Making a Difference of Lebanon, PA, has announced its 2023 scholarship contest.

This year, three $1,000 scholarships are available for graduating high school seniors pursuing higher education, whether that’s college, a technical program, or another license/certification course.

To apply, graduating seniors must reside and attend high school in Lebanon County.

The scholarships are meant for students who are actively serving their community and whose values align with Making a Difference’s mission, which is “to build lasting relationships throughout the Lebanon County community by providing services to youth, veterans, and those in need, through Education, Service, Projects, and Events.”

Making a Difference founder Cornell Wilson said in an email that last year the scholarship received applications from more than 25 students across Lebanon County.

Applications are due by April 5. Winners will be encouraged to attend an appreciation reception on May 4 to receive their award.
