Mick’s is owned by Mick and Stephanie Owens. The couple also operates three other Mick’s restaurants in Lancaster County – one in Willow Street in the Willow Valley complex, one in Lititz at Penn Cinema, and one in Mount Joy’s Donegal Square – and Maize Mexican Cantina, also in Lancaster County. The initial Mick’s opened in downtown Mount Joy in 2008.

Owners Mick and Stephanie Owens opened the first Mick’s in downtown Mount Joy in 2008. Since then, the restaurant has opened up offshoots in Lititz and Lancaster. In addition, the couple operates a Mexican restaurant in Lancaster.

“We’re a family-oriented sports pub,” Mick Owens said. “We’re excited to open in the Lebanon area as we grow our restaurants.”

The North Cornwall Commons restaurant features 11 large-screen TVs. Owens said the restaurant has a general cable package, which means that fans can see local games as they’re aired on networks such as ESPN, Fox, CBS or NBC.

He said the décor has a pub-like feel to it. It will also be filled with natural light. There’s seating for 28 at the bar, and high-top tables surround the bar area.

The bar itself flows from the indoor area to the patio, which Owens said will be open when the restaurant opens Nov. 16. A separate dining area seats 30 and can be used for private functions.

“Initially we won’t be having any private parties; we’ll need the space for dining. We’ll probably start doing private parties in that space in the new year,” Owens explained.

The menu is shared between all the Mick’s locations. It includes classic pub fare such as wings, nachos, and pub fries.

One of the most popular items is Mick’s beach-style thin-crust hand-tossed pizza. The menu also features appetizers, salads, soups, burgers, sandwiches and entrees. There’s no set lunch or dinner menu — all items are available throughout the day. Menu items are made to order, and special orders can be accommodated. There’s also a children’s menu.

The bar selection includes bottled and draft beer, wine by the glass or bottle and cocktails. Bottled selections include craft brews from regional breweries such as Troegs, Victory, and Yards. Brewing Co. Some craft brews are also available on tap.

Selections change frequently for draft beer at Mick’s All American Pub, but as of opening day you’ll find a wide selection of local beers, national craft brands, and the tried and true domestics. Lager with the meal and then maybe a Hershey’s Porter for dessert?

Mick’s does not take reservations. Hours will be 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and 11 a.m. to midnight Friday and Saturday. The kitchen closes an hour prior to restaurant closing time.
