1 out of Unit 1. Operator 1 was charged with DUI after results from his blood results. Operator 1’s BAC was 0.157.

Criminal Mischief – On Nov. 8, 2020 at 9:54 p.m., this incident occurred on the 900 block of Lilac Ln. Justin Daubert, a 37 year old Lebanon resident, was charged with Criminal Mischief after he broke a window and four flowerpots, valued for a total of $500.00, belonging to two female victims. Police were called for a subject banging on their door, screaming and yelling, and dumped the flowerpots.

Burning Ordinance Violations – On Nov. 11, 2020 at 5:29 p.m., this incident occurred on the 1900 block of Walnut St. James Carter, a 65 year old Lebanon resident, was cited for a violation of the North Cornwall Twp. Burning Ordinance. Neversink Fire Chief was traveling down Walnut St. and saw heavy smoke and a bright glow coming from the rear of a residence on Walnut St. Fire and police observed a large unattended fire to the rear of the residence. Fire applied water to extinguish the flames.

On Nov. 19, 2020 at 12:00 p.m., James Carter was cited a second time for violating the North Cornwall Twp. Burning Ordinance for burning items that are not allowed.

Theft – On Nov. 12, 2020 at 4:39 p.m., this incident occurred on the 100 block of Northwood Court. A 13 year old Lebanon female and a 14 year old Lebanon female were cited for Theft of Property. A male Victim reported to police that on Oct. 28, 2020 at approximately 4:35 p.m., his blue Trump 2020 “Make America Great” flag was stolen from their residence. The flag is valued at $40.00. The juveniles were seen on his CCTV removing the flag.

Drug Possession – On Nov. 23, 2020 at 11:18 a.m., this incident occurred on the 2100 block of Center St. Gerardo Lugo, a 23 year old Lebanon resident, was charged with Possession of a Small Amount of Marijuana, and Carlos Orihuela-Hernandez, a 20 year old Lebanon resident, was charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. The incident was reported to police by the Lebanon County Sheriff’s Office.

Fugitive From Justice – On Nov. 28, 2020 at 5:00 p.m., this incident occurred at the intersection of 16th St. and Chestnut St. Said Livan Herrero-Cardero, a 46 year old Lebanon resident, was taken into custody on an arrest warrant for battery and assault offenses (Fugitive From Justice) out of Miami-Dade Police Department in Miami, FL. Detention was requested for Miami-Dade extradition. Herrero-Cardero was stopped by police for failure to use proper signals when turning. North Cornwall Twp. police department does not have any details concerning the warrant issued by Miami-Dade.

Operation Of A Vehicle Without Financial Responsibility – On Nov. 29, 2020 at 12:45 p.m., this incident occurred on the 2100 block of Center St. A 17 year old male juvenile was cited for Operation of a Vehicle Without Financial Responsibility and Operation of a Vehicle Without a Valid Inspection. Police were called for a juvenile driving a vehicle (ATV) on Center St.

Disorderly Conduct, Public Drunkenness – On Nov. 29, 2020 at 4:22 p.m., this incident occurred on the 3300 block of West Oak St. A 35 year old Lebanon man was cited for Disorderly Conduct and Public Drunkenness when police were called for a disturbance and an intoxicated male refusing to leave the facility.

Vehicle Accident – On Dec. 11, 2020 at 11:22 a.m., this crash occurred on Cornwall Rd. and Norman Dr. A 41 year old Lebanon woman wanted to make a lefthand turn onto Norman Dr. when she was rear-ended by a 31 year old Lebanon woman. No injuries were observed as a result of the accident. Both vehicles sustained moderate damage and were towed from the scene.

Vehicle Accident – On Dec. 14, 2020 at 11:17 a.m., a 17 year old Lebanon male lost control of his vehicle on the wet roadway while traveling north on SR 241. The vehicle struck a mailbox on the 1700 block of Colebrook Rd. and a Met-Ed pole. The vehicle was drivable. No injuries were reported as a result of this crash. Met-Ed arrived and determined the pole was not damaged.

Vehicle Accident – On Dec. 15, 2020 at 11:02 a.m., this crash occurred at the intersection of 16th St. and Cumberland St. traffic signal.A 34 year old Robesonia man struck a 36 year old Palmyra woman, from behind, while traveling east on Cumberland St. (SR 422). No injuries were reported as a result of this crash. The vehicles were driven from the scene.

Vehicle Accident – On Dec. 18, 2020 at 11:58 p.m., this crash occurred on the 2100 block of West Cumberland St. A 22 year old Lebanon woman pulled out of the Speedway parking lot, striking a 36 year old Lebanon man, who was traveling east on West Cumberland St. No injuries were reported as a result of this crash. The vehicles were driven from the scene.

Disorderly Conduct – On Dec. 19, 2020 at 10:59 a.m., police responded to a parking complaint. A female parked her vehicle in a shoveled parking space in the 1600 block of Chestnut St. to visit her sister. A 21 year old Lebanon man was cited for Disorderly Conduct: Obscene Language, for yelling and using obscene language towards the Victim.

Defiant Trespass – On Dec. 28, 2020 at 11:35 p.m., this incident occurred on the 2100 block of West Cumberland St. Daniel James Hepp, a 27 year old man with no permanent address, was arrested with Defiant Trespass after he was told to leave the premises four times and continued to return to the building. Hepp was transported to Lebanon County Central Booking.

Drug Possession – On Mar. 13, 2020 at 12:43 a.m., this incident occurred on the 100 block of Rocherty Rd. Police observed a vehicle in the Sheetz parking lot with an expired inspection sticker. A passenger in the vehicle, Autumn Rain Man, a 20 year old Lebanon resident, was charged with Marijuana: Small Amount Personal Use and Use/Possession of Drug Paraphernalia after police received results from Pennsylvania State Police Forensic Laboratory.

Vehicle Accident – On Dec. 30, 2020 at 10:14 a.m., this crash occurred on the 600 block of East Penn Ave. A 47 year old Jonestown man backed up and struck a 60 year old Palmyra woman. The woman was parked in the parking lot of Puff Super Value. No injuries were reported as a result of this crash. Both vehicles sustained light damage.

Vehicle Accident – On Dec. 30, 2020 at 11:55 a.m., this crash occurred on West Cumberland St. (SR 422). A 58 year old Annville man struck the passenger’s side of a 61 year old Lebanon man, as the Lebanon man was turning into Miller and Bixler. No injuries were reported as a result of this crash. Both vehicles sustained light damage.

Vehicle Accident – On Dec. 30, 2020 at 2:13 p.m., this crash occurred on Quentin Rd. at Isabel Dr. A 26 year old Elizabethtown woman pulled out from Isabel Dr., turning left onto Quentin Rd. and struck a 17 year old Lebanon female who was traveling south on Quentin Rd. No injuries were reported as a result of this crash. Both vehicles sustained light damage and were driven from the scene.

Vehicle Accident – On Dec. 31, 2020 at 9:14 a.m., this crash occurred at the intersection of 22nd St. at Chestnut St. Unit 1, driven by Operator 1, a 56 year old Lebanon woman, was making a left turn onto 22nd St. from Chestnut St. and struck the left front of Unit 2, driven by Operator 2, a 75 year old Lebanon man. No injuries were reported as a result of this crash. Both vehicles sustained light damage, but they were driven from the scene.

Union Township

Found Property – On Dec. 29, 2020 at approximately 2:00 p.m., a concerned citizen found a set of keys upon the Swatara Trail at its intersection with the newly renovated Waterville Bridge on SR 72. If anyone has any information as to the owner of the above listed found item, they are asked to call PSP Jonestown at 717-865-2194.

Vehicle Accident – On Dec. 24, 2020 at approximately 6:16 p.m., this single-vehicle reportable crash occurred on I 81 South at mile marker 86.9 in Union Twp. Unit 1, a 2012 Volvo Truck Tractor (a commercial tractor-trailer), driven by Operator 1, a 40 year old Harrisonburg, VA man, was traveling south on I 81. At this date and time, the conditions of the roadway were wet due to rain. Unit 1 was traveling too fast for conditions, which caused Unit 1 to lose control and exited the left side of the roadway. Unit 1 struck a wired guide rail, causing disabling damage. Operator 1 was transported to the Hershey Medical Center by Life Lion EMS for a suspected minor back injury. PennDOT was notified of the damaged guide rail. Operator 1 was cited for Driving Vehicle at Safe Speed.

West Cornwall Township

Ordinance Violation – A 20 year old Myerstown man and a 21 year old Fredericksburg man have been cited for violating the Lebanon County Parks ordinance on Dec. 19, 2020 at 1:15 p.m. at Clarence Schock Memorial Park at Governor Dick. Both were cited after being apprehended by the park ranger for snowmobiling on land prohibited for their use.
