A New York City-based tap and piano duo will perform at the Mount Gretna Playhouse on Sunday, Sept. 11, as part of the penultimate Gretna Music concert of the summer.
Tao-Teicher will perform at 7:30 p.m, with tickets ranging from $5 to $30. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., with a “First Listen” performance at 6:45 p.m. by local talented youth cellist Katrina Wolfe.
Conrad Tao – “the kind of musician who is shaping the future of classical music” according to New York Magazine – collaborates with dancer and choreographer Caleb Teicher for the performance, which will feature excerpts from Bach’s “Goldberg Variations” and Gershwin’s “Rhapsody in Blue” and improvisations.
