East Hanover Township

Vehicle Accident – On June 19, 2021 at 12:15 a.m., this crash occurred as Unit 1, a 2007 Ford F150, driven by Operator 1, a 22 year old Jonestown man, was traveling south on McGillstown Rd. Unit 1 negotiated a lefthand curve in the roadway, then left the roadway and struck a tree. The vehicle came to final rest against a tree on the left side of the roadway. Unit 1 was towed from the scene. Operator 1 was transported via Hersheypark EMS to the Hershey Medical Center for treatment of injuries of unknown severity sustained in the crash. Operator 1 was cited for Driving Vehicle at Safe Speed.

Harassment – On June 21, 2021 at 6:03 a.m., PSP Jonestown troopers responded to Main St. for a report of an inactive domestic. Investigation revealed that both parties came in physical contact with each other during an argument. Both parties were cited with Harassment. The Victims/Arrestees were a 38 year old Ono woman and a 39 year old Harrisburg man. PSP is investigating.

Vehicle Accident – On June 19, 2021 at 6:50 p.m., this single-vehicle crash occurred as Unit 1, a 2020 Jeep Compass, driven by Operator 1, a 26 year old Lebanon woman, accompanied by Passenger 1, a 30 year old Reading man, was traveling westbound on SR 22 in East Hanover Twp. This crash occurred as Operator 1 was driving too fast for conditions and attempted to exit SR 22 Westbound toward the SR 934 exit ramp. Operator 1 lost control of Unit 1 and subsequently struck a tree just west of the SR 934 exit ramp. Unit 1 sustained disabling front-end damage. It is believed that Operator 1 and Passenger 1 sustained minor injuries as a result of this crash. Operator 1 and Passenger 1 were transported to the WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital in Lebanon City for further medical evaluation by Penn State Life Lion EMS. Operator 1 was cited for Driving on Roadways Laned for Traffic.

Heidelberg Township

Theft – On June 21, 2021 at 12:45 p.m., PSP Jonestown responded to Wood Ln. for a report of an individual receiving unemployment information in the mail. The Victim related that he never filed for unemployment. The Victim was a 49 year old Myerstown man. PSP is investigating.

Jackson Township

Theft – On June 10, 2021 at 10:00 a.m., State Police responded to Stracks Dam Rd. for a report of a theft. Through investigation, it was determined that an unknown individual utilized the Victim’s Personal Identifiable Information (PII) to file a fraudulent unemployment claim. The Victim was a 52 year old Myerstown man. The stolen property included the Victim’s Identity.

Vehicle Accident – On June 15, 2021 at 1:53 p.m., this crash occurred on South Ramona Rd. at its intersection with King St. This crash involved Unit 1, driven by Operator 1, a 59 year old Laureldale man, Unit 2, driven by Operator 2, a 29 year old Middletown woman, accompanied by Passenger 1, an 8 year old Middletown juvenile female, and Passenger 2, an 8 year old Middletown juvenile female. Operator 1, Operator 2, Passenger 1, and Passenger 2 did not sustain injuries as a result of this crash.

North Lebanon Township

Retail Theft, Drug Possession – Derek Moyer, a 42 year old Harrisburg resident, was charged with Retail Theft and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia after an incident that occurred on June 4, 2021 at the Lebanon Wal-Mart, after failing to pay for $190.00 worth of merchandise.

DUI, Drug Possession – Jacob Arnold, a 26 year old Jonestown resident, was charged with Driving Under the Influence of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia after being involved in a traffic accident on May 7, 2021 at Route 72 and 22nd St.

Simple Assault – Gustavo Guzman, a 22 year old Lebanon resident, was charged with two counts of Simple Assault after an incident that occurred on June 16, 2021 in the 900 block of Miller St.

North Londonderry Township

Operating A Vehicle Without Ignition Interlock – On June 18, 2021 at 11:40 a.m., Jennifer Morris, a 37 year old Lebanon resident, was stopped while operating a vehicle with an expired registration in the area of the 900 block of North Forge Rd. Morris was found to be operating a vehicle without an Ignition Interlock device while being in possession of a PA Ignition Interlock/Limited License. Morris was charged with Operating a Vehicle Without Ignition Interlock. Charges were filed with DJ Garver’s Office.

Criminal Mischief – On June 5, 2021 at 5:50 p.m., Sebastian Britcher, a 23 year old Annville resident, was cited with Criminal Mischief after driving through a yard and damaging landscaping. This incident occurred on the 00 block of Naftzinger Rd.

South Londonderry Township

Vehicle Accident – On June 17, 2021 at 5:17 p.m., South Londonderry Twp. police investigated a crash on the 2,900 block of Horseshoe Pike in Palmyra. It was found that a 25 year old Hershey man swerved off of the roadway to avoid a rear-end collision. It was at that time that the man traveled over a curb and struck a stonewall, which rendered her vehicle inoperable. The man did not sustain any injuries as a result of this crash and the vehicle was towed from the scene.

Swatara Township

Theft – On June 21, 2021 at 10:50 a.m., PSP Jonestown responded to Willowcreek Ave. for a report of an individual receiving information from her employer that she had filed for COVID relief unemployment benefits. The Victim related that she never filed for unemployment. The Victim was a 38 year old Jonestown woman. PSP is investigating.

Union Township

DUI – On June 20, 2021 at 12:07 a.m., PSP Jonestown initiated a traffic stop at SR 72 and Awol Rd. The Operator of the vehicle exhibited numerous signs of impairment and was taken into custody for driving under the influence. The vehicles involved included a 2014 Nissan.

West Cornwall Township

Vehicle Accident – On June 19, 2021 at 7:42 p.m., this crash occurred in the SR 322 Westbound lane at the SR 241 intersection. A vehicle driven by a 19 year old Reinholds man was traveling west on SR 322 and failed to stop at a red light, striking the rear of a vehicle driven by a 52 year old Annville man. No injuries were reported as a result of this crash. Both vehicles were drivable.

Vehicle Accident – On June 23, 2021 at 9:10 a.m., this crash occurred on West Main St. at Horseshoe Pike. A vehicle driven by a Lebanon woman was stopped behind a vehicle driven by a second Lebanon woman. The first woman started moving her vehicle and struck the second woman’s vehicle. No injuries were reported as a result of this crash. Both vehicles sustained minor damage but were drivable.
