City of Lebanon

DUI – On April 10, 2021 at 2:20 a.m., this incident occurred on North 12th St. and Brandywine St. This crime occurred as the Suspect was operating a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol. The vehicles involved included a 2015 Honda Accord Crosstour.

Jackson Township

Vehicle Accident – On April 11, 2021 at 4:30 p.m., this crash occurred as Unit 1, a 2007 Ford Edge, driven by Operator 1, an 83 year old Myerstown woman, was traveling west on East Kercher Ave., turning south on Springhouse Dr., and Unit 2, a 2015 Toyota Camry, driven by Operator 2, a 32 year old Myerstown man, was stopped at a properly posted stop sign at Springhouse Dr., facing north. Unit 1 failed to properly compensate for the turn. Unit 1’s 11 o’clock position then struck Unit 2’s 11 o’clock position. This would be both Unit 1 and Unit 2’s point of initial impact as well as Unit 2’s point of final rest. Unit 1 then continued south and came to its point of final rest. Operator 1 sustained suspected minor injuries and was transported via Myerstown First Aid Unit to the Good Samaritan Hospital. Operator 2 did not sustain injuries as a result of this crash.

Drug Possession – On April 12, 2021 at 2:36 p.m., State Police responded to Evergreen Dr. for drug possession. Through investigation, it was discovered that two juvenile students were in possession of marijuana and tobacco products on school property. The Arrestees were a 14 year old Richland juvenile male and a 14 year old Newmanstown juvenile female. Charges are to be filed.

Vehicle Accident – On April 11, 2021 at 6:58 p.m., this crash occurred as Unit 1, a Nissan 240SX, driven by Operator 1, a 28 year old Richland man, was traveling west on Stracks Dam Rd. Unit 1 failed to negotiate a righthand curve. Unit 1 then left the roadway. Unit 1’s 11 o’clock position then struck a tree to the south of the roadway. This would be Unit 1’s point of initial impact. Unit 1 then fled the scene, traveling west on Stracks Dam Rd. No medical attention was required as a result of this crash. No tows were needed. Operator 1 was cited for Driving on Roadways Laned for Traffic.

Myerstown Borough

Vehicle Accident – On April 11, 2021 at 3:02 p.m., this crash occurred as Unit 1, a 2020 Mercedes Benz GL63 AMG, driven by Operator 1, a 74 year old Stouchsburg man, was traveling east on West Lincoln Ave., turning into the left turn lane. Unit 2, a 2008 Saturn Vue, driven by Operator 2, a 37 year old Lebanon woman, and Unit 3, a 2019 Chevrolet Silverado, driven by Operator 3, a 63 year old Wormleysburg man, accompanied by Passenger 1, a 58 year old Wormleysburg woman, were stopped for a red light in the left turn lane on West Lincoln Ave. Unit 1 failed to properly slow and yield while entering the turn lane. Unit 1’s 11 o’clock position then struck Unit 2’s 5 o’clock position. This would be both Unit 1 and Unit 2’s point of initial impact as well as Unit 2’s point of final rest. Unit 1 then continued east on West Lincoln Ave. Unit 1’s 5 o’clock position then struck Unit 3’s 5 o’clock position. Unit 3 then spun approximately 90 degrees, ending facing south. This would be Unit 3’s point of final rest. Unit 1 then came to final rest, facing northeast. All Units required towing. Operator 1, Operator 2, and Operator 3 were not injured as a result of this crash. Passenger 1 required medical attention for minor neck pain. Passenger 1 sustained suspected minor injuries and was transported via Myerstown First Aid Unit to the Good Samaritan Hospital. Operator 1 was cited for Driving on Roadways Laned for Traffic. Operator 2 was cited for Carrying and Exhibiting Driver’s License on Demand.

North Lebanon Township

DUI – Francisco Adorno-Santiago, a 34 year old Harrisburg resident, was charged with Driving Under the Influence, after striking several mailboxes and leaving the scene of an accident in the 300 block of Ebenezer Rd. on Jan. 8, 2021.

Drug Possession – Kyanna Rolon-Thomas, a 26 year old Lebanon resident, was charged with Possession of Marijuana and Drug Paraphernalia after an incident that occurred in the 1,000 block of Kathleen St. on March 18, 2021.

North Londonderry Township

Recklessly Endangering Another Person, Public Drunkenness – On April 10, 2021 at 2:00 p.m., Charles College, a 66 year old Palmyra resident, was charged with Recklessly Endangering Another Person and Public Drunkenness after police responded to his residence, located on the 1,000 block of Cambridge Ct. in Palmyra, and determined that College had discharged a 9mm handgun from inside of his residence to the outside. Police were able to determine that the bullet struck a tree outside of College’s residence. College was taken to Central Booking for arraignment and was placed in the Lebanon County Correctional Facility in lieu of $15,000 bail.

Retail Theft – On April 11, 2021 at 8:35 p.m., this incident occurred at Wal-Mart. Upon completion of an investigation, Lester Shank, a 46 year old Lebanon resident, was charged with two counts of Retail Theft, after failing to pay for merchandise at Wal-Mart. Shank took items valued at $160.00.

Harassment – On April 5, 2021 at 3:35 p.m., this incident occurred on the 1,200 block of South Duke St. North Londonderry Twp. police have cited a 26 year old Palmyra woman with Harassment, following an incident in which she slapped a 17 year old juvenile male in the face during an argument in the 1,200 block of South Duke St. in Palmyra.

Vehicle Accident – On April 11, 2021 at 7:39 a.m., police responded to the area that this crash occurred in the 700 block of North Forge Rd. Unit 1, driven by Operator 1, an 18 year old Lebanon resident, left the roadway and drove into a ditch. Unit 1 required towing and was not driven from the scene due to undercarriage damage. No injuries were reported as a result of this crash. Operator 1 was cited for Driving on Roadways Laned for Traffic.

Retail Theft – This incident occurred at Wal-Mart, located at 100 North Londonderry Sq. in Palmyra. A 39 year old Jonestown woman was charged with Retail Theft that was reported by the Wal-Mart Loss Prevention Officer. It was reported that on April 11, 2021 at approximately 1:45 p.m., the woman entered the self-checkout register and failed to scan multiple items. The total amount that was not scanned was $58.36. She failed to pay for the items before leaving the store. The summary citation was filed with DJ Garver’s office.

Swatara Township

Vehicle Accident – On April 12, 2021 at 11:57 a.m., this collision occurred as Unit 1, an unknown make and model, driven by Operator 1, was traveling south on SR 72 when Operator 1 failed to negotiate a right curve. Unit 1 traveled off of the right shoulder and struck a sign. After impact, Unit 1 fled the scene. Operator 1 was cited for Driving on Roadways Laned for Traffic. Union Township

Vehicle Accident – On April 11, 2021 at 2:15 p.m., this reportable crash occurred as Unit 1, a 2003 Ford Ranger, driven by Operator 1, a 30 year old Houston, TX man, was attempting to merge onto I 81 South at the entrance ramp at mile marker 90.3 in Union Twp. Unit 1 was attempting to merge onto I 81 South when he overcompensated his turn and lost control of Unit 1. Unit 1 traveled out of the travel lanes of the entrance ramp and struck the concrete barrier on the right side of the roadway. Initial impact occurred as the front right bumper of Unit 1 struck the concrete barrier. Unit 1 came to final rest facing north on the shoulder and partially in the travel lane of the entrance ramp. Unit 1 was towed from the scene. No injuries were reported as a result of this crash. Operator 1 was cited for Driving on Roadways Laned for Traffic.
