East Hanover Township

Vehicle Accident – On May 26, 2021 at 11:41 a.m., this crash occurred as Unit 1, a 2012 Ford Mustang, driven by Operator 1, was stopped at a stop sign on Ft. Harrison School Rd., preparing to cross over/through the intersection with Allentown Blvd., to continue in a north direction. Unit 2, a 2019 Freightliner Cascadia, driven by Operator 2, was traveling east on Allentown Blvd., approaching the intersection with Ft. Harrison School Rd. Unit 1 pulled out from the stop sign, and into the eastbound lane of Allentown Blvd., where impact occurred between the front end of Unit 1 and the passenger’s side of Unit 2’s trailing unit. Unit 1 came to its position of final rest where impact had occurred. After impact, Unit 2 pulled onto the south shoulder of Allentown Blvd. Unit 1 sustained damage to its front end. No damages were observed to Unit 2. Both Operators were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash and reported no injuries as a result of the crash.

Jackson Township

Terroristic Threats – On May 26, 2021 at 2:29 p.m., PSP Jonestown responded to Evergreen Dr. for a report of an incident involving multiple juveniles at school. PSP Jonestown is investigating.

Theft Disposition Of Funds – On May 26, 2021 at 5:46 p.m., PSP Jonestown responded to the 300 block of West Lincoln Ave. for a report of a scam of the Victim’s funds. Investigation revealed that an individual only known as Brian Wells, who is affiliated with an unknown government agency, had contacted the Victim and advised him to obtain $2,000 in Target gift cards, so the government could seize his bank accounts. The Victim was a 39 year old Myerstown man. PSP Jonestown is investigating.

Myerstown Borough

Vehicle Accident – On May 13, 2021 at 11:23 p.m., this crash occurred as Operator 1, a 17 year old Newmanstown male, was traveling west on West Lincoln Ave. in Unit 1, a 2012 Chevrolet Volt. As Operator 1 approached South College St., he entered the left turn lane of West Lincoln Ave., before turning left and attempting to travel south on South College St. Operator 2, an 18 year old Newmanstown woman, was traveling east on West Lincoln Ave. in Unit 2, a 2011 Ford Focus, and attempted to proceed through the intersection as a steady green light was displayed on the traffic signal. Operator 1 directed Unit 1 directly into the travel path of Unit 2 and was subsequently struck by Unit 2. After being struck by Unit 2, Unit 1 spun clockwise before coming to final rest, facing east on the right shoulder of the eastbound travel lane of West Lincoln Ave. Unit 1 was observed to have sustained heavy and disabling damage to its rear passenger’s side portion at the 4 o’clock position. Operator 1 sustained no injuries as a result of this crash. After striking Unit 1, Unit 2 proceeded east through the intersection on West Lincoln Ave., before coming to final rest, facing east along the right shoulder of the eastbound travel lane of West Lincoln Ave. Unit 2 was observed to have sustained heavy and disabling damage to its front end at the 12 o’clock position. Operator 2 suspected sustained minor injuries to her hands as a result of this crash. Both Unit 1 and Unit 2 were towed from the scene by RJ Sells Towing. Operator 1 was cited for Turning Movements and Required Signals.

Theft From Person – On May 26, 2021 at approximately 7:41 p.m., PSP Jonestown responded to the 400 block of West Main Ave. for a report of a “well pump puller” being stolen from the property of the Victim. Investigation revealed that an unknown Actor(s) removed the well pump puller from outside of the garage of the Victim, located on North Race St. between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. The unknown Actor(s) subsequently fled in an unknown direction by an unknown means of travel. The Victim was a 51 year old Myerstown man. PSP Jonestown is investigating.

North Lebanon Township

Drug Possession – Edwin Miranda-Rodriguez, a 36 year old Jonestown resident, was charged with Possession of Marijuana after a vehicle stop on May 12, 2021 at Route 72 and North 22nd St. in Lebanon.

Retail Theft – Robert Hawkins, a 62 year old Lebanon resident, was charged with two counts of Retail Theft after failing to pay for merchandise at the Lebanon Wal-Mart on May 9, 2021 and May 13, 2021, totaling $461.00.

Possession With Intent To Deliver, False Identification To Law Enforcement – Brandon Sweigart, a 29 year old Lebanon resident, was charged with Possession with Intent to Deliver, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and False Identification to Law Enforcement after a traffic stop on May 19, 2021 at Route 422 and Narrows Dr.

Theft – Edwin Santiago-Irizarry, a 40 year old Lebanon resident, was charged with Theft of a Vehicle after an incident that occurred on May 12, 2021 on the 1,100 block of East Lehman St. in Lebanon.

Drug Possession – Pedro Rivera-Lopez, a 20 year old New York, NY resident, was charged with Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia after an incident that occurred in the 1,700 block of Route 72 in Lebanon.

North Londonderry Township

Theft – On May 24, 2021 at 10:44 a.m., Roto-Rooter reported catalytic converters were removed from three of their work vehicles. The incident took place on May 23, 2021 sometime between 12:33 a.m. and 12:46 a.m at Roto-Rooter, located at 1308 East Main St. in Lebanon. The total loss value was $1,275.00.

Theft – On May 25, 2021 at 8:15 a.m., Lebanon Valley Mobile Homes, located at 1341 East Main St. in Lebanon, reported catalytic converters were removed from three of their work vehicles. The incident is believed to have taken place on May 23, 2021 sometime after 12:30 a.m. The total loss value is unknown.

Swatara Township

Vehicle Accident – On May 23, 2021 at 5:53 p.m., this reportable crash occurred on the 00 block of Greble Rd., just east of its intersection with Old Route 22 in Swatara Twp. Unit 1, a red 2012 Chevrolet Cruze, driven by Operator 1, Michael Leedy, a 44 year old Grantville man, was traveling east in the right lane of Greble Rd. Unit 1 traversed off of the shoulder of the roadway and struck a mailbox on the right shoulder, coming to final rest on the right shoulder, facing east. Initial impact occurred as the front bumper of Unit 1 struck the mailbox. Operator 1 suffered no injuries as a result of this crash. Operator 1 was determined to be under the influence of a controlled substance at the time of the crash. Unit 1 was disabled as a result of the damage acquired during the crash. Unit 1 was towed from the scene by Motter’s Towing. Operator 1 was cited for Careless Driving.
