LebTown features a different Lebanon County pet each Friday to help us enter the weekend with the best vibes possible.

The Pet of the Week sometimes features a local furbaby who already lives in a happy Lebanon County home. Other times the column spotlights an animal that’s available for adoption through a local shelter and is seeking a forever family.

This week, meet adoptable Mirage!

Mirage, according to Pitties.Love.Peace rep Mika Stiefel, is “the beauty and the brawn all in one.”

She is estimated to be between 2 and 4 years old, Mika says, and she’s “sweet as pie and strong as a bull.” She’s a snuggle buddy, she adds, who offers plenty of free kisses and is excited to meet new friends of the two- and four-legged variety.

Mirage also “loves a good bone to chew and a squeaky toy to destroy,” Mika says, and she’s a “champion tug-of-war contender.”

Although Mirage enjoys other dogs and “would love to have a playful doggie sibling her size or larger in her forever home,” Mika says she’d prefer a kitty-free home.

“Her ideal household has no young children or dog-savvy children only, as she can be a bit excitable and doesn’t know her own strength,” she adds. Mirage is “looking for an active family who will include her in all of life’s adventures as well as in Netflix and chill time.”
