May 29, Coleman Memorial Park’s bike track will be open to the public for the 2021 season. The park officially opens for the season 9 a.m. at 1400 W. Maple St.

The Susquehanna Area Mountain Biking Association (SAMBA) first began work on the balance track (for toddlers on balance bikes), pump track (for beginnner riders), and jump track (for advanced riders) last year. The attraction was first opened for 2020 in October.

In preparation for the 2021 season, SAMBA has enhanced the pump track and extended the jump track, according to the Facebook Page for the opening event.

SAMBA’s official Instagram account promoted the 2021 opening with a photo of the track in use.

The track, located near the park’s tennis courts, is free to use at bikers’ own risk, with helmets required for all riders. Starting May 29, it will be open every day from dawn to dusk until the end of the season.
