Bethel Township

Theft – On Feb. 26, 2021 at approximately 7:27 a.m., troopers from PSP Jonestown were dispatched to Beagle Rd. to investigate a theft by deception-related incident. Through further investigation, troopers learned that an unidentified Suspect used the Victim’s identity to open a Verizon wireless account in her name. PSP Jonestown is currently investigating. The Victim was a 71 year old Myerstown woman. The stolen property included a Verizon Account In Victim’s Name, valued at $0.00.

Vehicle Accident – On March 1, 2021 at 11:55 p.m., this crash occurred on the 300 block of West Main St. in Bethel Twp. Unit 1, a 2005 Infiniti G35, driven by Operator 1, an 18 year old Lebanon woman, accompanied by Passenger 1, a 20 year old Carlisle man, was traveling east in the right lane of West Main St. Unit 1 hit a patch of black ice on West Main St. and traversed across the left lane and onto the left shoulder off the roadway. Unit 1 then traversed through a grassy area where it struck a ditch, overturned, and came to final rest on the roof. Unit 1 was disabled from the crash and was towed from the scene by Joe May’s Towing. Operator 1 was not injured as a result of this crash.

Cornwall Borough

Vehicle Accident, Deer Struck – Unit 1, driven by Operator 1, a 50 year old Cornwall man, struck a deer on March 7, 2021 at 7:57 p.m. on Rexmont Rd. at Lynch Dr. No injuries were reported as a result of this crash. Unit 1 was drivable from the scene. The deer had to be destroyed.

Vehicle Accident – On March 5, 2021 at 4:17 p.m., this crash occurred on Burd Coleman Rd. Unit 1, driven by Operator 1, a 66 year old Lebanon man, was traveling on Burd Coleman Rd., when his passenger door mirror struck the driver’s side mirror of Unit 2, a parked vehicle, owned by Operator 2, a Lebanon woman.

Vehicle Accident – On March 8, 2021 at 1:40 p.m., this crash occurred at the Cornwall Center intersection. Unit 1, driven by Operator 1, a 72 year old Lebanon woman, and Unit 2, driven by Operator 2, an 18 year old Lebanon woman, were involved in this crash. No injuries were reported as a result of this crash. Both vehicles were driveable.

Heidelberg Township

Vehicle Accident – On March 1, 2021 at 11:00 p.m., this crash occurred on SR 501 at its intersection with Michters Rd. in Heidelberg Twp. This crash occurred as Unit 1, a 2005 Ford Explorer, driven by Operator 1, a 34 year old Newmanstown woman, was traveling north on Michters Rd. and ran the stop sign at the intersection. Unit 1 continued through the intersection and exited SR 501 on the north side. Unit 1 suffered disabling damage and came to final rest in a farm field. Operator 1 sustained suspected minor injuries but was not transported. Operator 1 fled the scene of the crash. Subsequent interviews determined the identity of the Operator, who was cited with numerous traffic violations. Operator 1 was cited for Driving on Roadways Laned for Traffic.

Jackson Township

Vehicle Accident – On March 10, 2021 at 12:51 a.m., this crash occurred on North Locust St., just north of McKinley Ave. in Jackson Twp. This crash occurred as Operator 1, a 23 year old Myerstown man, was traveling north on North Locust St. in Unit 1, a 2012 Hyundai Sonata. Operator 1 fell asleep and failed to negotiate a right curve in the roadway. Unit 1 subsequently crossed over the southbound travel lane and shoulder of North Locust St., before striking a tree beyond the southbound shoulder of North Locust St. Unit 1 sustained heavy and disabling damage to its front bumper, hood, and engine compartment at the 12 o’clock position and was towed from the scene by Workman’s Towing. Operator 1 sustained no injuries as a result of this crash. Operator 1 was cited for Driving on Roadways Laned for Traffic.

Theft Items From Motor Vehicle – On March 8, 2021 at 4:37 p.m., the Victim walked into PSP Jonestown to report her insurance card was missing from her vehicle. An unknown Actor is believed to have removed the insurance card from the unlocked vehicle of the Victim prior to fleeing in an unknown direction by an unknown means of travel. The Victim was a 26 year old Myerstown woman. PSP Jonestown is investigating.

Jonestown Borough

Drug Possession, Drug Sale – On March 8, 2021 at 10:05 a.m., PSP responded to the 00 block of South Lancaster St. in Jonestown Boro. for a report of a trespassing. Upon investigation, it was discovered that the Arrestee, B/H-M, a 24 year old, was found to be in possession of 187 round blue pills labeled “M/30” of suspected fentanyl pills, THC wax, marijuana, related paraphernalia, and a Taurus TH9 9mm pistol. The Subject was placed into custody, transported to PSP Jonestown station, where charges were prepared and ultimately transported to Lebanon County Central Booking. The Arrestee was a 24 year old Lebanon man. PSP is investigating.

Myerstown Borough

Vehicle Accident – On March 8, 2021 at 8:54 p.m., this crash occurred as Unit 1, a 2012 Nissan Juke (S,L,SV), driven by Operator 1, was legally parked in front of the residence, located on the 00 block of South Cherry St. in Myerstown Boro. Unit 1 was occupied by Operator 1 when this crash occurred. Operator 2 was attempting to parallel park Unit 2, a 2014 Mazda CX-5, behind Unit 1. As Unit 2 was backing up, Unit 2 sideswiped Unit 1’s driver’s side. Unit 1 sustained no damages. Unit 2 sustained scratches to the rear driver’s side door and quarter panel. Both Operator 1 and Operator 2 were wearing their seatbelts at the time of this crash and reported no injuries. No airbags were deployed as a result of this crash. Both Operators were issued a Non-reportable Drivers Exchange Report and an Application to Receive a Copy of the Crash Report (SP 7-20015TX) on scene.

Vehicle Accident – On Feb. 26, 2021 at 11:26 p.m., this non-reportable crash occurred on the 00 block of West Main Ave. in Myerstown Boro. Unit 1, a black four-door sedan, driven by Operator 1, was traveling west in the right lane of West Main Ave. Unit 1 sideswiped Unit 2, a 2017 Toyota Corolla, driven by Operator 2, a 26 year old Myerstown woman, as it was stationary on the right shoulder. Unit 1 re-entered the roadway and continued westbound to an unknown location. No injuries were reported as a result of this crash.

Theft – On March 10, 2021 at approximately 2:54 p.m., State Police responded to North Railroad St. for a report of a theft. Through investigation, it was discovered that an unknown individual(s) entered the above residence sometime between Jan. 1, 2020 and March 10, 2021. The unknown individual(s) removed an air compressor, two air compressor hoses, and a propane tank. The unknown individual(s) then fled the scene in an unknown direction by unknown means of travel. The Victim was a 60 year old Sugar Creek, OH woman. The stolen property included a Blue Harbor Freight Air Compressor, valued at $125.00, Red And Blue Air Compressor Hoses, valued at $40.00, and a Gas Grill Propane Tank, valued at $45.00.

North Lebanon Township

Drug Possession – On March 7, 2021 at 11:30 p.m., a traffic stop conducted by members of PSP Jonestown on East Cumberland St. and North 15th Ave. yielded the seizure of controlled substances and additional drug paraphernalia.

North Londonderry Township

Retail Theft – On Feb. 13, 2021 at 1:49 p.m., North Londonderry Twp. police have cited Liz Rivera-Nevarez, a 31 year old Lebanon resident, with Retail Theft after investigating a report filed by Wal-Mart, located at 100 North Londonderry Sq. in Palmyra. Rivera-Nevarez failed to scan and pay for items valued at $47.18 on Feb. 13, 2021.

PFA Violation – On March 9, 2021 at 3:00 p.m., Devin Deyorio, a 30 year old Highspire resident, was arrested and charged with a PFA violation after he went to a 30 year old woman’s residence, in violation of the court order. Deyorio was taken to Central Booking for arraignment.

Vehicle Accident – On March 9, 2021 at 2:34 p.m., North Londonderry Twp. police have cited Operator 1, a 43 year old Palmyra man, with Driving Vehicle at Safe Speed following an accident on West Main St. and Wal-Mart Dr. that resulted from Hilton not being able to stop his vehicle in time before striking another vehicle. Operator 2, an 81 year old Annville man, was involved in this crash.

Swatara Township

Vehicle Accident – On Feb. 22, 2021 at 9:42 a.m., this crash occurred on I 81 South at mile marker 92.3 in Swatara Twp. This crash occurred as Unit 1, a 2016 FTL, driven by Operator 1, a 29 year old Albemarle, NC man, was traveling south at excessive speeds for snowy conditions. Unit 1 then impacted the rear end of Unit 2, a 2020 Ford SUV, driven by Operator 2, a 73 year old Rome, NY man, in the roadway. Unit 2 then hit the guide rail and came to final rest on the shoulder. Unit 1 continued south and struck the rear end of Unit 3, a 2020 Freightliner TT, driven by Operator 3, a 33 year old Baltimore, MD man. Unit 1 then jackknifed and struck an embankment, blocking both lanes of I 81 South. Unit 3 came to final rest in the travel lanes. There were no injuries as a result of this crash. Unit 1 was towed from the scene by Hammer’s Towing. Unit 2 was towed by Motter’s Towing. I 81 South was closed at mile marker 100 for approximately three hours as the scene was cleared. Operator 1 was cited for Driving Vehicle at Safe Speed and Roadways Laned for Traffic.

West Cornwall Township

Harassment – An 18 year old York woman has been charged for an incident on Feb. 16, 2021 at 5:30 a.m., involving a 37 year old woman at WellSpan Philhaven, located at 283 South Butler Rd.

Harassment – A 17 year old West Cornwall Twp. male has been charged for an incident on Feb. 20, 2021 at 5:46 p.m. for posting on social media a threatening photo directed at Cornwall-Lebanon School District students of a subject holding a lookalike machine gun with the orange tip cropped off and a caption reading “coming to a school near you.” Charges were filed with the Lebanon County Juvenile Probation Department.

Union Township

Vehicle Accident – On March 7, 2021 at 12:29 a.m., this crash occurred on Bordnersville Rd., just south of Fisher Ave., in Union Twp. This crash occurred as Operator 1 was negotiating a left turn in Unit 1, a 2016 Freightliner Cascadia, a semi tractor-trailer, to travel south from Fisher Ave. onto Bordnersville Rd. At this intersection are properly posted signs, prohibiting such vehicles from traveling on Bordnersville Rd. The trailing portion of Unit 1 struck a Met-Ed utility pole and the wires from the utility pole became entangled along the trailing portion of Unit 1. The damaged utility pole fell into and damaged the residence on the 200 block of Bordnersville Rd. As Unit 1 proceeded south on Bordnersville Rd., the wires from the utility pole were pulled down, further damaging two additional utility poles and two additional residential structures. Unit 1 sustained no damage as a result of this crash, while the trailing portion of Unit 1 sustained mild damage to its passenger’s side trailer and axle at the 3 o’clock position. Both Unit 1 and the trailing portion of Unit 1 were able to be driven from the scene in their normal customary manner. Operator 1 sustained no injuries as a result of this crash. Operator 1 has been cited for Obedience to Traffic-Control Devices.

Vehicle Accident – On March 8, 2021 at 4:28 p.m., this single-vehicle crash occurred as Unit 1, a 2019 Buick Lacrosse, driven by Operator 1, a 57 year old Harrisburg man, was traveling westbound on SR 22 in Union Twp., just west of Maple Ln. A deer jumped over the cement barrier of SR 22 Westbound from the left side of the roadway and landed on the windshield and roof of Unit 1. Unit 1 sustained disabling damage to its front windshield and roof. Operator 1 was no injured as a result of this crash. Unit 1 was towed away from the scene by Joe May’s Towing Company. Operator 1 was cited for Driving Vehicle at Safe Speed.
