June 26 from 4 to 7 p.m., the St. John’s Church Grove Building (683 Steelstown Rd., Annville) will be the site of the “We’re making a Fuss over Gus Spaghetti Dinner.” The church is selling spaghetti meals for $10.00 each to raise money for Gus Bomgardner, a young boy who was diagnosed with a brain tumor in April.

Gus, one of Joel and Greta Bomgardner’s four children, received surgery removing the tumor shortly after it was discovered. He has also undergone chemotherapy, in addition to recovering for the surgery.

Each spaghetti dinner will be made up of spaghetti with meat sauce, applesauce, a roll, a cookie and a drink. The meals are take-out only.

Pre-purchasing tickets is recommended. To pre-purchase tickets, contact Jennifer Wolf at (717) 679-1577 or jaw4484@comcast.net.

During this time, donations for the Bomgardner family will also be accepted.
