Annville Township
Receiving Stolen Property – On March 23, police charged Michael Lantz, 28, of Lebanon, with one count of receiving stolen property. Charges stem from a reported theft of a vehicle trailer on Dec. 23 on the 400 block of South Spruce Street. An investigation revealed that Lantz was in possession of the stolen trailer on Dec. 23 on the 100 block of South White Oak Street.
DUI – On March 24, police charged Allen Shanaman Jr., 51, with one count of DUI and one count of DUI-highest rate of alcohol after a traffic stop at 11:17 p.m. March 4 on the 00 block of West Main Street, where Shanaman was stopped for several motor vehicle moving violations by police. During the course of the stop, police determined that he was under the influence of alcohol.
Drug Possession – On April 6, police charged a 39-year-old Lebanon woman with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a small amount of marijuana for personal use after an incident at 7:37 p.m. March 22 on the 900 block of Horseshoe Pike, where police were called to a home for a complaint of an unknown vehicle parked in their driveway. Police seized the unattended vehicle after observing illegal drugs and drug paraphernalia in plain view. Investigation revealed that the woman owned the vehicle.
City of Lebanon
Arrest Prior to Requisition – On March 29, police charged Luis Hernandez-Muniz, 39, with arrest prior to requisition after being located in the City of Lebanon. Hernandez-Muniz was found to have a warrant out of the Harrisonburg Police Department in Virginia for embezzlement. Police took Hernandez-Muniz into custody to await extradition back to Virginia.
Terroristic Threats, Simple Assault, Harassment – On March 25, police charged Luis Ayuso-Garcia, 29, with terroristic threats, simple assault, and harassment after a domestic dispute on the 300 block of South 6th Street. Ayuso-Garcia is accused of punching the victim in the mouth with a closed fist, pointing a firearm at her, and threatening to kill her.
Escape – On March 25, police charged Ryan Moyer, 47, with escape after he fled from a room at the Good Samaritan Hospital where he was being guarded by officers from LCCF. He was located a short time later by an LCCF officer and taken back into custody.
Drug Possession – On March 24, police charged Jeremy Ocasio, 25, with possession of a small amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia after he was found to be in Coleman Memorial Park after hours.
Drug Possession – On March 7, police charged Thomas Vance, 33, with possession of a small amount of marijuana, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia after it was reported that he was sleeping in the hallway of the Days Inn. Police found that Vance had a warrant out of the Lebanon County Sheriff’s Office.
Incapable of Safe Driving, DUI – On Feb. 10, police charged Edward Osborne Jr., 55, with incapable of safe driving, DUI-highest rate, and accident involving damage to attended vehicle or property after a crash on the 200 block of Lehman Street.
Access Device Fraud, Financial Exploitation of an Older Adult or Care-Dependent Person – On Feb. 6, police charged Kelly Weise, 56, with access device fraud and financial exploitation of an older adult or care-dependent person after using the victim’s debit card, knowing that she was not authorized to use the card, on 12 dates between Nov. 7, 2022, and Jan. 11. The victim is an older adult or care-dependent person.
Public Drunkenness – On March 29, police charged a 64-year-old man after he appeared in a public place on the 200 block of North 12th Street manifestly under the influence of alcohol to the degree that he may endanger himself.
Public Drunkenness – On March 28, police charged a 21-year-old man with public drunkenness after he appeared in a public place on Arnold and Hornet streets manifestly under the influence of alcohol to the degree that he may endanger himself.
Purchase/Consumption/Possession/Transportation of Malt or Brewed Beverages – On March 27, police charged a 40-year-old man with a Lebanon city ordinance violation of the purchase/consumption/possession/transportation of malt or brewed beverages after he possessed and/or consumed alcohol in a city park on the 300 block of South 11th Street.
Heidelberg Township
Vehicle Accident – At 7:06 p.m. April 3, a 2006 Harley-Davidson Softail driven by a 50-year-old Salunga man was traveling north on SR 501. The man attempted to negotiate a right curve and exited the left side of the road, striking a fence and ending up in a grass pasture. He was wearing a motorcycle helmet and reported no injuries but left the scene in order to come back and retrieve the Harley-Davidson without notifying police. The Harley-Davidson sustained disabling damage. The owner of the field and fence was notified. RJ Sells Towing assisted on the scene. Police charged the man with duty to give information and render aid.
Jonestown Borough
Missing Person – Anthony Feliciano, 14, of Jonestown, was last seen at approximately 2 p.m. April 7 on the 300 block of North Lancaster Street, Jonestown. Anyone with information pertaining to his whereabouts is asked to contact PSP Jonestown at 717-865-2194.
Palmyra Borough
Simple Assault, Harassment – At 3:55 p.m. March 29, police responded to the 100 block of North Chestnut Street for an active domestic. Police took Jordan Moyer, 33, into custody for simple assault and harassment and transported Moyer to LCCB to await arraignment.
Public Drunkenness – At 12:22 p.m. March 25, police responded to the 200 block of North Railroad Street for an intoxicated subject. Police said a 34-year-old woman was visibly under the influence of a controlled substance to the degree that she caused public alarm and was a danger to herself. Police charged her with a non-traffic citation of public drunkenness. The charges were filed through MDJ Garver’s office.
South Lebanon Township
DUI – At approximately 9:50 p.m. Feb. 25, police responded to a crash at South 5th Avenue and East Evergreen Road. Police learned that Juan Flores, 24, had smoked marijuana prior to operating the vehicle. Upon receipt of Flores’s toxicology report, police charged him with driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance.
Unsworn Falsification to Authorities – Police investigated an attempt to illegally purchase firearms in 2021 after learning that Kevin Clark, 37, had attempted to illegally buy a gun at Shyda’s Outdoor Center in Lebanon. Police charged Clark with unsworn falsification to authorities.
Simple Assault – At approximately 5:23 a.m. April 4, police responded to the 600 block of South 4th Street for a domestic dispute. Police learned that Anthony Nuss, 50, had physically assaulted a female during the dispute. Police arrested Nuss and charged him with simple assault (domestic violence-related).
South Londonderry Township
Vehicle Accident, Driving Vehicle at Safe Speeds, Providing False Reports to Police – At 11:27 a.m. March 28, a three-vehicle crash occurred on the 2800 block of Horseshoe Pike when a Jeep Liberty driven by a 20-year-old Lebanon woman rear-ended a Jeep Wrangler driven by a 59-year-old Cornwall, man and then a Ford Focus driven by a 26-year-old Lititz man. The Liberty was towed from the scene. No injuries were reported. Campbelltown Fire and fire police assisted on the scene. Police charged the Lebanon woman with driving vehicle at safe speeds. The Lititz man reported to police that he was the passenger of the Ford but, after reviewing security camera footage, police discovered that the Lititz man was the driver and charged him with providing false reports to police and driving on a DUI-suspended license.
Vehicle Accident, Following Too Closely – At 8:01 a.m. March 28, a Nissan Murano driven by an 18-year-old Palmyra man collided with a Land Rover Discovery driven by a 51-year-old Annville woman on the 2800 block of Horseshoe Pike. No injuries were reported. Both vehicles were driven from the scene.
Hit-and-Run Crash – At 3:18 p.m. March 27, police responded to the 2800 block of Horseshoe Pike where a gray Chevy Suburban was rear-ended by a black Jeep Wrangler in the west lane. No injuries were reported, but the Jeep left the scene, heading south on Lynmar Avenue. Anyone with any information about this accident is asked to contact South Londonderry Township police at 717-838-1376.
Drug Possession – At 4:06 a.m. Oct. 31, police charged Thomas Cowland III, 44, of Palmyra, with possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia after a disabled vehicle call on routes 322 and 117 on Oct. 31. Cowland was in possession of several pills that bore the markings of oxycodone hydrochloride. Lab results showed the pills were counterfeit oxycodone and consisted of a combination of fentanyl, fluorofentanyl, and pentobarbital disguised to look like oxycodone.
Union Township
Firearm Found or Surrendered – At 9:10 a.m. March 12, police met with a complainant in the PSP Jonestown station lobby who found a firearm on the side of SR 22.
