Tim Ritchie, who was previously the General Sales Manager for WLBR AM 1270 and WFVY Froggy Valley 100.1, has been named Market Manager for the Seven Mountain Media stations in Lebanon.
Ritchie will now direct WLBR AM 1270 and WFVY Froggy Valley 100.1 FM, as well as their associated online platforms. Ritchie’s new role will involve overseeing all day-to-day operations of the two historic Lebanon radio stations, and serving as a conduit between the corporate management team and local sales and programming personnel.
Ritchie transitioned into broadcast sales in 2013 after a 20-year stint in automotive sales and management. He quickly rose to become sales manager of WLBR and WQIC (now WFVY), guiding the sales and programming teams through the shift from private to corporate ownership.
“As a lifelong Lebanon County resident, I know how important these radio stations have always been to my family and the community,” Ritchie said. “Now, with the new technologies, streaming capabilities and enhanced social media and internet sales opportunities available to us, the future is brimming with possibilities.”
“I am honored that Seven Mountains Media Owner and CEO Kristin Cantrell has selected me to lead the Lebanon market.”
Seven Mountains Media acquired their Lebanon stations from Forever Media in January. Cantrell recognized Ritchie’s efforts in helping establish the company’s culture and preserving the stations’ long-standing reputation with advertisers and listeners in the Lebanon area.
“Tim has genuinely helped us grow our Lebanon operation,” Cantrell said. “We knew that it was time to help him grow his role in our company. He’s a terrific guy and he will be a great Market Manager for Seven Mountains Media.”
Seven Mountains Media operates 58 live and local radio stations across Pennsylvania, New York, and Kentucky.
