Route 419 (Schaeffer Road) just west of Distillery Road in Heidelberg Township is now open to traffic, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.

The road was closed in April for a box culvert replacement project, causing a detour that has now been lifted.

Dillsburg-based Lobar Site Development Corp. was the prime contractor for the $812,449 project.
