32 Lebanon County students have received Fall, 2020, academic honors at the Pennsylvania College of Health Sciences in Lancaster.

About 120 Lebanon County residents are enrolled at the college, which has a total student body of slightly over 2,000.

โ€œOn behalf of everyone at Pennsylvania College of Health Sciences, we congratulate all of our Fall 2020 Deanโ€™s and Presidentโ€™s Lists recipients on the recognition for their commitment to educational excellence,โ€ said Dr. Mary Grace Simcox, the college’s President.

โ€œDespite the challenges many of these students faced in pursuing their respective degrees during the COVID-19 pandemic, these students earned the highest levels of academic achievement through their diligence, resiliency and dedication to a rewarding career in health care.โ€

The college was founded in 1903 as Lancaster General Hospital’s School of Nursing, and is still affiliated with the hospital. It began offering allied health programs in the 1950s, and has offered baccalaureate degrees since 2009, including a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and an RN to BSN option.

The college has since added four masters programs and a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree.
