Pennsylvania State Police are investigating the theft of a truck tractor from a Myerstown repair shop on Friday night, Jan. 13.

In a release Thursday morning, Jan. 18, police said that a maroon-colored 2005 Peterbilt truck tractor was taken from Owl Creek Truck Repair LLC in Jackson Township at approximately 11:35 p.m. Friday. Owl Creek Truck Repair is located at 648 E. Lincoln Ave./SR 422.

Surveillance video obtained from the scene shows a white 2002-2006 Sprinter van approaching from the east. Police said that a passenger exited the van and approached a tractor trailer combination on the Owl Creek lot, and proceeded to disconnect the trailer and drive the truck tractor away, following the van eastward on State Route 422.

According to the release, the truck is valued at $45,000.
