The Lebanon County Choral Society will present a holiday concert at Palm Lutheran Church on Sunday, Dec. 11, at 3 p.m.

The theme for this year’s holiday concert is ‘Songs of Ice and Fire.’ Artistic director Sean Hackett said in a press release that theme is “an exploration of the glorious dichotomy that is winter.”

“We bring together the harsh beauty of a snowy landscape and the comforting warmth of hearth and home,” said Hackett. “Some holiday favorites are included, as are some beautiful pieces that will expand our musical horizons just a bit.”

Hackett said the society’s singers have worked very hard this season and the pieces are coming together wonderfully.

Palm Lutheran Church is located at 11 W. Cherry Street in Palmyra.

Tickets can be purchased online at LCCSMusic.org for $15 and at the door for $18. Student tickets are always $3.

The choral society is also accepting signups for the spring season. Those with interest should contact the organization by emailing managementLCCS@gmail.com.

The Lebanon County Choral Society was founded in 1889. It’s mission is to nurture an appreciation of challenging choral music by preparing public performances that combine accessibility with high artistic standards.
