State Rep. Russ Diamond (R-102) has opened up his new district office at 175 S. Lancaster St. in Jonestown.
Diamond previously had an office located in the Lebanon Valley Mall but, due to the redistricting that occurred last year, had to close it in November while seeking a new space.
“The office closure and relocation are necessary due to the change in the borders of House district maps that was required by the 2020 Census,” Diamond said at the time.
Up until the 2022 redistricting, the 102nd district included West Lebanon Township, where Diamond’s previous office was located in the Lebanon Valley Mall. Now West Lebanon Township is in the 101st district. State Rep. John Schlegel (R-101) soon after opened his own district office in the mall.
Diamond’s staff continued to provided constituent services by phone during the interim period, but now district residents can come to the office for in-person assistance.
Services available in the office include:
- Driver’s license and vehicle registration applications and renewals
- PACE and PACENET applications for seniors
- Property Tax and Rent Rebate applications
- Voter registration forms and absentee ballots
- State tax forms
- Student aid applications
- Notary
“I picked Jonestown for our new 102nd District office because it is centrally located in the district and because like it or not, folks on the east end of the county are reluctant to drive through Lebanon city to get to destinations west of the city, and vice-versa,” said Diamond in a release. “The Jonestown location can serve all our constituents without requiring them to navigate city traffic.”
The office can be contacted at 717-277-2101 and it’s open from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m, Monday through Friday. The mailing address for the office is: Rep. Russ Diamond, 175 S. Lancaster St., PO Box 65, Jonestown, PA, 17038.
The office is located in the shopping plaza nearby the Jonestown post office.
