DHL, an international shipping company, submitted land development plans for two warehouses to South Lebanon Township on Dec. 28.

DHL plans to build on 3000 State Drive in Lebanon, the former Alcoa plant site. As of now, the property is still owned by Lotus Land LLC and is not possessed by DHL.

“As the plan is still in the comment phase, it is too early to comment on the construction and completion,” Jamie Yiengst, the South Lebanon township manager, said.

The site is currently being used for tractor trailer storage. Yiengst also believes it is a pipeline staging area. There is little other information to be found about Lotus Land LLC and its current use of 3000 State Drive.

Corporate registration for the firm indicates that it was originally formed as a single member Pennsylvania Limited Liability Company by P. Henry Yingst in August 2005 before being reorganized in January 2019 with Joel Christianson as the new single member of the LLC. Property records indicate that the firm acquired the 121-acre property in 2007 for $250,000.

When asked to share more information, DHL responded with the following:

“At this time, we do not have any information to share regarding investment in the Lebanon, PA region. Westerville, OH based DHL Supply Chain is a logistics leader that prides itself on providing customers with real estate solutions by designing, implementing and operating warehouse and distribution facilities tailored to a customer’s business needs.”

More information will hopefully follow after DHL acquires the property and plans are approved.
