Mount Gretna’s famous ice cream spot, the Jigger Shop, opens for the season on Saturday, May 13.
Until Memorial Day, the Jigger Shop (202 Gettysburg Ave, Mt Gretna) will be open from noon to 9 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays only. The Jigger Shop will also be open Memorial Day (May 29) from noon to 9 p.m.
After Memorial Day, the Jigger Shop’s hours shift to Tuesday-Sunday, noon to 9 p.m.

The Jigger Shop has been a Mount Gretna tradition since 1895. The restaurant and ice cream parlor was purchased by Kyle Seyfert and his family from longtime owner Chuck Allwein in May 2018.
