Annville Township

Accidents Involving Damage To Unattended Vehicles – On Feb. 22, 2021 at 1:30 a.m., Annville police filed criminal charges against Kelvin Malave, a 37 year old North Annville Twp. resident, with three counts of Accidents Involving Damage to Unattended Vehicles, Driving While Operating Privilege is Suspended (DUI-related), and Careless Driving. The charges are related to a four-vehicle crash on Feb. 22, 2021 at 1:23 a.m. in the 400 block of East Main St. In that crash, Malave was driving a vehicle eastbound when he lost control of the car, striking three unoccupied parked vehicles.

Bethel Township

Theft – On March 1, 2021 at 5:44 p.m., this incident occurred on SR 22 as the Victim purchased two Western Union checks and mailed them to a friend. The checks never made it to their intended destination. One of the checks was cashed at an unknown location by an unknown individual. The Victim was a 48 year old Bethel woman. The stolen property included a $500.00 Western Union Check, valued at $500.00. Investigation is ongoing.

Vehicle Accident – On March 5, 2021 at 1:19 a.m., this collision occurred as Unit 1, a 2001 Toyota Camry, driven by Operator 1, was traveling east on the off ramp for I 78 Eastbound when Operator 1 traveled through a posted stop sign at the intersection of SR 343. Unit 1 continued through the intersection where it traveled off the roadway and struck a guide rail. Unit 1 came to final rest on the shoulder, facing east partially blocking the northbound lane of travel. Operator 1 then fled the scene. Vehicle Accident – On Feb. 22, 2021 at 2:41 p.m., this crash occurred as Unit 1, a 2015 Freightliner Cascadia, driven by Operator 1, a 23 year old West Chester, OH man, was traveling west on I 78. Unit 1 drove through slush on the righthand side of the roadway, which caused Unit 1 to slide toward the lefthand side of the roadway. Unit 1 then hit the slush on the left shoulder of the roadway and then left the roadway, hitting a guide rail located on the lefthand side of the roadway. Unit 1 broke through the guide rail and came to final rest in the center median on I 78 West. Unit 1 was towed from the scene by Bethel Towing. Operator 1 was not injured as a result of this crash. Operator 1 was cited for Driving Vehicle at Safe Speed.

City of Lebanon

Disorderly Conduct – A 22 year old Lebanon man has been cited for Disorderly Conduct on Feb. 21, 2021 at 12:55 p.m. on the 900 block of Elizabeth St.

Drug Possession – A 22 year old Lebanon man has been cited for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia on Feb. 21, 2021 at 12:55 p.m. on the 900 block of Elizabeth St.

Disorderly Conduct – A 21 year old Lebanon man has been cited for Disorderly Conduct on Feb. 28, 2021 at 5:29 a.m. on the 1,100 block of Chestnut St.

Disorderly Conduct – A 32 year old Lebanon man has been cited for Disorderly Conduct on Feb. 6, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. on the 300 block of East Lehman St.

Involuntary Deviate Sexual Intercourse, Aggravated Indecent Assault – Charges of Involuntary Deviate Sexual Intercourse, Aggravated Indecent Assault (two counts), Corruption of Minors, Endangering Welfare of Children, and Indecent Assault (two counts) have been filed against Ricardo Falcon, a 51 year old Lebanon resident, after investigation into allegations Falcon sexually assaulted a female juvenile under the age of 13 between Apr. 9, 2021 and Oct. 9, 2020 on the 300 block of Federal St.

Aggravated Assault, Simple Assault, Possession Of Instruments Of Crime – Angel Medina, a 24 year old Lebanon resident, has been charged with Aggravated Assault, Simple Assault, Possession of Instruments of Crime, Prohibited Offensive Weapon, and Disorderly Conduct after an incident on Feb. 21, 2021 at 9:33 p.m. on the 100 block of South 10th St. Medina is accused of cutting the 43 year old Victim with a sharp object later determined to be two screwdrivers tied together. The Victim had a laceration to his face and a laceration to his hand. Both lacerations required medical treatment. Medina and the Victim are familiar with each other. Medina fled the scene and was apprehended a short time later. He was transported to LCCB and arraigned before MDJ Anthony Verna. He was incarcerated at LCCF in lieu of $25,000 bail.

Simple Assault – Jorvin Vasconcelos, a 22 year old Lebanon resident, has been charged with Simple Assault (domestic violence related) after an incident on Feb. 19, 2021 at 5:24 p.m. on the 200 block of South 8th St. Vasconcelos is accused of pushing and punching the 21 year old Victim, causing minor injury to her back and lip. Vasconcelos was apprehended and transported to LCCB. He was arraigned before MDJ Maria Dissinger and incarcerated at LCCF in lieu of $2,500 bail.

Simple Assault, Terroristic Threats – A warrant has been issued for the arrest of Michael Alejandro-Rosa, a 27 year old Lebanon resident, after being charged with Simple Assault and Terroristic Threats (domestic violence related) on Feb. 20, 2021 at 2:25 p.m. on the 00 block of South 8th St. Alejandro is accused of punching the 29 year old Victim multiple times, causing minor injury to her face. It is alleged that, during the assault, Alejandro was telling the Victim he would kill her. He fled from the scene prior to police arrival and could not be located.

Simple Assault, Harassment – Denise Pensel, a 46 year old Lebanon resident, has been charged with Simple Assault (domestic violence related) and Harassment after an incident on Feb. 22, 2021 at 7:41 p.m. on the 00 block of North 10th St. Pensel is accused of punching the 27 year old Victim on his chest and face as well as grabbing him by his throat, causing minor injury. Pensel was apprehended and transported to LCCB. She was arraigned before MDJ Anthony Verna and incarcerated at LCCF in lieu of $7,500 bail.

Drug Possession – Charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia have been filed against Richard Hoofnagle, a 45 year old North Cornwall resident, after an incident on Feb. 8, 2021 at 12:54 p.m. on the 300 block of South 6th St. Hoofnagle was incarcerated on Feb. 8, 2021 due to a Lebanon County Bench Warrant.

Fleeing Or Attempting To Elude Officer, Careless Driving, Registration Of ATV – Charges of Fleeing or Attempting to Elude Officer, Careless Driving, and Registration of ATV have been filed against William Marti-Camacho, a 33 year old Lebanon resident, after an incident on Feb. 1, 2021 at 8:31 p.m. at North 2nd St. and Mifflin St. Police attempted to stop a group of ATVs. Police allege Marti became stuck in a snowbank while attempting to flee from police. Marti was detained and charges were filed.

Drug Possession, Operating Following Suspension Of Registration – Charges of Possession of a Small Amount of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Operation Following Suspension of Registration have been filed against Patience Neal, a 21 year old Myerstown resident, after a traffic stop on Feb. 6, 2021 at 9:56 p.m. on the 1,100 block of Maple St.

DUI, Drivers Required To be Licensed, Unlawful Activities – Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol, Drivers Required to be Licensed, and Unlawful Activities have been filed against Felipe Vazquez-Vazquez, a 49 year old Myerstown resident, after a traffic stop on Feb. 7, 2021 at 2:06 a.m. on the 100 block of East Maple St. Vazquez-Vazquez refused to submit to the blood alcohol test.

Drug Possession – Charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia have been filed against Christian Oliveras-Alvarez, a 27 year old Lebanon resident, after police allege he was discovered sleeping in his vehicle on Feb. 5, 2021 at 1:31 a.m. on the 100 block of Van Buren St.

East Hanover Township

Commercial Burglary – On March 5, 2021 at 2:51 p.m., troopers of PSP Jonestown station responded to Park Dr. for a report of a burglary. Upon arrival on scene, it was determined that an unknown Actor(s) entered the building by unknown means and caused damage to the inside. The Victim was East Hanover Twp. in Annville. This investigation is ongoing. Anyone with any information regarding this incident is asked to contact PSP Jonestown station.

Heidelberg Township

Theft – On Feb. 28, 2021 at 4:12 p.m., PSP received a report of a theft at South Lancaster Ave. in Heidelberg Twp. The Complainant/Victim related that he had sold his four gold coins over eBay but never received a payment. The Victim related that he received fraudulent eBay emails advising to send the item without payment. The gold coins were entered into NCIC as stolen by the serial number associated with each coin. The Victim was a 25 year old Newmanstown man. The stolen property included an NCG 2020 Eagle G $50 MS70 Gold Coin, valued at $2,000.00, NCG 2020 Eagle G $25 MS70 Gold Coin, valued at $1,000.00, NCG 2020 Eagle G $10 MS70 Gold Coin, valued at $500.00, and NCG 2020 Eagle G $5 MS70 Gold Coin, valued at $500.00. PSP is investigating.

Jackson Township

Theft – On March 5, 2021 at 12:23 p.m., State Police responded to Kutztown Rd. for an identity theft. Through investigation, it was discovered that an unknown individual(s) opened a savings account using the Victim’s personal information. The Victim incurred no financial loss as a result of this incident. The Victim was a 43 year old Myerstown man.

Myerstown Borough

Harassment – On Feb. 27, 2021 at 5:15 p.m., PSP responded to a report of a harassment on the 100 block of West Lincoln Ave. in Myerstown Boro. Upon investigation, it was determined that a W/N-M with multiple face tattoos had threatened his sister, who is an employee at Domino’s Pizza. The male entered into a verbal argument with multiple employees in the parking lot of Domino’s Pizza and was asked to leave. The male was located and issued an NTC for Harassment. PSP is investigating.

Drug Possession – On Feb. 3, 2021 at 12:17 p.m., PSP Jonestown troopers and Lebanon County Probation conducted a warrant service at Coover Aly Coover Aly. After apprehending the wanted individual, the wanted individual indicated his friend was overdosing in the hotel room. PSP Jonestown troopers and Lebanon County Probation made entry and observed a male suffering from a suspected overdose along with a female inside the room. The female inside the room never contacted 911 for the overdosing individual. The individual who overdosed was transported to the hospital. Drugs and drug paraphernalia were located and seized. Troopers are currently investigating.

Criminal Trespass – On March 2, 2021 at 9:04 p.m., PSP Jonestown responded to West Lincoln Ave. for a report of trespassing. The Arrestee entered onto the property after being advised multiple times he was not allowed. The Arrestee was cited with Simple Trespass via Non Traffic Citation. The Arrestee was a 30 year old Myerstown man.The Victim was Domino’s in Myerstown.

North Lebanon Township

Vehicle Accident – On Feb. 17, 2021 at 4:37 p.m., this crash occurred on SR 72 just north of Long Ln. in North Lebanon Twp. This crash occurred as Unit 2, a 2012 Chevrolet Cruze, driven by Operator 2, a 23 year old Lebanon man, was stopped at a red traffic signal on SR 72 South. Operator 1 was traversing south on SR 72 South in Unit 1, a 2004 Toyota Highlander, driven by Operator 1, Nancy Jones, a 56 year old Lebanon woman, and failed to observe traffic stopped ahead of Unit 1. Unit 1 subsequently struck the rear end of Unit 2. Unit 1 sustained mild damage to its front bumper at the 12 o’clock position and was able to be driven from the scene in its normal customary manner. Operator 1 sustained no injuries as a result of this crash; however, she was determined to be under the influence of controlled substances and placed under arrest for suspicion of DUI. Unit 2 sustained mild damage to its rear bumper at the 6 o’clock position and was able to be driven from the scene in its normal customary manner. Operator 2 sustained a mild back injury as a result of this crash while Passenger 1, a 22 year old Lebanon woman, of Unit 2 sustained no injuries as a result of this crash. Operator 1 was cited for Following Too Closely.

Swatara Township

Disorderly Conduct – On March 4, 2021 sometime between 9:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m., at Darlington Ave., the Victim reported that his vehicle had been “egged.” Charges for this incident have been filed through Magisterial District Court 52-3-03. The Victim was a 23 year old Jonestown man. The Arrestees include a 20 year old Columbia woman and a 20 year old Mechanicsburg woman. The vehicles involved included a 2017 Chevrolet Cruze.

Theft Items From Motor Vehicle – On March 7, 2020 at approximately 8:30 a.m., State Police responded to Applewood Ct. for the report of a theft from a motor vehicle. Investigation revealed that an unknown individual(s) entered an unlocked vehicle owned by the Victim sometime on March 7, 2020 between 12:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. and removed numerous pieces of clothing and related apparel. The unknown individual(s) fled the scene in an unknown direction of travel by unknown means. Anyone with information is asked to contact PSP Jonestown at 717-865-2194 and reference incident number PA2021-303824. The Victim was a 27 year old Lebanon man. The stolen property included a Fox Riding Glove, valued at $28.00, Carbon Fiber Oakley Goggles, valued at $40.00, a Black And White O’Neil Jersey, valued at $25.00, a White O’Neil Helmet, valued at $130.00, Black O’Neil Boots, valued at $130.00, and Black O’Neil Pants, valued at $80.00.

Union Township

Vehicle Accident – On March 5, 2021 at approximately 2:45 p.m., this crash occurred as Unit 1, driven by Operator 1, was traveling west on Allentown Blvd. (SR 22 West) in Union Twp. Unit 1 was in the left lane traveling west, as Unit 3, a school bus, driven by Operator 3 and accompanied by its Passengers, was stopped in the right lane with its red signals flashing. Unit 2, driven by Operator 2 and accompanied by Passenger 1 and Passenger 2, was in the left lane stopped. Unit 1’s frontal portion hit Unit 2’s rear portion. Unit 2 was subsequently pushed into the driver’s side of Unit 3. Operator 1, the sole Occupant of Unit 1, did not sustain any injuries as a result of this crash. Operator 2 and Passenger 1, Occupants of Unit 2, did not sustain any injuries as a result of this crash. Passenger 2, Occupant of Unit 2, was transported to the Hershey Medical Center to treat suspected minor injuries. Operator 3 and its Passengers did not sustain any injuries as a result of this crash. This portion of SR 22 was closed until 3:45 p.m. Unit 1 and Unit 2 were towed by Motter’s Towing. PSP Jonestown was assisted on scene by Northern Lebanon Fire and Life Lion EMS. No names are being released as the investigation is still ongoing.

Vehicle Accident – On March 2, 2021 at 5:42 a.m., this crash occurred as Unit 1, a 2005 Chrysler Crossfire, driven by Operator 1, a 51 year old Steelton man, was traveling north in the parking lot of the property in the 500 block of Old Forge Rd. in Union Twp. Unit 2, a 2011 Kia Optima, driven by Operator 2, a 29 year old Harrisburg man, was waiting in a line of vehicles to exit the parking lot when Unit 1 struck the rear of Unit 2. Unit 1 sustained disabling damage to the front of the vehicle. Unit 2 sustained minor damage to the rear of the vehicle. Unit 1 was towed from the scene. Operator 1 was transported from the scene by EMS to the Hershey Medical Center. Operator 2 did not sustain any injuries as a result of this crash. PSP Jonestown was assisted on scene by Life Lion EMS and Motter’s Towing. Operator 1 was cited for Careless Driving.
