On the date marking two years since the death of George Floyd – May 25, 2022 – a rally will be held at the Annville Town Square to remember the 10 victims of the racially motivated mass shooting in Buffalo earlier this month.
It will be the 163rd action held by the Annville Town Square Protesters for Racial Justice since they began in June 2020. Co-organizing the event is the Lebanon County branch of the NAACP, which received national recognition last fall to become an active and independent branch of the largest and most prominent civil rights organization in the United States.

The rally will be held from 4 to 5 p.m. on Wednesday, May 25. Organizers said in a release that the time will be used to mourn and remember the victims of the mass shooting and to condemn the theories of white supremacy that inspired the gunman.
