The Social Security office in Lebanon is moving to a new location.

Beginning Monday, June 12, the office will operate from 600 Isabel Drive, Suite 1. This transition marks the end of the office’s tenure at 924 Russell Drive, with operations at this address ceasing at noon on Friday, June 9.

The office’s operating hours remain from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Despite the move, Social Security services will continue to be widely accessible online. By visiting www.socialsecurity.gov or calling 1-800-772-1213 (toll-free), the public can utilize most Social Security services without needing to visit an office in person. Social Security’s TTY number, 1-800-325-0778, is available for those who are deaf or hard of hearing.

The agency urges customers to schedule appointments in advance to avoid delays and extended waits. Particularly busy periods typically include early morning, the start of the week, and the beginning of the month.

A personalized online service, the my Social Security account, can be set up at www.socialsecurity.gov/myaccount. Current beneficiaries can utilize this service to start or change direct deposit online, request a replacement SSA-1099, or print or download a current Benefit Verification Letter. Those not yet receiving benefits can access a personalized Social Security Statement with earnings information and future benefits estimates. The portal also offers a retirement calculator and links to other online services.
