Bethel Township
Vehicle Accident – On Dec. 21, 2021 at 12:09 p.m., this crash occurred on South Pine Grove St. at its intersection with Greble Rd. in Bethel Twp. This crash occurred as Unit 1, a 2016 Buick Enclave, driven by Operator 1, a 74 year old Myerstown man, accompanied by Passenger 1, a 74 year old Myerstown woman, was traveling west on Greble Rd. and then stopped at a properly posted stop sign. Unit 2, a 2017 Honda Accord, driven by Operator 2, a 49 year old Orwigsburg woman, was traveling north on South Pine Grove St. Unit 1 proceeded without proper clearance after stopping. Unit 1 struck Unit 2 in the intersection. After initial impact, Unit 2 rotated approximately 180 degrees and struck a stone wall on the east shoulder of South Pine Grove St. Unit 1 came to final rest, facing west on Greble Rd. Unit 2 came to final rest on the east shoulder of South Pine Grove St., facing south. Unit 1 and Unit 2 sustained disabling damage as a result of this crash and were towed from the scene by Dale Richard’s. PSP Jonestown was assisted on scene by Lebanon County fire companies. Operator 1, Passenger 1, and Operator 2 were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the crash. Operator 1, Passenger 1, and Operator 2 did not sustain any injuries as a result of this crash. Operator 1 was cited for Stop Signs and Yield Signs.
Sexual Assault – On Nov. 6, 2021 sometime between 10:24 a.m. and 10:38 a.m., this incident occurred on North Mechanic St. as the Victim arrived at PSP Jonestown to report being raped. This investigation remains open. The Victim was a 23 year old Lebanon woman.
DUI – On Dec. 7, 2021 at 8:05 p.m., troopers responded to Chestnut Hill Rd. and Audrey Ln. for an erratic driver. The driver exhibited indicators of being under the influence of alcohol and was subsequently arrested for suspicion of DUI. Appropriate charges will be filed. The Arrestee was a 28 year old Reading man. The vehicles involved included a Chrysler Town and Country minivan.
Heidelberg Township
Vehicle Accident – On Dec. 28, 2021 at 10:58 p.m., this reportable crash occurred on SR 501 just south of Michters Rd. in Heidelberg Twp. This crash occurred as Unit 1, a 2001 Volkswagen Passat, driven by Operator 1, a 24 year old Lebanon man, was traveling north in the right lane of SR 501. Unit 1 traversed off the roadway and onto the right shoulder, where it struck a roadway sign, utility post, and fence prior to overturning. Initial impact occurred as the driver’s side quarter panel of Unit 1 struck the roadway sign. After initial impact, Unit 1 struck the utility post and fence, and then re-entered the roadway, overturned, and came to final rest on its roof, facing west. Unit 1 was disabled as a result of this crash and was towed from the scene by Leffler’s Towing. Operator 1 was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the crash. Operator 1 did not sustain any injuries as a result of this crash. Operator 1 was cited for Driving on Roadways Laned for Traffic.
Jonestown Borough
Terroristic Threats – On Dec. 11, 2021 at 6:13 p.m., PSP Jonestown troopers responded to West Market St. for a report of a neighbor knocking on the door of the Victim with a knife. PSP Jonestown is investigating. The Arrestee was a 53 year old Jonestown woman. The Victim was a 32 year old Jonestown woman.
Millcreek Township
Vehicle Accident – On Dec. 27, 2021 at approximately 5:03 p.m., this three-vehicle reportable crash occurred on South Sheridan Rd. in Millcreek Twp. This crash occurred as Unit 1, a 2001 Toyota Camry, driven by Operator 1, a 36 year old New Holland man, was traveling north and crossed into the oncoming lane, which was its point of initial impact with Unit 2, a 2013 Chevrolet Equinox, that was legally parked. Initial impact occurred when the front of Unit 1 struck the front of Unit 2, causing disabling damage. Unit 2 spun around as a result of the impact and crashed into a residence. Unit 2 came to final rest following its point of initial impact with Unit 3’s, a 2014 Jeep Patriot’s, front bumper. Operator 1 was not wearing his seatbelt at the time of the crash. No injuries were reported as a result of this crash. This crash is pending further investigation, reference incident number PA2021-1712886.
North Cornwall Township
Drug Possession, Public Drunkenness – On Dec. 28, 2021 at 11:35 p.m., this incident occurred on the 2500 block of West Cumberland St. in the Hearth Restaurant Parking Lot. This incident occurred as police responded to the parking lot for a suspicious person attempting to open vehicles. The Arrestee, a 36 year old Lebanon man, was charged with Use/Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Public Drunkenness.
North Londonderry Township
Stolen Vehicle – On Dec. 26, 2021 at 9:25 a.m., this incident occurred on the 00 block of Sandy Dr. in Annville Twp. North Londonderry Twp. Police Department is investigating a stolen vehicle from the above-listed location. The vehicle was last seen in the driveway of the residence on Dec. 26, 2021 at approximately 12:20 a.m. The vehicle is described as a silver-in-color 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee bearing PA registration FSF-9500. The vehicle was left unlocked with the keys still inside. Anyone with information or anyone who sees the vehicle is asked to contact the North Londonderry Twp. Police Department at 717-838-5276.
Theft By Unlawful Taking – On Oct. 28, 2021, this incident occurred on the 1200 block of East Main St. in Palmyra. North Londonderry Twp. Police Department filed charges against Monica Smoot, a 23 year old Jonestown resident, for her involvement in the incident that took place at Crosstown Dental Group at the above-listed date and location. Smoot was charged with one count of Theft by Unlawful Taking after she took $40.00 from a co-worker’s wallet.

Harassment By A Prisoner – On Nov. 28, 2021 at 11:15 a.m., this incident occurred on East Walnut St. PSP Jonestown is currently investigating an inmate-related incident at LCCF. The Victim was a Lebanon man.
South Londonderry Township
Vehicle Accident – On Dec. 3, 2021 at 3:45 p.m., this crash occurred on Schoolhouse Rd. and Stauffers Church Rd. This crash occurred as Unit 1, driven by Operator 1, a 20 year old Palmyra man, was traveling north on Stauffers Church Rd., when Operator 1 failed to obey a clearly posted stop sign, which resulted in a crash with Unit 2, driven by Operator 2, a 73 year old Palmyra resident. Operator 1 and Operator 2 did not sustain any injuries as a result of this crash. Operator 1 was cited for Failure to Obey a Clearly Posted Stop Sign.
Vehicle Accident – On Dec. 5, 2021 at 2:23 p.m., this crash occurred on Horseshoe Pk. and West Market St. This crash occurred as Unit 1, driven by Operator 1, a 41 year old Palmyra man, was traveling east on Horseshoe Pk., when Unit 1 struck the rear-end of Unit 2, driven by Operator 2, a 29 year old Lebanon man. Operator 1 and Operator 2 did not sustain any injuries as a result of this crash.
Vehicle Accident – On Dec. 16, 2021 at 4:54 p.m., this two-vehicle crash occurred at the intersection of South Forge Rd. at Airport Rd. This crash occurred as Unit 1, driven by Operator 1, a 16 year old Mount Gretna juvenile female, turned in front of Unit 2, driven by Operator 2, a 61 year old Hershey man. Unit 2 struck Unit 1, causing curtain side airbag deployment. South Londonderry Twp. Police Department was assisted on scene by the Campbelltown Volunteer Fire Police for traffic control.
Vehicle Accident – On Dec. 20, 2021 at 4:07 p.m., this single-vehicle crash occurred on the 2400 block of Horseshoe Pk. in Palmyra. This crash occurred as Operator 1, a 21 year old Myerstown woman, lost control of Unit 1 and then proceeded into the farm field adjacent to Risser’s Farm Market. Unit 1 was towed from the scene. Operator 1 did not sustain any injuries as a result of this crash.
Hit-And-Run Crash – On Dec. 24, 2021 at 7:06 a.m., the South Londonderry Twp. Police Department received a report of struck mailboxes. A vehicle had left the roadway and struck mailboxes in the 2700 block of Horseshoe Pk. A tan minivan was seen in the area around the time of the crash. The vehicle should have damage to the driver’s side front bumper. Anyone with information is asked to contact the South Londonderry Twp. Police Department at 717-838-1376.
Swatara Township
Vehicle Accident – On Dec. 27, 2021 at 2:55 p.m., this crash occurred on Lickdale Rd. at its intersection with Lancaster St. in Swatara Twp. This crash occurred as Unit 1, a 2021 Subaru Crosstrek, driven by Operator 1, a 22 year old Jonestown woman, accompanied by Passenger 1, a 3 year old Jonestown juvenile male, was traveling north on Lancaster St. and then stopped at a properly posted stop sign. Unit 2, a 2013 Jeep Wrangler, driven by Operator 2, a 51 year old Jonestown woman, was traveling west on Lickdale Rd. Unit 1 began crossing Lickdale Rd. and was struck by Unit 2 in the intersection. Unit 1 rotated approximately 180 degrees and came to final rest, facing south on Darkes Rd. Unit 2 came to final rest, facing west on Lickdale Rd. Unit 1 sustained disabling damage as a result of this crash and was towed from the scene by Dale Richard’s. Unit 2 sustained minor damage as a result of this crash and was driven from the scene by Operator 2. Operator 1 and Operator 2 were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the crash. Passenger 1 was in a child safety seat (front-facing) at the time of the crash. Operator 1, Passenger 1, and Operator 2 did not sustain any injuries as a result of this crash. Operator 1 was cited for Stop Signs and Yield Signs.
Vehicle Accident – On Dec. 30, 2021 at 5:48 a.m., this hit-and-run crash occurred in the area of the 100 block of Moore Rd. in Swatara Twp. This crash occurred as Unit 1, driven by Operator 1, was traveling east, when it crossed into the westbound lane and struck a MetEd utility pole on the shoulder of the roadway. Unit 1 fled from the scene of the crash in an unknown direction of travel. The extent of damage on Unit 1 as a result of this crash is unknown. It is also unknown whether Operator 1 sustained any injuries and the severity of those injuries as a result of this crash.
Vehicle Accident – On Dec. 31, 2021 at 11:34 a.m., this crash occurred on I 78 East at mile marker 3.2 in Swatara Twp. This crash occurred as Unit 1, a 2019 Nissan Sentra, driven by Operator 1, a 34 year old Jacksonville, FL man, was traveling eastbound on I 78 in the right lane. Unit 1 crossed the left lane and into the median on the north side of the roadway, striking a cable barrier. After initial impact, Unit 1 rotated approximately 180 degrees counterclockwise. Unit 1 came to final rest, facing west in the median on the north side of I 78 East. Unit 1 sustained disabling damage as a result of this crash and was towed from the scene by Joe May’s. Operator 1 was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the crash. Operator 1 did not sustain any injuries as a result of this crash. Operator 1 was cited for Driving Vehicle at Safe Speed.
