Lebanon City Police are looking for a 19-year-old Lebanon man over a Saturday night stabbing near the Lebanon Farmers Market.

Police were dispatched to 35 S. 8th St. around 8:20 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 27, for a victim of a possible stabbing, but found neither victim nor suspect when they arrived at the scene, according to a police press release.

Lebanon police said that several hours later they located the 17-year-old male victim at a local medical facility being treated under a false name. The victim, police said, was later identified and discovered to be wanting by Lebanon County Juvenile Probation.

Currently the victim is hospitalized and requires medical treatment, but he is expected to recover, police said.

According to the release, this was not a random assault on the victim.

Lebanon police said they have charged 19-year-old Gabrel Colon with two counts of aggravated assault over the stabbing and now hold a warrant for his arrest.

Police said that a photo of Colon was not available for release. He was described as a Hispanic male with lighter skin tone, approximately 5 feet 5 inches and 120 pounds.

Anyone with knowledge on Colon’s whereabouts is asked to call Lebanon city police at 717-272-2054.
