The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) will be conducting inspections on multiple bridges in Lebanon County this week, according to a press release from the agency.

Starting Monday, Aug. 7, the Route 72 bridge over Route 22 in Union Township will undergo inspection, causing alternating lane restrictions in both directions on Route 22.

On the following day, Tuesday, Aug. 8, officials will inspect the Route 322 bridge over Route 72 South in West Cornwall Township. Drivers should anticipate alternating left and right shoulder closures on Route 72 South during this time.

Finally, on Wednesday, Aug. 9, the Route 322 bridge over Route 117 in Cornwall Borough will be inspected. Route 117 will face lane restrictions, with flaggers on-site to manage traffic flow.

All inspections are scheduled between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m., weather permitting. PennDOT urges motorists to remain vigilant and drive with caution in these work zones.
