Bethel Township

Theft – On March 18, 2021 at approximately 5:59 p.m., troopers from PSP Jonestown were dispatched to the 00 block of Elm Ave. in Bethel Twp. for an identity theft. Through further investigation, troopers learned that the Victim’s identity was used to open an unemployment account in the state of Maryland. PSP Jonestown is currently investigating. The Victim was a 51 year old Fredericksburg man. The stolen property included an Identity Was Stolen For Unemployment Account.

City of Lebanon

Public Drunkenness – A 55 year old Lebanon man has been cited for Public Drunkenness on March 15, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. at North 1st St. and Weidman St.

Harassment – A 37 year old Lebanon man has been cited for Harassment on March 13, 2021 at 10:25 p.m. on the 100 block of Lebanon Village.

Criminal Trespass – A 26 year old Lebanon woman has been cited for Criminal Trespass on March 11, 2021 at 12:06 a.m. on the 500 block of Weidman St.

Public Drunkenness – A 24 year old Lebanon man has been cited for Public Drunkenness on March 12, 2021 at 3:10 p.m. on the 300 block of North 7th St.

Possession With Intent To Distribute A Controlled Substance – Charges of Possession With Intent to Distribute a Controlled Substance, Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia have been filed against Matthew Breitner, a 30 year old Lebanon resident, after contact with police on Feb. 28, 2021 at 9:46 a.m. on the 200 block of Van Buren St. Breitner was incarcerated at LCCF on a Lebanon County Bench Warrant at the time of the incident.

Drug Possession, Windshield Obstructions – Charges of Possession of a Small Amount of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Windshield Obstructions has been filed against Quamir Parker, an 18 year old Annville resident, after a traffic stop on Feb. 7, 2021 at 8:26 p.m. on the 400 block of Chestnut St. As a result of the same stop charges of Possession of a Small Amount of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia have been filed against Dominick Peraza, an 18 year old Annville resident.

Escape, Driving While Operating Privilege Is Suspended Or Revoked – Charges of Escape and Driving While Operating Privilege is Suspended or Revoked (DUI related) have been filed against Timothy Johnson, a 50 year old Lebanon resident, after a traffic stop on Feb. 28, 2021 at 8:18 p.m. at Decatur St. and Mifflin St. Police allege Johnson ran from a traffic stop only to be apprehended by police within a short distance from the vehicle. He was incarcerated at LCCF the day of the incident on a Parole Detainer.

Escape, Drug Possession, Tampering With Or Fabricating Physical Evidence, Theft – Gabrel Colon, an 18 year old Lebanon resident, has been charged with Escape, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Tampering With or Fabricating Physical Evidence, and Theft after a traffic stop on March 11, 2021 at 2:13 p.m. at 12th St. and Cumberland St. Colon was the Passenger of a vehicle stopped by police for suspecting the Operator to be under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance. Police allege Colon swallowed suspected marijuana and was subsequently handcuffed and detained in the backseat of a police vehicle. Police had the window down to provide air circulation for Colon as they began to deal with the suspected DUI Operator. While distracted by the actions of the Operator, police allege Colon slipped the handcuffs to the front of his body, slipped one wrist from the handcuff, opened the rear door by reaching through the security bars, and fled from the scene. Police apprehended Colon when he returned to his home about two hours later. He was still wearing the handcuffs on one wrist. He was transported to LCCB and arraigned before MDJ John Ditzler. Colon was incarcerated at LCCF in lieu of $10,000 bail. DUI charges are pending against the 36 year old Lebanon woman.

PFA Order Violation – Erica Cruz, a 32 year old Lebanon resident, has been charged with a Protection From Abuse Order violation on March 10, 2021 at 4:29 p.m. on the 700 block of Hanover St. Police allege Cruz made verbal contact with the 35 year old Victim, knowing she was not permitted to have contact with him. Cruz was released on ROR bail.

Arrest Prior To Requisition – Carlos Perez, a 43 year old Lebanon resident, has been charged with Arrest Prior to Requisition (Fugitive From Justice) after contact with police on March 10, 2021 at 3:30 p.m. on the 400 block of North 7th St. Police were assisting Lebanon City Public Safety at a condemned property and had contact with Perez at that property. Police discovered that Perez had a warrant for his arrest from the PA State Police. He was apprehended and transported to LCCB. A subsequent fingerprint processing discovered that Perez was wanted by the New York Police Department for a homicide. The warrant from NYPD was issued on April 19, 1996. Perez has several aliases to his fingerprints. He was arraigned before MDJ John Ditzler and incarcerated at LCCF with no bail due to the homicide warrant.

Possession With Intent To Deliver A Controlled Substance, Drug Possession – Corey Urena, a 20 year old Lebanon resident, has been charged with Possession With Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of a Small Amount of Marijuana, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia after being found unconscious in a parked vehicle on March 6, 2021 at 1:34 p.m. at C & L St. and Gannon St. Urena was transported to LCCB and arraigned before MDJ Carl Garver. He was incarcerated at LCCF in lieu of $25,000 bail.

Fleeing Or Attempting To Elude An Officer, Careless Driving, Duties At Stop Signs – Matthew Nieves, Jr., a 19 year old Lebanon resident, has been charged with Fleeing or Attempting to Elude an Officer, Careless Driving, Duties at Stop Signs, and Driving While License is Suspended or Revoked after an incident on Feb. 21, 2021 at 2:40 p.m. at South 5th St. and Locust St. Police were dispatched to assist Lebanon County Probation Officers as they were following a vehicle being driven by a person they knew to have a warrant for his arrest, Nieves, Jr. Police attempted to stop Nieves, Jr.; however, Nieves, Jr. fled from police. Due to the carelessness of Nieves, Jr.’s driving, police discontinued the pursuit. A warrant for the above listed charges was secured and served on March 15, 2021 and transported to LCCB. He was arraigned before MDJ Kim Wolfe and incarcerated at LCCF in lieu of $50,000 bail.

Theft – A charge of Theft has been filed against Melissa Risser, a 33 year old Lebanon resident, after an investigation into four separate incidents of theft on Feb. 23, 2021, March 1, 2021, March 8, 2021, and March 10, 2021 on the 800 block of South 12th St. Total loss to the merchant is $161.47.

DUI – A charge of Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol has been filed against Oshual Rodriguez-Cruz, a 29 year old Lebanon resident, after a traffic stop on Feb. 13, 2021 at 1:44 a.m. on the 700 block of Walnut St. Police allege his BAC was .192% at the time of the incident.

Attempted Burglary, Possession Of Instruments Of Crime, Criminal Mischief – Charges of Attempted Burglary, Possession of Instruments of Crime, Criminal Mischief, and Corruption of Minors have been filed against Reinaldo Quesada, a 19 year old Lebanon resident, and charges of Loitering or Prowling at Nighttime, Possessing Instruments of Crime, Curfew, Attempted Burglary, and Criminal Mischief have been filed against a 17 year old Lebanon male after an incident on March 3, 2021 at 3:05 a.m. on the 300 block of Cumberland St. Police were dispatched to the 700 block of Cumberland St. for suspicious persons. Police were able to apprehend two subjects, Quesada and the juvenile male. The juvenile male attempting to secrete himself on a side second-story porch of a residence on the 00 block of North 8th St. The damage to a store on the 300 block of Cumberland St. was reported to police at 7:53 a.m. Video surveillance confirmed the two attempted to gain entry into the story by causing damage to a window. Charges were filed at the completion of the investigation.

East Hanover Township

Drug Possession – On March 10, 2021 at 3:26 p.m., at Allentown Blvd. and Bull Frog Rd., PSP Jonestown conducted a traffic stop. A Passenger in the vehicle was found to be in possession of marijuana. Charges are to be filed. The vehicles involved included a 2019 Volkswagen Jetta.

Vehicle Accident – On March 18, 2021 at 2:07 p.m., this crash occurred as Unit 1, a 2018 Volvo XC90, driven by Operator 1, was traveling southbound on I 81 near mile marker 81.8 in East Hanover Twp. Unit 1 was traveling in the lefthand lane when Unit 1’s tires lost contact with the wet road surface, causing Operator 1 to lose control of Unit 1. Unit 1 exited the roadway from the south shoulder, where it hit a guide rail. Upon impact, Unit 1 was able to continue safely across both travel lanes and onto the north shoulder, where it came to its position of final rest. Unit 1 sustained damage to its driver’s side. Operator 1 was wearing a seatbelt when this crash occurred and reported no injuries. No airbags were deployed as a result of this crash. Unit 1 was drivable; however, it was towed from the scene by Motter’s Towing, per the request of Operator 1. PennDOT was notified of the damage to the guide rail. PSP Jonestown was assisted on scene by Motter’s Towing.

Vehicle Accident – On March 15, 2021 at 9:46 a.m., this two-vehicle crash occurred as Unit 1, a 2019 Mack Trucks Cement Truck, driven by Operator 1, a 53 year old Newport man, was exiting SR 22 Eastbound and entering the offramp for SR 934. Unit 1 under-compensated for the turn, striking Unit 2, a 2007 Ford F-150XLT, driven by Operator 2, a 17 year old Camp Hill male. After striking Unit 2, Unit 1 continued to travel into the opposing travel lane and roll over into the guide rail on the opposing side of the ramp. Unit 1 came to its position of final rest off of the lefthand side of the roadway on the guide rail. Unit 2 came to a controlled final rest. Operator 1 sustained suspected minor injury as a result of this crash and was transported via Life Lion for further evaluation. Operator 2 sustained no injuries as a result of this crash. Operator 1 was cited for Driving Vehicle at Safe Speed.

Jackson Township

Vehicle Accident – On Feb. 28, 2021 at 5:24 p.m., this single-vehicle crash occurred on Stracks Dam Rd. at its intersection with Violet Ln., just west of the 500 block of Stracks Dam Rd. in Jackson Twp. This crash occurred as Unit 1, a 2003 Volkswagen Jetta, driven by Operator 1, a 24 year old Lebanon man, was traveling northeast on Violet Ln. Operator 1 failed to negotiate a right turn onto Stracks Dam Rd. and drove straight across Stracks Dam Rd. into a rock-filled ditch off of the shoulder of Stracks Dam Rd. Unit 1 sustained minor damage to its frontend. Operator 1 was not injured as a result of this crash and related that he was not wearing his safety belt at the time of this crash. Operator 1 was cited for Driving While Operating Privilege is Suspended or Revoked.

DUI – On Feb. 28, 2021 at approximately 5:24 p.m., PSP Jonestown troopers responded to the 500 block of Stracks Dam Rd. in Jackson Twp. for a report of a crash. Investigation revealed that the Operator of the vehicle was suspected to be driving under the influence of a controlled substance. The Arrestee was a 24 year old Lebanon man. The vehicles involved included a 2003 Volkswagen Jetta. PSP is investigating.

Vehicle Accident – On March 9, 2021 at 1:36 p.m., this crash occurred as Unit 1, a 2007 Toyota RAV4, driven by Operator 1, a 35 year old Reading woman, accompanied by Passenger 1, a 52 year old Reading woman, was traveling eastbound in the lefthand turning lane of East Lincoln Ave., nearing its intersection with Millardsville Rd. Unit 2, a 2012 Ford Focus, driven by Operator 2, a 19 year old Pine Grove woman, accompanied by Passenger 2, a 91 year old Myerstown woman, was traveling west on East Lincoln Ave., before making a lefthand turn, heading south on Millardsville Rd. Operator 1, for an unknown reason, exited the turning lane and crossed over the eastbound travel lanes, where impact occurred between the frontend of Unit 1 and the passenger’s side of Unit 2. After impact, Unit 1 was forced in a west direction where it came to its position of final rest in the southbound lane of Millardsville Rd. Unit 2 came to its position of final rest in the northbound lane of Millardsville Rd. Both Operator 1 and Operator 2 and both Passenger 1 and Passenger 2 were wearing seatbelts at the time of this crash. The front driver’s side airbag was deployed in Unit 1. The side airbags were deployed in Unit 2. Operator 1 and Passenger 1 sustained minor injuries as a result of this crash and were transported via the Myerstown First Aid Unit to Reading Hospital for further evaluation. Operator 2 and Passenger 2 sustained no injuries as a result of this crash. Both Unit 1 and Unit 2 were towed from the scene by CJ Wagner’s Towing. PSP Jonestown was assisted on scene by the Keystone Hook & Ladder Co., the Lebanon Co. Fire/Police, the Myerstown First Aid Unit, and CJ Wagner’s Towing. Operator 1 was cited for Driving on Roadways Laned for Traffic.

Myerstown Borough

Vehicle Accident – On March 15, 2021 at 8:03 p.m., this two-vehicle reportable crash occurred on the 200 block of West Maple Ave. in Myerstown Boro. This crash occurred when Operator 1, a 21 year old Myerstown man, accompanied by Passenger 1, a 19 year old Harrisburg woman, and Passenger 2, an 18 year old Annville woman, became distracted and left the roadway. Upon leaving the roadway, Unit 1 hit Unit 2, a 2008 Ford Edge, driven by Operator 2, which was parked at said location. Both Unit 1 and Unit 2 sustained disabling damage and were towed from the scene. The Passengers from Unit 1 reported minor head injuries and related that they would be transporting themselves to the Good Samaritan Hospital. A Driver Exchange Report was provided to all involved parties. Operator 1 was cited for Driving on Roadways Laned for Traffic.

North Lebanon Township

DUI – On March 20, 2021 at 3:00 a.m., troopers of PSP Jonestown station observed a man unresponsive in a vehicle at SR 72 North and Orange St. Upon initial contact with the Operator, it was determined that he was under the influence of alcohol. The Operator was taken into custody for suspicion of DUI and transported to the Good Samaritan Hospital for a blood draw. This investigation is ongoing. The vehicles involved included a 2014 Kia Optima.

North Londonderry Township

Drug Possession, Driving While License Is DUI Suspended, Unlawful Activities – On Dec. 31, 2020 at 9:35 p.m., this incident occurred on Gravel Hill Rd. in Palmyra. North Londonderry Twp. police have charged Rick Auchenbach, a 63 year old Annville resident, with three counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance, two counts of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Driving While License is DUI Suspended, and Unlawful Activities. Auchenbach was found to be in possession of heroin, fentanyl, tramadol, methamphetamine, THC, and drug paraphernalia. His license was also suspended.

South Londonderry Township

Simple Assault, Harassment – On March 10, 2021, the South Londonderry Twp. police were dispatched to the 100 block of North Larkspur Dr. Upon arrival, police were advised of an assault. Witnesses reported that Richie Hench, a 62 year old Palmyra resident, pushed another resident from a chair and onto the floor. Hench then reportedly raised a chair and threw the chair at the resident who was on the floor. Hench was charged with Simple Assault and Harassment.

Union Township

Drug Possession – On Feb. 24, 2021 at 1:01 p.m., troopers conducted a traffic stop at I 78 West. During the traffic stop, troopers located a small amount of marijuana and related paraphernalia. Appropriate charges have been filed. The Arrestee was Brian Gaffney, a 32 year old Acra, NY man. The vehicles involved included a 2020 Nissan Versa.

Arson, Burglary, Theft Of A Motor Vehicle – On March 15, 2021 at 2:20 a.m., PSP Jonestown responded to the Twin Grove campground, located at 1445 Suedberg Rd. in Union Twp., to assist the fire department with a vehicle fire in the front parking lot. While on scene, troopers discovered that a 1964 Chevrolet Corvette had been burned by unknown means. While on scene at the fire, an employee from Joe May’s garage, located at 3031 SR 72 in Union Twp., reported that their impound lot had been broken into and a blue 1964 Chevrolet Corvette had been stolen.

On March 16, 2021, PSP Jonestown began to conduct additional investigations and interviews. A Suspect, Michael Workman, Jr., was identified. Workman, Jr. was interviewed and admitted to participating and planning the burglary and arson with Christopher Donmoyer and Bailey Miller. Donmoyer and Miller were also interviewed and admitted to participating and planning the burglary and arson.

After the interviews of all three Suspects, it was learned that Miller and Donmoyer forced entry into Joe May’s garage impound lot, stole a 1964 Chevrolet Corvette, drove the stolen vehicle for a short distance, parked it at the Twin Grove campground, and fled the area. Workman, Jr. followed behind the stolen vehicle and acted as a “get away” car. Later in the night, the three individuals returned to the Twin Grove campground and ignited a fire inside of the stolen vehicle. The fire department responded and the vehicle was a total loss.

Criminal charges were filed and all three individuals were taken to the Lebanon County Central Booking for arraignment on felony charges of Arson, Burglary, Theft of a Motor Vehicle, and other related charges. All three individuals were given $25,000 monetary bail by MDJ Wolfe. The Arrestees were Michael Workman, Jr., a 32 year old Tremont resident, Christopher Donmoyer, a 21 year old Pinegrove resident, and Bailey Miller, a 22 year old Pinegrove resident.
