The Historic Preservation Trust of Lebanon County will hold its annual garden tour on Saturday, July 8, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the southern Lebanon area.
The tour will feature eight gardens, which can be visited by tour participants in any order. Participants will be responsible for arranging their own transportation between sites, with addresses to be provided upon purchase of a $15 ticket.
Tickets can be purchased in advance at Wertz Candies, at 718 Cumberland St., Lebanon, and Layser’s Flowers, at 501 W. Washington Ave., Myerstown.
On the day of the tour, tickets can be purchased at Wertz Candies, as well as at 612 Rexmont Road or 1073 Alden Way, both in Lebanon. Apple dumplings will be available for sale at 612 Rexmont Road for $5 each.
Proceeds from the event go directly towards the maintenance of the historic sites owned by the trust throughout the county – the Chestnut Street Log House, Light’s Fort, and Monroe Valley Chapel.
