Bethel Township

Vehicle Accident – On Nov. 25, 2021 at 11:45 a.m., this crash occurred on Mount Zion Rd. in Bethel Twp. This crash occurred as Unit 1, a 2003 Ford Focus, driven by Operator 1, a 19 year old Lebanon man, was traveling north, when it crossed the double yellow line into the southbound lane and struck a PennDOT intersection sign on the shoulder of the roadway. Initial impact occurred as right quarter panel of Unit 1 struck the intersection sign. Operator 1 then fled the scene of the crash in an unknown direction. Unit 1 sustained disabling damage as a result of this crash, which required towing. Operator 1 was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the crash. Operator 1 did not sustain any injuries as a result of this crash. Operator 1 was cited for Accidents Involving Damage to Unattended Vehicle or Property.

Vehicle Accident – On Nov. 17, 2021 at 3:17 p.m., this two-vehicle crash occurred on West Main St. at its intersection with Airport Rd. in Bethel Twp. This crash occurred as Unit 1, a 2013 Kia Soul, driven by Operator 1, an 80 year old Fredericksburg woman, was turning left/west onto West Main St., when it proceeded past the stop sign without proper clearance and was struck by Unit 2, a 1992 General Motors Corp Yukon, driven by Operator 2, a 55 year old Lebanon man, which was traveling east. Initial impact occurred as the front right bumper of Unit 2 struck the front left fender of Unit 1. Operator 1 and Operator 2 were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the crash. Operator 1 and Operator 2 did not sustain any injuries as a result of this crash. Unit 1 sustained disabling damage, which required towing. Operator 1 was cited for Stop Signs and Yield Signs.

Vehicle Accident – On Oct. 30, 2021 at 1:34 p.m., this two-vehicle crash occurred as Unit 1, a 2015 Dodge Caravan, driven by Operator 1, an 89 year old Fredericksburg man, was traveling on the right westbound lane of SR 22. Unit 2, a 2010 Toyota Camry, driven by Operator 2, a 27 year old Harrisburg man, accompanied by Passenger 1, a 54 year old Harrisburg man, Passenger 2, a 24 year old Harrisburg woman, and Passenger 3, a 5 year old Harrisburg juvenile female, was stopped on SR 343’s northbound lane of travel. Unit 1 proceeded past a red light. Unit 2, having the green light and the right of way, proceeded to complete a left turn onto SR 343’s westbound lanes of travel. Unit 1 then struck Unit 2. Unit 1 then continued into a grass portion off of the roadway and struck a metal fence, causing property damage. Unit 2 then continued over a raised divider and came to final rest upon the left only turn lane on the opposing side of SR 22. Operator 1, Operator 2, Passenger 1, and Passenger 2 were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the crash. Passenger 3 was in a child safety seat (front facing) at the time of the crash. Operator 1 sustained suspected minor injuries as a result of this crash but was not transported. Operator 2, Passenger 2, and Passenger 3 did not sustain any injuries as a result of this crash. Passenger 1 sustained suspected minor injuries as a result of this crash and was transported via Life Lion EMS to the Good Samaritan Hospital. Operator 1 was cited for Traffic-Control Signals.

Disorderly Conduct – On Dec. 3, 2021 at approximately 7:44 p.m., PSP Jonestown responded to the area of SR 22 and Pine Grove Rd. in Bethel Twp. for a welfare check of a female walking in the middle of the road, impending the flow of traffic, and endangering herself. Upon arrival, troopers found the Arrestee, Crystal Fortini, a 27 year old Enola woman, to be under the influence of methamphetamine. Charges are pending court for Obstruction of a Highway, Persistent Disorderly Conduct, and Public Drunkenness.

Threat Use Weapons Of Mass Destruction – On Dec. 6, 2021 at 8:21 a.m., State Police responded to the Northern Lebanon Middle/High School on School Dr. for a bomb threat. Through investigation, it was determined that an unknown individual placed a phone call to the school district relating a bomb was in the school building. The school building was cleared, and it was determined this threat was not credible. This investigation is ongoing. The Victim was Northern Lebanon School District in Fredericksburg.

DUI – On Dec. 3, 2021 at 2:59 a.m., this incident occurred on South Pine Grove St. and Hernley Ln. In the commission of this crime, the Arrestee operated a vehicle while under the influence of a controlled substance. The Arrestee was a 28 year old Cleona man. The vehicles involved included a 2008 Volkswagen Rabbit.

Cornwall Borough

Deer Struck – Unit 1, driven by Operator 1, Sherry Snader, a 60 year old Willow St. resident, struck a deer on Dec. 5, 2021 at 7:06 p.m. on SR 322 East and Starner Rd. No injuries were reported as a result of this crash. Unit 1 was driven from the scene.

East Hanover Township

Vehicle Accident – On Dec. 5, 2021 at 7:00 p.m., this crash occurred on the 10200 block of Jonestown Rd. This crash involved Unit 1, a 2003 Kia Optima, driven by Operator 1, a 54 year old Grantville man, accompanied by Passenger 1, a 49 year old Grantville man, and Unit 2, a 2016 Ford Escape, driven by Operator 2, a 62 year old Cleona woman. Operator 1, Passenger 1, and Operator 2 were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the crash. Operator 1 and Passenger 1 did not sustain any injuries as a result of this crash. Operator 2 sustained possible injuries as a result of this crash and was transported via Life Lion EMS. Operator 1 was cited for Following Too Closely.

Jackson Township

Death Undetermined – Sometime between Nov. 25, 2021 at 11:45 p.m. and Nov. 26, 2021 at 12:14 a.m., members of PSP Jonestown responded to Houtztown Rd. for a death investigation. This investigation is ongoing. The Victim was a 54 year old Myerstown man.

Millcreek Township

Vehicle Accident – On Dec. 3, 2021 at 7:10 p.m., this crash occurred as Unit 1, a 2007 Nissan Versa, driven by Operator 1, a 20 year old Robesonia man, was traveling east on West Bethany Rd. and Unit 2, a 2017 Ford Escape, driven by Operator 2, a 37 year old Newmanstown woman, was traveling south on South Fort Zellers Rd. Unit 1 failed to drive at a reasonable rate of speed as it traveled through the intersection of West Bethany Rd. and South Fort Zellers Rd. Unit 2 proceeded through a properly posted stop sign, after coming to a complete stop. Unit 1’s 11 o’clock position then struck Unit 2’s 12 o’clock position in the intersection of South Fort Zellers Rd. and West Bethany Rd. This would be both Units’ point of initial impact. Unit 1 then left the roadway, struck a ditch, and overturned onto its roof. This would be Unit 1’s position of final rest. Unit 2 then came to final rest on the shoulder of South Fort Zellers Rd. Both Units required towing. Operator 1 and Operator 2 were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the crash. Operator 1 sustained injuries of unknown severity as a result of this crash and was transported via Newmanstown VFC Ambulance Corps to the Reading Hospital. Operator 2 sustained injuries of unknown severity as a result of this crash and was transported via Newmanstown VFC Ambulance Corps. Operator 1 was cited for Driving Vehicle at Safe Speed.

Myerstown Borough

Public Drunkenness – On Dec. 3, 2021 at 11:27 p.m., this incident occurred on South Cherry St. In the commission of this crime, the Arrestee did appear in a public place manifestly under the influence of alcohol to a degree that annoyed persons in his vicinity. The Arrestee was a 22 year old Myerstown man.

North Londonderry Township

Confinement Of Dogs – On Dec. 1, 2021 at 3:10 p.m., a 40 year old North Londonderry Twp. man was cited with PA Dog Law – Confinement of Dogs, due to his dog running loose on the 700 block of Leon Ave.

South Londonderry Township

Possession With Intent To Deliver, Drug Possession – On May 14, 2021 at 9:40 p.m., Izaa Culler, an 18 year old Lebanon resident, was charged with Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Deliver, after he was found in possession of a large quantity of marijuana in the game lands lot on Mount Wilson Rd. near Dinosaur Rock. He was also in possession of THC oil and drug paraphernalia.

Vehicle Accident – On Dec. 2, 2021 at 5:13 p.m., South Londonderry Twp. Police and Lawn Fire Department were dispatched to an accident with a rollover on the 500 block of Mount Gretna Rd. Upon arrival, the driver was out of the vehicle. The driver had lost control of the vehicle as it was going around a right curve in the roadway, causing the vehicle to roll over. The vehicle sustained moderate damage as a result of this crash. The driver was Matthew Suter, a 37 year old Elizabethtown resident.

Pedestrian Accident – On Dec. 3, 2021 at 7:55 a.m., a 35 year old Palmyra woman was crossing Horseshoe Pk. on foot when Unit 1, driven by Operator 1, a 47 year old Enola woman, struck her. Unit 1 had been traveling southbound on North Thistle Dr. and was in the process of turning left onto Horseshoe Pk. Wagner was transported via First Aid and Safety Patrol of Lebanon to Hershey Medical Center for treatment of unspecified injuries as a result of this crash. Police were assisted on scene by Campbelltown Vol Fire Company and Campbelltown Fire Police. Charges are pending investigation.

Harassment – On July 25, 2021, the South Londonderry Twp. Police Department received a Harassment by Communication complaint. The harassing behavior continued for several months. Following a police investigation, Lillian Kosoff, a 24 year old Hershey resident, was charged with four counts of Harassment.

Union Township

Possession Of Suspected Contraband – Sometime between Oct. 14, 2021 at 12:00 a.m. and Oct. 15, 2021 at 12:00 a.m., this incident occurred on the 3100 block of SR 72 as inmates at the Lebanon County Correctional Facility were found to be in possession of suspected contraband.

Vehicle Accident – On Dec. 6, 2021 at 8:04 p.m., this crash occurred as Unit 1, a 2000 Ford Ranger, driven by Operator 1, was traveling south on SR 72 in Union Twp. Unit 1 was traveling southbound when Operator 1 did not observe a down tree in the roadway. Operator 1 did not have enough time to apply the brakes, causing Unit 1 to strike the tree. After impact, Unit 1 continued in a south direction, before coming to its position of final rest in the northbound travel lane, facing a south direction. Unit 1 sustained damage to the front driver’s side wheel. Operator 1 was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash. Operator 1 did not sustain any injuries as a result of this crash. No airbags were deployed in Unit 1 as a result of this crash. Operator 1 was able to change the wheel and tire assembly, where Unit 1 was then driven from the scene by Operator 1. PSP Jonestown was assisted on scene by Trooper Shoopack.

Harassment – On Nov. 7, 2021 at 2:50 p.m., troopers were approached at SR 72 for a report of a physical harassment. Troopers are investigating. The Victim was a 28 year old Marietta woman.
