Annville Township
DUI, Drug Possession – On Feb. 16, 2021, Annville Police filed criminal charges against Skyler Jarvi, a 28 year old Cleona resident, with four counts of DUI and one count of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. The charges stem from a traffic incident reported to Annville Police on Dec. 30, 2020 at 7:37 p.m. in the 1st block of Mount Pleasant Rd. in South Annville Twp.
Bethel Township
DUI – On Feb. 12, 2021 at approximately 10:13 p.m., PSP Jonestown received a report of an erratic driver traveling on I 78 West, approaching the I 81 interchange. Troopers responded to the area and located the erratic driver on I 81 South in East Hanover Twp. A traffic stop was initiated and the Operator admitted to being under the influence of multiple controlled substances. The Operator participated in standardized field sobriety tests and was taken into custody for suspicion of DUI. The Operator was transported to the Good Samaritan Hospital for a blood test. The Arrestee was a 23 year old Harrisburg woman. The vehicles involved included a 2020 Subaru Impreza Impreza Outback. Charges are pending blood test results.
Harassment – On Jan. 22, 2021 at 1:12 p.m., this crime occurred on North Mechanic St. In the commission of this crime, the Suspects pushed each other during an argument.
City of Lebanon
Drug Possession – A 22 year old Lebanon woman has been cited for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia on Feb. 7, 2021 at 7:33 p.m. on the 500 block of East Lehman St.
Disorderly Conduct – A 56 year old Philadephia man has been cited for Disorderly Conduct (urinating in public) on Feb. 12, 2021 at 2:04 p.m. on the 700 block of Cumberland St.
Dogs Running At Large, Vaccination Required, Application For Dog License – A 22 year old Lebanon man has been cited for Dogs Running at Large, Vaccination Required, and Application for Dog License after his dog was found running at large on Jan. 11, 2021 at 1:48 p.m. on the 500 block of North 3rd St.
Simple Assault – Christian Vasquez, a 31 year old Lebanon resident, has been charged with Simple Assault (domestic violence related) and Unlawful Restraint after an incident on Jan. 27, 2021 at 4:12 a.m. on the 600 block of Walnut St. Vasquez is accused of punching and striking the 35 year old Victim with pottery, causing her injury to her face, head, and chest. He is also accused of restraining her from answering the door when police arrived, causing police to force entry into the apartment to protect the Victim. Police allege Vasquez was still restraining the Victim upon entry. Vasquez was apprehended and transported to LCCB. He was arraigned before MDJ Carl Garver and incarcerated at LCCF, in lieu of $10,000 bail.
Drug Possession, Possession With Intent To Deliver A Controlled Substance – Charges of Possession With Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of a Small Amount of Marijuana, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia have been filed against Anthony Vega, a 23 year old Lebanon resident, after contact with police on Jan. 20, 2021 at 2:55 p.m. on the 500 block of Walnut St. Vega was detained by Lebanon County Adult Probation and incarcerated at LCCF on the date of the incident.
Drug Possession – Charges of Possession of a Small Amount of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia have been filed against a 17 year old North Cornwall Twp. male after police had contact with the juvenile parked on the lot of a vacant building on the 1,400 block of Chestnut St. on Jan. 8, 2021 at 8:50 p.m.
Burglary, Criminal Attempt To Commit Burglary, Criminal Conspiracy – A 13 year old male, a 14 year old male, and a 15 year old male, all from Lebanon, have been charged with two counts of Burglary, two counts of Criminal Attempt to Commit Burglary, two counts of Criminal Conspiracy to Commit Burglary, and two counts of Criminal Conspiracy to Attempt to Commit Burglary after investigation into incidents occurring on Jan. 11, 2021 at 11:24 p.m. and Jan. 12, 2021 at 2:35 a.m. at four separate locations. Police accuse the three juveniles of entering a business on the 1,200 block of Cumberland St. and on the 00 block of South 8th St. Items were removed from both businesses. An estimate of loss is currently approximately $500 total. Police also accuse the three juveniles of attempting entry at a business on the 300 block of Cumberland St. and on the 00 block of South 8th St.
Indecent Assault – Police have filed charges of Indecent Assault against Carmelo Perez, Jr., a 60 year old Lebanon resident, after investigation into allegations that Perez touched the 14 year old female’s breasts and vagina in Aug. of 2020. Perez is accused of inappropriately touching the Victim on the 1,000 block of Brock Dr.
Drug Possession – Charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia have been filed against a 30 year old Lebanon man after contact with police on Jan. 29, 2021 at 10:18 a.m. on the 600 block of Federal St.
Drug Possession – A 33 year old Lebanon man has been cited for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia on Feb. 14, 2021 at 2:58 p.m. on the 00 block of North 12th St.
Possession Of A Firearm Prohibited, Drug Possession – Charges of Possession of a Firearm Prohibited, Firearms not to be Carried Without a License, Possession With Intent to Distribute a Controlled Substance, Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia have been filed against Fernando Miranda, a 41 year old Lebanon resident, after contact with police on Jan. 28, 2021 at 11:59 a.m. on the 1,200 block of Washington St. Police responded to a suspicious vehicle and found Miranda sleeping in the driver’s seat of the vehicle. Police allege, during the subsequent interaction, Miranda possessed a concealed firearm; prior criminal convictions prevent him from being able to possess a firearm. Police also allege he possessed heroin and crack cocaine. He was transported to LCCB and detained at LCCF on a parole violation.
Altered, Forged, Or Counterfeit Documents And Plates – Charges of Altered, Forged, or Counterfeit Documents and Plates and Driving While Operating Privilege is Suspended or Revoked have been filed against Jonathan Martinez, a 26 year old Lebanon resident, after a traffic stop on Jan. 18, 2021 at 9:00 a.m. on the 500 block of North 4th Ave. Martinez is accused of driving a vehicle with a suspended license and a look-a-like PA registration plate.
Furnishing Drug-Free Urine – A charge of Furnishing Drug-Free Urine has been filed against Brittany Straub, a 31 year old Lebanon resident, on Jan. 14, 2021 at 10:20 p.m. at the Lebanon County Probation Office, located at 508 Oak St.
DUI, Limitations On Driving On Left Side Of Roadway – Charges of Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and Limitations on Driving on Left Side of Roadway have been filed against Tracy Fiorentino, a 48 year old Annville resident, after a traffic stop on Jan. 28, 2021 at 1:29 a.m. on the 300 block of North 12th St. Fiorentino is accused of passing a police vehicle in a no-passing zone. She refused to submit to the blood alcohol testing.
Public Drunkenness – A 36 year old Lebanon man has been cited for Public Drunkenness on Feb. 16, 2021 at 5:30 a.m. on the 1,100 block of Cumberland St.
PFA Violation – Oscar Minaya-Santana, a 23 year old Lebanon resident, has been charged with a Protection From Abuse Order violation after having contact with the 20 year old Victim on Jan. 29, 2021 at 3:50 p.m. on the 700 block of Willow St. The Victim was not injured as a result of the violation. Minaya-Santana was transported to LCCB and arraigned before MDJ Carl Garver. He was released on $5,000 unsecured bail.
Simple Assault – Brook Troutman, a 22 year old Lebanon resident, has been charged with Simple Assault (domestic violence-related) after an incident on Jan. 29, 2021 at 11:29 a.m. on the 400 block of Freeman St. Troutman is alleged to have struck the 23 year old male Victim, causing a small laceration above his right eye and also bit the Victim, causing a bite injury to his back. Troutman was transported to LCCB and arraigned before MDJ Carl Garver. She was released on $5,000 unsecured bail.
Simple Assault – David Rhoads, a 39 year old Lebanon resident, has been charged with Simple Assault (domestic violence-related) after an incident on Feb. 14, 2021 at 11:10 p.m. on the 900 block of Meily St. Rhoads is accused of striking the 64 year old female Victim on her face then threatened to choke and kill her during a physical altercation. Rhoads was apprehended and transported to LCCB. He was arraigned before MDJ Maria Dissinger and incarcerated at LCCF, in lieu of $5,000 bail.
Simple Assault – Jose Flores-Flores, a 31 year old Lebanon resident, has been charged with Simple Assault (domestic violence-related) after an incident on Feb. 14, 2021 at 9:56 p.m. on the 00 block of South 8th St. Flores is accused of punching the 32 year old female Victim, causing injury to her face. Flores was apprehended and transported to LCCB. He was arraigned before MDJ Maria Dissinger and incarcerated at LCCF, in lieu of $5,000 bail.
Drug Possession, Public Drunkenness – Charges of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Public Drunkenness have been filed against Israel Nunez-Carrasquillo, a 51 year old Reading resident, after being observed walking in the traffic lanes of the 1,100 block of Chestnut St. on Feb. 7, 2021 at 1:35 a.m.
Arrest Prior To Requisition – Chauntae Jeffries, a 44 year old Middletown resident, has been charged with Arrest Prior to Requisition (fugitive from justice) after contact with police on Feb. 11, 2021 at 12:48 a.m. on the 600 block of Quentin Rd. Jeffires had a Lebanon County Bench Warrant and a Bench Warrant (failure to appear – theft) for his arrest in Maryland. Jeffries was transported to LCCB and arraigned before MDJ Kim Wolfe. He was incarcerated at LCCF, in lieu of $10,000 bail.
Harassment – A 21 year old North Lebanon Twp. woman has been cited for Harassment after an incident on Feb. 18, 2021 at 9:15 p.m. on the 800 block of South 12th St.
Cornwall Borough
Simple Assault: Domestic Violence – Christopher Kalwaic, a 45 year old Lebanon resident, was charged with Simple Assault: Domestic Violence for an incident that occurred at his residence on Feb. 15, 2021 at approximately 5:15 a.m., involving a 44 year old woman. He was arraigned at Lebanon County Central Booking and placed in Lebanon County Prison on $5,000 bail and a PA Parole detainer.
Vehicle Damage – Operator 1, a 56 year old West Chester man, reported that on Feb. 10, 2021 at approximately 10:12 a.m., as he was traveling north on SR 72, north of Spring Hill Ln., a sheet of ice blew off of the roof of a southbound tractor-trailer and smashed his windshield. No injuries were reported as a result of this incident. Operator 1 was unable to provide any description of the tractor-trailer.
Jackson Township
Residential Burglary – On Jan. 29, 2021 at 9:42 p.m., this crime occurred as an unknown Actor(s) attempted to enter the Victim’s home, located on Greenbriar Dr. An Actor(s) cut the rear screendoor and manipulated the latch to gain entry. Nothing was reported missing. The Victim was a 70 year old Myerstown man. The property damaged included a Screendoor, valued at $20.00.
Drug Possession – On Feb. 14, 2021 at 1:40 a.m., at Houtztown Rd. and Stracks Dam Rd., PSP Jonestown conducted a traffic stop. The Operator of the vehicle was determined to be under the influence of controlled substances. He was also found to be in possession of suspected methamphetamine. The Arrestee was Angelo Brown, a 53 year old Myerstown man. The vehicles involved included a 2005 Honda Civic. Charges are to be filed accordingly.
Jonestown Borough
Endangering Welfare Of Child – Sometime between Feb. 15, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. and Feb. 16, 2021 at 2:00 a.m., PSP Jonestown responded to the WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital, located on West Market St., after an 18 month old child was suspected to have been exposed to narcotics. The Victim was a 1 year old Lancaster female. The investigation is ongoing.
Millcreek Township
Indecent Assault – Sometime between Jan. 29, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. and Jan. 31, 2021 at 6:00 p.m., this incident occurred on Garden Dr. This incident allegedly occurred as the Suspect did touch and lick the Victim’s private area. The Victim was a 4 year old Womelsdorf female.
North Lebanon Township
DUI – Migdaly Villegas-Garcia, a 24 year old Lebanon resident, was charged with Driving Under the Influence after an incident in the 1,400 block of Weavertown Rd. on Jan. 9, 2021.
DUI – Donna Gregas, a 68 year old Lebanon resident, was charged with Driving Under the Influence after an incident in the 1,700 block of Route 72 on Jan. 28, 2021.
DUI, Drug Possession – Brock Dourtich, a 26 year old Lebanon resident, was charged with Driving Under the Influence of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia after a traffic stop on Nov. 13, 2020 on Route 72 and 22nd St.
False Report – Rosalia Orea-Sourwine, a 23 year old Lebanon resident, was charged with False Reports after giving false information to law enforcement on Jan. 16, 2021 after an incident at her residence.
Simple Assault, Harassment – Toni Bashore, a 36 year old Lebanon resident, was charged with Simple Assault and Harassment after an incident that occurred on Feb. 13, at her residence.
South Londonderry Township
Arson, Causing Or Risking A Catastrophe, Recklessly Endangering Another Person – On Friday, Feb. 12, 2021 at 11:03 p.m., Police, Fire, and EMS Units responded to the apartment building located at 20 West Market St. in Palmyra (in Campbelltown) for smoke coming from an apartment. Smoke was found to be coming from Apartment 1, a first-floor apartment, the residence of Yale Hancock, a 47 year old Palmyra resident. She was uncooperative with Police, Fire, and EMS. The building Occupants were evacuated while the Fire Department rendered the scene safe. A few hours later, at 1:29 a.m., Police, Fire, and EMS were again dispatched to the same location for another reported fire. All five Occupants of the building were again evacuated while the fire was extinguished and the structure was ventilated. No Occupants were injured as a result of this incident. A Pennsylvania State Police Fire Marshall was requested to the scene and responded. The investigation revealed that the fire was intentionally set by Hancock inside of her apartment. She was transported to the Good Samaritan Hospital for evaluation and then taken into custody later on Feb. 13, 2021. She was transported to Lebanon County Central Booking and arraigned before MDJ Kim Wolfe. She was placed in the Lebanon County Correctional Facility, in lieu of $50,000 bail. She was charged with one count of Arson Endangering Persons, one count of Arson of an Inhabited Building, one count of Arson Endangering Property, one count of Causing or Risking a Catastrophe, and five counts of Recklessly Endangering Another Person.
Swatara Township
Criminal Mischief Under $1,000 – On Feb. 13, 2021 at 12:00 p.m., PSP responded to the 200 block of Moore Rd. in Swatara Twp. for a report of criminal mischief. Upon PSP arrival, the Victim related that on Feb. 13, 2021 at approximately 3:00 a.m., someone had damaged her mailbox. The mailbox was bent and knocked off of the post. The Victim related that she did not hear a plow at said time. The Victim related that she did not know anyone that would have intentionally committed said crime against her property. No tire marks were observed near the mailbox location. The Victim did not have video surveillance. A neighborhood canvas was conducted with negative results. A Victim’s Rights Guide was provided. The Victim was a 77 year old Lebanon woman. The damaged property included a Mailbox, valued at $25.00. PSP is handling.
Vehicle Accident – On Feb. 18, 2021 at approximately 7:07 p.m., PSP Jonestown investigated a single-vehicle crash that occurred on Greble Rd., just east of its intersection with Shirksville Rd. in Swatara Twp. This crash occurred as Unit 1, a 2010 Chevrolet Cobalt, driven by Operator 1, a 16 year old Lebanon male, was traveling east on Greble Rd. Unit 1 left the right side of the roadway and struck a utility pole. Unit 1 continued further to the south of the roadway and came to its position of final rest, facing east approximately 20 feet from the roadway. Unit 1 was removed from the scene at the Operator’s request by Automan’s Towing. A traffic citation was filed on Operator 1 for Roadways Laned for Traffic. Operator 1 was also cited for Driving Vehicle at Safe Speed. A written warning was written to Operator 1 for Failure to Utilize his Safety Belt. No injuries were reported or observed as a result of this crash. PSP Jonestown was assisted on scene by Trooper Grondziowski and Jonestown Fire/EMS.
Vehicle Accident – On Feb. 18, 2021 at 5:04 p.m., this crash occurred as Unit 1, a 2015 Nissan Sentra, driven by Operator 1, was traveling south on I 81 near mile marker 92.9 in Swatara Twp. Unit 1 was negotiating a lefthand curve when Unit 1’s tires lost contact with the snow- and ice-covered road surface, causing Operator 1 to lose control of Unit 1. Unit 1 exited the roadway from the west shoulder, where it hit a road sign. Unit 1 came to its position of final rest, facing a southeast direction. Unit 1 sustained damage to the driver’s side mirror. Operator 1 was wearing a seatbelt when this crash occurred and reported no injuries as a result of this crash. No airbags were deployed as a result of this crash. Unit 1 was driven from the scene by Operator 1. PSP Jonestown was assisted on scene by Trooper Seiler.
Vehicle Accident – On Feb. 19, 2021 at 1:05 p.m., this crash occurred as Unit 2, a 2015 Dodge Caravan, driven by Operator 2, a 32 year old Jonestown man, was traveling south on SR 72 at its intersection with New Bunkerhill Rd. in Swatara Twp. Unit 1, an unknown make and model, driven by Operator 1, was stopped at a properly posted and functioning stop sign. Unit 1 attempted to travel west onto Thompson Ave. as Unit 2 was traveling south on SR 72. Unit 1’s frontal portion, a pickup truck with a plow on the front of the vehicle, subsequently hit Unit 2 in its driver’s side rear tire. Unit 2 sustained damage to its driver’s side rear tire as a result. This damage included a cracked hubcap. Unit 1 left the scene, last seen traveling west on Thompson Ave. Operator 2 did not sustain any injuries as a result of this crash. Operator 1 was cited for Stop Signs and Yield Signs.
Union Township
Scattering Rubbish – On Feb. 16, 2021 at 3:10 p.m., troopers of PSP Jonestown station responded to Jonestown Rd. in Union Twp. for a report of scattering rubbish. Upon arrival on scene, it was determined that an unknown male driving a red Chevrolet Blazer placed four computer monitors and a printer at the above listed location. The above listed vehicle fled west on Jonestown Rd. The Victim was a 56 year old Lebanon man. The vehicles involved included a Chevrolet Blazer. Anyone with any information is asked to contact PSP Jonestown station.
Vehicle Accident – On Feb. 13, 2021 at 7:24 a.m., this single-vehicle crash occurred on I 81 Southbound at mile marker 96.4 in Bethel Twp. This crash occurred as Unit 1, a 2019 Freightliner Cascadia, driven by Operator 1, a 58 year old Chanute, KS man, accompanied by Passenger 1, a 64 year old Lebanon man, was traveling southbound in the righthand lane of I 81. While traversing a lefthand curve, Unit 1’s trailer became detached. Unit 1’s trailer then struck a guide rail off of the right shoulder of I 81. No injuries were reported as a result of this crash. Unit 1’s trailer was towed from the scene by Hammer’s Towing.
Harassment – On Feb. 13, 2021 at 10:27 a.m., PSP responded to an active domestic altercation on the 400 block of Jonestown Rd., Apartment 1, in Union Twp. Upon further investigation, it was determined that the husband (W/N-M) had struck his wife (W/N-F) in the face. No marks or injuries were reported or observed. Both individuals were separated. Harassment charges will be filed against the husband. The Arrestee was a 57 year old Jonestown man. The Victim was a 49 year old Jonestown woman. PSP is investigating.
Vehicle Accident – On Feb. 13, 2021 at 9:04 a.m., this single-vehicle reportable crash occurred on SR 72 South, approximately 500 feet south of Jonestown Rd. in Union Twp. This crash occurred when Unit 1, a 2001 Mitsubishi Galant, driven by Operator 1, a 42 year old Lebanon man, was traveling south on SR 72 and negotiating a slight left curve in the roadway. While traversing the turn, Unit 1 exited the right side of the roadway and struck a tree. Unit 1 sustained disabling front-end damage and was towed from the scene by Motter’s Towing. The Operator of Unit 1 reported no injuries at the scene. Operator 1 was cited for Driving on Divided Highways.
Drug Possession – On Feb. 18, 2021 at 10:36 p.m., at Awol Rd. and Racehorse Dr., members of PSP Jonestown responded to a single-vehicle crash. During the course of the crash investigation, the Arrestee was found to be in possession of marijuana. Charges for this incident have been filed through Magisterial District Court 52-3-04. The Arrestee was a 52 year old Jonestown woman. The vehicles involved included a 2008 Chevrolet Cobalt.
Vehicle Accident – On Feb. 18, 2021 at 10:29 p.m., this crash occurred on Awol Rd., just east of Racehorse Rd. in Union Twp. This crash occurred as Unit 1, a 2008 Chevrolet Cobalt, driven by Operator 1, Debra Mack, a 52 year old Jonestown woman, was traversing west on Awol Rd. Operator 1 was traveling too fast for conditions and was unable to negotiate a right curve in the roadway. Operator 1 lost control of Unit 1 and subsequently traversed off of the right shoulder of the roadway and struck a utility pole. Unit 1 sustained heavy and disabling damage to its front hood, bumper, and engine compartment, before coming to final rest facing north. Operator 1 sustained no injuries as a result of this crash. Unit 1 was towed from the scene by Motter’s Towing. Operator 1 was cited for Driving Vehicle at Safe Speed.
Vehicle Accident – On Feb. 18, 2021 at 5:44 p.m., this crash occurred as Unit 1, a 1998 Jeep Wrangler, driven by Operator 1, a 53 year old Hollidaysburg man, was traveling west on I 78 near mile marker 1.1. Unit 1 was traveling in the righthand lane when Unit 1’s tires lost control with the snow- and ice-covered road surface, causing Operator 1 to lose control of Unit 1. Unit 1 then exited the roadway from the south shoulder, where it hit a guide rail. After impact, Operator 1 was able to safely move his vehicle to the north shoulder, where Unit 1 came to its position of final rest. Unit 1 sustained damage to the front passenger’s side. Operator 1 was wearing a seatbelt when this crash occurred and reported no injuries. No airbags were deployed as a result of this crash. Unit 1 was towed from the scene by Workman’s Towing. PSP Jonestown was assisted on scene by PennDOT and Workman’s Towing. Operator 1 was cited for Driving Vehicle at Safe Speed.
West Cornwall Township
Vehicle Accident – On Feb. 18, 2021 at 5:09 p.m., this crash occurred on Butler Rd., between the Rail Trail and Old Mine Rd. Operator 1, Josh Whitman, a 34 year old Lebanon resident, lost control of his vehicle while traveling south, ran off of the road, and struck a tree. He was transported to the Hershey Medical Center by First Aid & Safety Patrol EMS. His vehicle sustained extensive damage.
Vehicle Accident – On Feb. 15, 2021 at 12:09 a.m., this crash occurred on Butler Rd., just north of Old Mine Rd. Operator 1, a 45 year old Lititz resident, lost control of her vehicle while negotiating a curve, ran off of the roadway, and struck a tree. She was transported to the Hershey Medical Center by First Aid & Safety Patrol EMS. Her vehicle sustained extensive damage and was towed.
Theft – A bag of Halite (rock salt), valued at $13.00, was stolen from the Sunoco A-Plus, located at 2520 Quentin Rd., sometime on Feb. 9, 2021 or Feb. 10, 2021.
Snowmobile Violations – A 29 year old Pine Grove man, a 36 year old Myerstown man, a 19 year old Annville man, and a 24 year old Annville man have all been cited for a violation of the Lebanon County Parks ordinance for operating snowmobiles on Governor Dick Park property along SR 117 on Feb. 2, 2021 at 11:16 p.m. Motor vehicles are prohibited in all areas of the Park.
