Lebanon City Police Captain Bret Fisher said that the department does not have any new or additional information to release on an alleged rape that occurred on Jan. 9.
Last week, LebTown reported that city police were investigating the alleged rape of a 15-year-old female by four offenders in Lebanon.

The incident is believed by police to have taken place in a vehicle in the area of First and Weidman streets between the hours of 6 and 11 p.m. on Jan. 9.
Police have not released a description of the attackers.
Fisher previously told LebTown that the juvenile has been interviewed and that evidence items were in the process of being tested. At the time, Fisher said that there were no identified suspects.
Reached by email, Lebanon Mayor Sherry Capello said, “The city takes every reported crime seriously.”
“The investigation into this matter continues,” said Capello. “We are considering it as a serious incident, however, we do not believe the general public is in danger.”
Anyone with information on this incident should contact city police at 717-272-6611, or alternatively the Crime Stoppers hotline at 717-270-9800.
