LebTown features a different Lebanon County pet each Friday to help us enter the weekend with the best vibes possible.
This week’s pets are Indy and Layla, owned by Kyra and Cody Phillips.
Layla is an 8-year-old black Labrador, Kyra says, and Indy, short for “Indigo,” is a 9-month-old blue tick coonhound.
“They are best friends, even though Layla gets sick of putting up with Indy’s rambunctious spirit from time to time,” Kyra says. “They both love going for walks, wrestling, snuggling, and playing with their human siblings, Caden and Karalyn.
“Layla also enjoys playing fetch,” she adds, “and Indy enjoys serenading the neighborhood with her long, deep, hound dog howls.”
Congratulations to Indy and Layla for being LebTown’s Pets of the Week … and keep your ears open for Indy’s serenades!
