Annville Township

Vehicle Accident – At 9:17 a.m. June 28, this crash occurred as a 2019 Chevrolet Silverado driven by a 36-year-old Harrisburg man (assigned to the PSP Bureau of LCE) was traveling north on Fisher Avenue (SR 934) near Heisey Road. A deer entered the north lane, and the Chevrolet struck the deer with its front bumper, causing no apparent damage to the Chevrolet. The man was wearing a seatbelt, and no injuries were reported.

Bethel Township

Indecent Assault – At 10 p.m. July 20, police responded to Blue Mountain View Drive. During the investigation, police determined that the suspect provided the victim with alcohol and touched the victim’s chest under their shirt. The victim was an 18-year-old Fredericksburg female. Police are investigating.

DUI – At 1:07 p.m. July 4, police responded to the 2900 block of SR 22. During the investigation, police determined that Lily Degagne, 20, of North Chesterfield, VA, was driving a 2012 Honda Accord CrossTour while under the influence of alcohol and/or a controlled substance.

Burglary Commercial Force – Sometime between June 23 and June 26, an unknown actor(s) entered the Maple Press commercial building in Fredericksburg through an unarmed/unlocked door. Once inside the building, the actor(s) damaged two vending machines, valued at $4,000 each, and a change machine, valued at $1,000, and emptied the machines’ contents. The actor(s) then left the scene. There were no cameras on the property other than a trail camera, valued at $100, which was taken.

Vehicle Accident, Stop Signs And Yield Signs – At 4:40 p.m. July 5, this two-vehicle crash occurred on Airport Road at its intersection with School Drive. A 2018 Ford F-150XLT driven by a 53-year-old Ashland man was stopped at the stop sign while traveling south on School Drive. A 2014 Ram 1500 driven by a 34-year-old Jonestown man was traveling west on Airport Road. The Ford then pulled out from the stop sign on School Drive and struck the Ram. Both vehicles sustained disabling damage. The Ashland man and the Jonestown man were wearing seatbelts and reported no injuries. Joe May’s Towing also assisted on the scene. Police charged the Ashland man with stop signs and yield signs.

Vehicle Accident – At approximately 5:28 p.m. July 6, this crash occurred at the intersection of East Main Street and North Pine Grove Street. A 2014 Ford F-150XLT was stopped at the stop sign on North Pine Grove Street, facing south, at the intersection with East Main Street. A 2020 Nissan Rogue was traveling east on East Main Street and turned left (north) onto North Pine Grove Street. The Nissan struck the front end of the Ford during the turning movement, causing damage to both vehicles. Both vehicles were able to be driven from the scene. No injuries were reported.

City of Lebanon

Drug Possession – At 3:13 a.m. July 20, police pulled over a vehicle on North 12th Street and West Cumberland Street. During the course of the traffic stop, police detected criminal activity. Police served a search warrant on the vehicle and located drugs and drug paraphernalia. Police are investigating.

DUI – At 3:50 p.m. July 2, police pulled over a 2016 Toyota Corolla on the 800 block of Lehman Street and determined that the driver, April Montenegro, 31, of Lebanon, was driving while under the influence of a controlled substance.

DUI – On July 2, police pulled over a 2009 Acura TSX on Walnut Street and South 8th Street and determined that the driver, Thomas Turner, 19, of Lebanon, was driving while under the influence of alcohol and/or a controlled substance. Police are investigating.

DUI, Drug Possession, Driving On Right Side Of Roadway – On March 29, police charged Jairo Zuleta, 31, with DUI-controlled substance schedule two or three, DUI-controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and driving on right side of roadway. The charges stem from a report that he was driving erratic and almost collided with another vehicle. The officer then observed Zuleta enter the left side of the road and stop for an unknown reason. The officer then conducted a traffic stop.

Training Hand Grenade Found – On July 27, a Lebanon City resident contacted the Lebanon City Police Department. The resident turned over to police a training-type hand grenade that had been modified into an improvised explosive device. The resident reported that on July 26, he found the device while walking in Coleman Memorial Park. The resident and police returned to the location where the device was found. Police searched the area and were unable to locate additional devices or any other evidence. The Lebanon City Police Department contacted the Pennsylvania State Police Bomb Squad. They responded and took possession of the device for later disposal. The Lebanon City Police Department believes because of the device type, condition, and where it was located, that it was most likely discarded and not placed in a targeted location. The Lebanon City Police Department believes this is an isolated incident, and there is no danger to the public. They are informing the public of the incident to educate them on suspicious devices and the proper action to take. Please do not touch or disturb any suspicious items or devices they may encounter. Public Drunkenness – Police charged a 62-year-old woman with public drunkenness at 2:51 a.m. July 1 on the 700 block of Chestnut Street.

Fireworks Prohibited – Police charged an 18-year-old man with fireworks prohibited at 9:09 p.m. July 5 on the 400 block of North 1st Street.

Consumption, Possession Of Liquor Or Malt Or Brewed Beverage – Police charged a 17-year-old female with consumption, possession of liquor or malt or brewed beverage at 7:53 p.m. July 6 on the 500 block of Oak Street.

Consumption, Possession Of Liquor Or Malt Or Brewed Beverage – Police charged a 17-year-old female with consumption, possession of liquor or malt or brewed beverage at 12:01 a.m. July 7 on the 300 block of North 12th Street.

Prohibited Open Burning – Police charged a 47-year-old womanwith prohibited open burning at 9:40 a.m. July 9 on the 300 block of North 11th Street.

Drug Possession – Police charged a 27-year-old man with possession of drug paraphernalia at 11:35 a.m. July 10 near 6th Street and Lehman Street.

Drug Possession – Police charged a 23-year-old man with possession of drug paraphernalia at 3:10 p.m. July 15 on the 00 block of South 10th Street.

Harassment – Police charged a 27-year-old man with harassment at 12:04 a.m. July 15 on the 400 block of North Partridge Street.

East Hanover Township

Vehicle Accident – At 6:38 p.m. July 21, this crash occurred on North SR 934 at its intersection with Jonestown Road. This crash involved a vehicle driven by a 32-year-old Manheim man, a vehicle driven by a 17-year-old Pennsburg male, and a vehicle driven by a 70-year-old Lebanon man. All drivers were wearing seatbelts and reported no injuries.

Harassment – At 2:30 a.m. June 25, police responded to Jonestown Road for an assault. The victim was a 27-year-old Annville man. The investigation is ongoing.

Heidelberg Township

Vehicle Accident, Driving On Roadways Laned For Traffic – At 3:16 p.m. July 3, police responded to the 2500 block of South 5th Street for a single-vehicle crash. A 2021 Honda CRV driven by a 75-year-old Lebanon man, accompanied by a 73-year-old Lebanon woman, was traveling west on South 5th Street when the man fell asleep, and the Honda exited the road on the right shoulder. The Honda struck a brick church sign on the right shoulder. Both were wearing seatbelts, and no injuries were reported. Police charged the man with driving on roadways laned for traffic. CJ Wagner’s Towing also assisted on the scene.

Jackson Township

Vehicle Accident – At 10:18 a.m. July 10, this crash occurred in the parking lot of Dutch-Way Markets, at 649 E. Lincoln Ave. A 2011 Toyota Tacoma was backing from a parking stall. A 2009 Chevrolet Malibu was driving through the traffic way. The Toyota backed into the driver’s side of the Chevrolet. The Toyota sustained minor damage to its rear. The Chevrolet sustained minor damage to its driver’s side mirror and door. Both vehicles were able to leave the scene under their own power by their respective drivers. No injuries were reported. A form was provided to both drivers on the scene.

Jonestown Borough

Vehicle Accident, Accidents Involving Damage To Unattended Vehicle Or Property – At 1:17 p.m. July 3, this crash occurred in the parking lot of Pizza Town, at 171 E. Market St. A 2019 Kia Sportage driven by a 79-year-old Fredericksburg man, accompanied by an 80-year-old Fredericksburg woman, backed into the rear of a 2017 Buick Lacrosse, which was legally parked and unoccupied in the parking lot. The Kia sustained no apparent damage. The Buick sustained minor damage to its rear bumper. The man failed to notify the Buick’s owner and was identified and located at a later date. Both were wearing seatbelts, and no injuries were reported. Police charged the man with accidents involving damage to unattended vehicle or property.

Vehicle Accident, Overtaking Vehicle On Right – At 3:55 p.m. July 12, this two-vehicle crash occurred on West Market Street at South Lancaster Street. A 2002 Ford Explorer (a constable transporting a prisoner) was overtaking vehicles on the right, outside of the designated lanes, while traffic was stopped on West Market Street. A 2019 Toyota Highlander began to make a right turn onto South Lancaster Street and struck the front left side of the Ford with its front bumper. Both vehicles pulled onto the shoulder and awaited police. Lebanon County Fire and EMS also responded. No injuries were reported. The Toyota was drivable but was towed at the owner’s request by Leffler’s Towing. Police charged the driver of the Ford with overtaking vehicle on right.

Burglary Residential No Force – At 12 a.m. June 17, this incident occurred on the 00 block of East Market Street as the victim reported that an unknown actor(s) entered his residence and removed items. The victim was a 47-year-old Jonestown man.

Vehicle Accident – At 7:44 p.m. June 24, this non-reportable two-vehicle crash occurred in the parking lot of Pizza Town, at 171 E. Market St. A 2016 Chevrolet Trax was legally parked in the parking lot. The Chevrolet was struck by a 2002 Mazda Tribute on its front passenger’s side as the Mazda was reversing out of its parking space. The Mazda sustained no damage. The Chevrolet sustained minor damage to its front passenger’s side. Both vehicles were able to be driven from the scene. No injuries were reported. A Non-Reportable Driver’s Exchange was provided to both drivers on the scene.

Millcreek Township

PFA Violation – At approximately 7:07 p.m. June 26, police responded to the 200 block of Village Drive for a PFA violation involving the victim, a 55-year-old Newmanstown woman, and the arrestee, Anthony Lubin, 61, of Mechanicsburg. Police determined that the PFA order specifically states there is to be no contact between them. However, Lubin left three voicemails on June 21, June 22, and June 25, on the victim’s phone.

Myerstown Borough

Harassment – At 9:30 p.m. July 23, police responded to Garloff Alley for a domestic incident. Police charged the victims/arrestees, a 38-year-old Myerstown man and a 30-year-old Bethel woman, with harassment.

Vehicle Accident, Driving On Roadways Laned For Traffic – At 4:24 p.m. July 14, this two-vehicle crash occurred on SR 422 East. A 2006 Ford Fusion was merging from the right lane to the left lane. The Ford Fusion was merging because the right lane was discontinuing to a single-lane road. The Ford Fusion merged unsafely, hitting the passenger’s side of a 2010 Ford Ranger with its driver’s side. Both vehicles were drivable and were able to leave the scene under their own power. No injuries were reported. Police charged the driver of the Ford Fusion with driving on roadways laned for traffic.

Criminal Mischief Under $1,000 – At 4:22 p.m. June 30, police responded to the 100 block of West Main Avenue for a report of criminal mischief. It was reported that an unknown actor(s) gained access to an unlocked 2010 Hyundai Elantra. While inside the vehicle, the actor(s) caused approximately $80 worth of damage to the plastic on the steering column. No items were reported missing. The last time the victim saw her vehicle undamaged was on June 16, and she discovered the damage on June 30. The victim was a 35-year-old Lebanon woman. Harassment – At 4:49 p.m. June 27, this incident occurred on West Lincoln Avenue as the arrestee repeatedly texted and sent messages via Snapchat and Facebook to the victim after being told to stop. The arrestee used several different numbers. The victim knew the arrestee through previous employment. The victim positively identified the arrestee through his PennDOT photo. Police filed a harassment-no legitimate purpose citation against the arrestee. The victim blocked the arrestee on all accounts and maintained screenshots of the interactions. Police provided the victim with a Victim Witness guide. The arrestee was a 22-year-old Reading man. The victim was a 19-year-old Myerstown woman.

Theft Of Motor Vehicle – On June 24, police responded to the 400 block of South Railroad Street for a vehicle that was stolen. The vehicle was later recovered. The vehicle was a silver/aluminum 2011 Hyundai Sonata. The victim was a 30-year-old Myerstown man. The investigation is ongoing.

North Lebanon Township

Warrant, Disorderly Conduct – On July 15, police pulled over a vehicle and determined that the driver, Miranda Cole, had an active warrant out of Lebanon County, and charged the passenger, Zachary Emerich, of Lebanon, with disorderly conduct due to his behavior during the traffic stop.

Retail Theft – On July 3, police received a report of two individuals not paying for items at Walmart. Police determined that the father and son duo, George Dechert, 57, and Skyler Dechert, 19, concealed items in a backpack and under-rang items at the self-checkout. Police charged George and Skyler Dechert with two counts of retail theft.

Drug Possession – On July 17, police pulled over a vehicle and charged the passenger, Daniel Gonzalez, 18, of Lebanon, with possession of marijuana and possession of drug (marijuana) paraphernalia.

Trespassing, Theft – At 3:32 a.m. July 17, police received a call of a suspicious person lurking around the Salvation Army Store. Police arrived on the scene and found Adam Yoder, 42, of Schuylkill Haven, trespassing at the store and taking items from the drop-off donation bin, totaling over $1,200. Police charged Yoder with trespassing and theft.

False Reports To Law Enforcement – Police responded to a domestic assault on April 27. During the investigation, police determined that the complainant, Elayzia Aponte, provided a false police report involving a physical assault. Police charged Aponte with false reports to law enforcement.

Palmyra Borough

Public Drunkenness – At approximately 8:45 p.m. July 15, while on foot patrol, police encountered a subject under the Grant Street Bridge on the 300 block of North Grant Street. Police identified the subject as a 51-year-old man and determined he was manifestly under the influence of alcohol. Police transported him back to his residence. On July 17, a non-traffic citation was filed through MDJ Garver’s office, charging him with one count of public drunkenness.

Public Intoxication – At 12:52 a.m. July 16, police responded to Sheetz, at 811 E. Main St., for a disturbance. When police arrived on the scene, they were directed to a 47-year-old man who was the source of the disturbance. The man was visibly intoxicated and was said to have used profanity toward staff members at Sheetz because he was upset about the wait time for his food. Police charged him with one count of public intoxication and filed it through MDJ Garver’s office.

Altered, Forged, Or Counterfeit Documents, Traffic Violations – At 1:25 p.m. June 28, police pulled over a vehicle on the 900 block of East Main Street for traffic violations. Police identified the driver as Juan Alicea-Rojas, 36. During the stop, Alicea-Rojas presented a driver’s license that was determined to be fraudulent. On July 5, charges were filed against Alicea-Rojas for altered, forged, or counterfeit documents and two summary traffic violations.

Bench Warrant – On July 24, police pulled over a vehicle on the 300 block of North Railroad Street. Police identified the driver as Matthew Via, 38. Via was determined to have a bench warrant out of Lebanon County for failure to appear, with the original charges being theft of services and theft of leased property. Police placed Via under arrest for the warrant and transported him to LCCB.

Found Dog – At approximately 4:55 p.m. July 27, a citizen found a dog running loose on the 400 block of North Railroad Street. The dog is very friendly and has a collar but no identification. The dog was scanned for a microchip but did not have one. The dog was transported to the Lebanon County Humane Society. Do you know the owner? South Annville Township

Vehicle Accident – At 5:52 p.m. July 9, this crash occurred on Mount Wilson Road, north of McCurdy Lane. A 2014 Chevrolet Suburban driven by a 35-year-old Clarksville woman, accompanied by a 18-year-old Elizabethtown woman, an 11-year-old Clarksville man, a 9-year-old Clarksville male, a 14-year-old Clarksville male, and a 16-year-old Elizabethtown female was traveling north on Mount Wilson Road when a blue Dodge pickup truck, traveling south, crossed into the Chevrolet’s lane. The Chevrolet then swerved and hit an embankment, sustaining disabling damage. The Dodge continued traveling south. All of the Chevrolet’s occupants were wearing seatbelts. All occupants reported no injuries except for the 35-year-old Clarksville woman, who sustained a possible injury, was evaluated by EMS, and refused transport. Annville Fire Department, First Aid and Safety Patrol of Lebanon, and Zimmey’s Towing also assisted on the scene.

Vehicle Accident, Driving Vehicle At Safe Speed – At 6:02 p.m. July 2, this crash occurred on Horseshoe Pike at its intersection with South White Oak Road. This crash occurred during daylight with wet roads from recent rain. A 2003 Hyundai Elantra was traveling west on Horseshoe Pike. A 2022 Volkswagen Taos had been stopped behind other vehicles at the red signal at the intersection with South White Oak Road and was beginning to resume traveling west as the signal had turned green. The Hyundai’s driver attempted to stop in the road behind the Volkswagen, but the Hyundai began to slip on the wet roads, and he was unable to stop or steer to avoid the Volkswagen. The 11 o’clock position of the Hyundai struck the 5 o’clock position of the Volkswagen, causing minor damage to both vehicles. Both vehicles were able to be driven from the scene. The Hyundai’s driver reported minor back pain but refused transport. Police charged the Hyundai’s driver with driving vehicle at safe speed.

South Lebanon Township

Conspiracy To Commit Crime – At 2 p.m. March 30, this incident occurred as police received a request to investigate the possibility of an inmate attempting to introduce contraband inside LCCF, at 730 E. Walnut St. The investigation is ongoing.

Drug Possession – At approximately 2:30 p.m. July 10, police served a search warrant at a residence on the 200 block of South 6th Avenue. During the search, police found one of the residence’s occupants, Melissa Houck, 52, to be in possession of drug paraphernalia. Police charged Houck with possession of drug paraphernalia.

Driving While DUI Suspended – At approximately 12:41 p.m. July 17, police responded to the intersection of King Street and Prescott Road for a crash. During the investigation, police learned that one of the involved drivers, Amanda Moyer, 36, was operating with a DUI-suspended driver’s license. Police charged Moyer with one count of driving while operating privilege is suspended or revoked (DUI-related, third or subsequent violation).

Illegally Operating Without Ignition Interlock, Driving Unregistered Vehicle – At approximately 7:23 p.m. July 21, police pulled over a vehicle on the 500 block of East Cumberland Street. During the investigation, police learned that the driver, a 57-year-old woman, was only permitted to drive vehicles equipped with an ignition interlock system. The vehicle she was driving was not equipped with one. Police charged her with illegally operating a motor vehicle not equipped with ignition interlock, registration and certificate of title required, and operating a vehicle without valid inspection.

DUI, Turning Movements And Required Signals, Duties At Stop Signs – At approximately 10:27 p.m. July 4, police pulled over a vehicle on Jayann Drive. During the investigation, police determined that the driver, Trista Bortz, 46, displayed alcohol-related signs of impairment. Standardized Field Sobriety Tests were conducted, resulting in Bortz being placed under arrest. On July 19, police received the legal blood test results. Bortz’s BAC was .248% at the time of the incident. Police charged Bortz with DUI-incapable of safe driving, DUI-highest rate of alcohol .16% or higher, turning movements and required signals, duties at stop signs, and restrictions on alcoholic beverages “open containers.”

DUI, Operating Vehicle Without Valid Inspection – At approximately 5:03 p.m. July 3, police pulled over a vehicle on East Cumberland Street. During the investigation, police determined that the driver, Kyle Hoyer, 28, displayed alcohol-related signs of impairment. Standardized Field Sobriety Tests were conducted, resulting in Hoyer being placed under arrest. On July 19, police received the legal blood test results. Hoyer’s BAC was .275% at the time of the incident. Police charged Hoyer with DUI-incapable of safe driving, DUI-highest rate of alcohol .16% or higher, and operating a vehicle without valid inspection.

Drug Possession – At approximately 3:20 a.m. July 25, police pulled over a vehicle at the intersection of South Lincoln Avenue and Poplar Street. During the investigation, police learned that the driver, Deion Hess, 27, was in possession of illegal narcotics and drug paraphernalia. Police charged Hess with possession of a small amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Sale Or Transfer Of Firearms, Unsworn Falsification To Authorities – The South Lebanon Township Police Department holds an arrest warrant for Cody Kissinger, 23. In March, Kissinger attempted to purchase a firearm at Shydas Outdoor Center, at 1635 S. Lincoln Ave., while being prohibited from doing so. The original charges against Kissinger were one count of sale or transfer of firearms and one count of unsworn falsification to authorities.

Disorderly Conduct, Criminal Mischief – The individuals pictured below are wanted in relation to disorderly conduct and criminal mischief at South Hills Park on June 29. Anyone that recognizes these individuals is asked to contact the South Lebanon Township Police Department.

South Londonderry Township

Vehicle Accident, Stop Sign Violation, Expired Registration, Expired Inspection – At 6:19 p.m. July 8, police responded to the intersection of Northside Drive and Farmshed Road for a crash with a reported injury. A vehicle driven by a 29-year-old Harrisburg man failed to yield the right-of-way when emerging from a stop sign on Farmshed Road to cross Northside Drive into Redner’s. A vehicle driven by a 45-year-old Palmyra driver was traveling east and was struck by Ortiz’s vehicle. Both vehicles needed to be towed from the scene. The Palmyra driver was transported via EMS to a local hospital for a non-life-threatening injury. Police charged the Harrisburg man with a stop sign violation, expired registration, and expired inspection.

Vehicle Accident – At 12:26 p.m. July 10, police responded to Horseshoe Pike and West Market Street for a crash. A vehicle driven by a 65-year-old Palmyra man failed to yield the right-of-way when emerging from a parking lot and struck a vehicle driven by a 74-year-old Palmyra man who was traveling east on Horseshoe Pike. Both vehicles needed to be towed from the scene. No injuries were reported.

Swatara Township

Checkpoint DUI – At 11:13 p.m. June 24, police contacted the arrestee, Kristi Houtz, 51, of Jonestown, during a sobriety checkpoint on SR 72 North and Horst Drive and determined that she was driving a 2020 GMC while under the influence of alcohol.

Vehicle Accident – At 6:46 p.m. July 1, this single-vehicle crash occurred as a 2016 Hyundai Elantra was traveling south on North Lancaster Street, south of its intersection with Lickdale Road. The Hyundai exited the road on the right shoulder, striking an embankment at its 2 o’clock position. This was the Hyundai’s point of initial impact. The Hyundai sustained functional damage to its passenger’s side quarter panel and passenger’s side mirror. The Hyundai was able to be driven from the scene under its own power back to the Hyundai’s driver’s residence, where the crash was reported. The Hyundai’s driver did not require medical attention. A PA Non-Reportable Driver’s Exchange Report was provided to the Hyundai’s driver.

DUI – At 8:55 p.m. June 24, police pulled over a vehicle on SR 22 and Wenger Lane. During the investigation, police determined that the driver was driving while under the influence of alcohol and/or a controlled substance. The arrestee was Moises Morales Santiago, 28, of Lebanon. The vehicles involved included a 2016 Jeep. Police are investigating.

Theft – At 2:51 p.m. July 27, police are investigating a theft on the 100 block of Lighthouse Drive. The victim was an 18-year-old Jonestown woman. The stolen property included $1,300 sent via Bitcoin.

Union Township

DUI Crash – At 12:33 a.m. July 22, police responded to Silvertown Road for a crash. The crash is pending investigation related to driving while under the influence of alcohol and/or a controlled substance. The victim was a 52-year-old Hampstead, MD man. The vehicles involved included a 2014 Ram 1500 and a 2003 Hyundai Tiburon.

DUI – At 1:45 p.m. July 14, police pulled over a 2005 Ford Mustang on Suedberg Road. During the investigation, police determined that the driver, Jeremy Strohecker, 41, of Klingerstown, was driving while under the influence of alcohol and/or a controlled substance. Police are investigating.

Drug Possession – At 10:13 p.m. June 24, police responded to the 2900 block of SR 72 for a female subject sleeping on the victim’s property. Police found the arrestee, Karen Davis, 57, of Jonestown, to be in possession of controlled substances.

Harassment – At 1:30 a.m. April 4, police received a ChildLine report of suspected child abuse. It was reported that a parent caused an injury to their 16-year-old Jonestown female child’s lip on the 200 block of Awol Road.

Vehicle Accident – At 8:09 p.m. June 29, this crash occurred in the parking lot of Love’s Truck Stop, at 22 Old Forge Road. A 2023 Volvo attempted to negotiate a right turn. The driver of the Volvo under-compensated the turn, side-swiping a 2020 International Truck & Engine. Both vehicles were able to be driven from the scene under their own power. No injuries were reported.

Vehicle Accident – At 6:16 p.m. June 27, this alleged crash occurred in the parking lot of Love’s Truck Stop, at 22 Old Forge Road. A 2005 Freightliner Century Class was parked to the right of a 2017 Volvo D13 within marked parking spaces. As the Freightliner was exiting the parking space, it was reported that contact was made from the vehicle with the passenger’s side mirror of the Volvo, causing damage. No apparent damage related to the crash was observed on the Freightliner or its attached trailing unit. Damage was observed on the Volvo’s side mirror.

According to the driver of the Freightliner, he was exiting the parking space, and there was no contact with the Volvo, but he stopped after another driver honked. The driver of the Freightliner said that the driver of the Volvo approached him, advising of the damage, and allegedly said that $50 would cover the damage and then asked for $700. The driver of the Freightliner said that he saw the driver of the Volvo tear off the black zip ties from the side mirror and kick them under the truck. The driver of the Freightliner said that he was within the sleeper berth and did not observe the crash occur. A witness said that he did not actually see contact between the vehicles but had observed the Freightliner back up multiple times to exit the parking space. The witness said that he saw the cab rock, which led him to believe that there was contact between the vehicles. Another witness approached the police while they were working on the report and said that he observed the Freightliner exiting the parking space, and there was no contact between the vehicles. Identifying information was unable to be obtained as the witness walked away.

Vehicle Accident, Driving On Roadways Laned For Traffic – At 10:28 p.m. June 26, this crash occurred as a 1999 Kenworth Truck Tractor was pulling out of Joe May’s parking lot onto SR 72 North, its trailer side-swiped a 2006 Chrysler Sebring and a 2004 Honda Civic rear. The Chrysler sustained minor damage to its rear. The Honda sustained minor damage to its rear. A Notice of Crash investigation was issued to the owner of Joe May’s, Michael Marks. Police charged the driver of the Kenworth with driving on roadways laned for traffic.

Vehicle Accident, Driving Vehicle At Safe Speed – At 5:20 a.m. July 5, this crash occurred on Allentown Boulevard at its intersection with Yingst Drive. A 2012 Hyundai Elantra driven by a 19-year-old Lebanon woman was traveling east on Allentown Boulevard. The woman attempted to turn right onto Yingst Drive at a high rate of speed and lost control of the Hyundai. The Hyundai then struck a guide rail on the east shoulder of Yingst Drive with its driver’s side and came to final rest. The Hyundai sustained damage to its front bumper, hood, driver’s side fender, and driver’s side doors. The Hyundai was towed from the scene by Porrinni’s Towing. The woman was wearing a seatbelt, and no injuries were reported. Police charged her with driving vehicle at safe speed.

Vehicle Accident – At 6:37 a.m. July 8, this non-reportable crash occurred in the parking lot of Love’s Truck Stop, at 22 Old Forge Road. A 2022 Freightliner Cascadia was attempting to drive around the parking lot. The Freightliner’s trailer struck the light pole, causing it to fall on a 2002 Dodge Ram 1500. The Dodge was legally parked in a parking stall. The Dodge’s driver moved the pole off the truck, and the Dodge was able to be driven from the scene. The Freightliner’s trailer sustained minor damage to its driver’s side. The Dodge sustained minor damage to its front windshield glass and its roof. No injuries were reported. A Non-Reportable Driver’s Exchange was provided to the Freightliner’s driver and the Dodge’s driver, as well as the Love’s Truck Stop manager on the scene.

Vehicle Accident – At 1:08 a.m. July 29, this crash occurred on the 10700 block of Allentown Boulevard. A 2005 Kia Optima was traveling east on Allentown Boulevard and struck a deer that ran into the road. The Kia sustained minor damage to its left side. No injuries were reported.
