A 29-year-old Lebanon man faces charges over gunshots fired Saturday night in Lebanon.

Lebanon city police announced Sunday, Feb. 12, that Christopher Fojo-Candelaria was arrested as a suspect over shots fired at a home on the 1300 block of Brandywine Street at around around 10 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 11.

Police said they were dispatched to the area at that time for a report of gunshots fired. According to the news release, police learned upon arrival that the shots were fired at a residence on that block, with further investigation revealing that the parties involved were known to each other.

Police said that this was not a random act of gun violence.

According to the release, police “quickly identified, charged, and took into custody” Fojo-Candelaria.

Police said that Fojo-Candelaria was arraigned over two counts of aggravated assault and one count of recklessly endangering another person. According to the release, bail was set at $250,000.

Further information on the case was not immediately accessible through the state’s unified judicial system, but police said the suspect is in custody.
