The ninth annual Spinstock Flow Arts Festival is set to take place at Coleman Memorial Park on Saturday, June 10.
Organizers credited grants from The Foundation for Enhancing Communities and the Lebanon County Commissioners for helping make this year’s event the biggest and most dynamic Spinstock festival to date.
Starting at noon, the festival will feature flow art performances ranging from hula hoop and taekwondo to kung fu and contact juggling. Performers hail from throughout the Mid-Atlantic region, and a complimentary beginner workshop will follow each performance.
Throughout the day, DJ Chord & Friends will deliver a soundtrack of electronic dance music, providing an opportunity for free flow and spinning. Additionally, N.I.C.K. Services will offer super bubbles and flow prop loaners at no cost to all attendees.
PapaTater Magic will perform a series of magic shows, with beginner magician lessons offered after each show. Art activities, carnival games, face painting, and glitter tattoos will also be on tap for kids of all ages.
The festival will include a vendor marketplace of nearly 60 booths offering a variety of goods, from flow props and jewelry to fine art and vintage items.
The day will conclude with an LED showcase highlighting all performers in a visual spectacle.
Local food trucks Island Thyme Grill and Poncho’s Backyard Grubbin’ will be present, as will Crazy Goat Coffee Company with coffee and more. Snowy Hawaiian Shaved Ice and Wertz Candies will provide dessert options.
The free Spinstock Flow Arts Festival will take place from noon to 9 p.m. on Saturday, June 10, at Coleman Memorial Park, at 1400 W. Maple St. For more information and a complete schedule of performances, visit www.spinstock.org.
