More than three dozen vehicles were vandalized in the Arbordale development early Tuesday morning.

South Londonderry Chief of Police William Reigle said that the damage consisted primarily of smashed windows. Damage was found in areas including Woodridge Drive, Forest Circle, Brookwood Drive, and the Villages at Springbrook.

“The vandalism occurred overnight,” said Reigle. “Our best estimate is between 1 and 3 a.m.”

At this point, police are assuming the acts of vandalism were committed by the same party.

The areas targeted were in three police jurisdictions – North Londonderry Township, South Londonderry Township, and Palmyra Borough.

Residents with security cameras on their properties are encouraged to review footage from overnight for suspicious behavior.

“Call your local police if you have any information to provide about the vandalism,” said Reigle.
