Ed Felty took time out from running the Allen Theatre and Backstage Cafe in Annville to come in and tell us all about how he and his wife got to be the owners of such a beautiful and historic landmark.

Ed’s background

Ed graduated from Cedar Crest High School in 1982 and in 86 he graduated from Grove City College. He has also earned his Masters of Education from Temple University.

After graduating college Ed taught high school at Annville Cleona until 2002. He then took a job as the Administrator at Elco High School until 2013.

After that he returned to his alma mater Cedar Crest and and worked there as an administrator until 2019.

Ed and his wife have been long time residents of Lebanon and are another great example of people who love the area and are now giving back by keeping a local landmark alive!

Please stop by the Backstage Cafe for delicious food, a great milkshake and other treats. While you’re there you can see a movie or better yet take your food into the movie and enjoy your meal while you watch!
