The Lebanon Community Libraries’ (LCLIBs) 2021 Summer Learning Program, Tails and Tales, began June 7 and will continue through August.

The animal-themed program incentivizes reading and learning in kids, both through rewards for reading and free events at each Lebanon Community Library location.

Kids participating in the program receive a free book for every 120 minutes of logged reading combined with completing two listed activities. Possible activities include attending an online library program, listening to an e-book, or making up a story with three animals. Children or their guardians can sign up for this program online or print reading logs to bring to the library.

Here is the event calendar for every LCLIBs location: Annville Free Library, Lebanon Community Library, Matthews Public Library, Myerstown Community Library, Palmyra Public Library and Richland Community Library (click links to jump to each section). Unless otherwise specified, each event takes place at the library.
