LebTown features a different Lebanon County pet each Friday to help us enter the weekend with the best vibes possible.
The Pet of the Week sometimes features a local furbaby who already lives in a happy Lebanon County home. Other times the column spotlights an animal that’s available for adoption through a local shelter and is seeking a forever family.
This week, meet adoptable Ella!
Ella, according to Pitties.Love.Peace rep Mika Stiefel, is a 9-month-old female boxer mix.
She’s “sweet, but characteristically handsy,” Mika says. She’s also a “cuddle queen, (who) will share the couch but not the remote.”
She also enjoys carrying stuffies around in her mouth, and she “loves to zoom and wrestle with friends, so her ideal household has at least one other playful and tolerant dog to grow with and learn from,” Mika says. Ella is a “smart cookie who is food-motivated,” and she’s crate-trained and housebroken.
If you have a cat in the household, Ella is “kitty-friendly, but will engage so dog-savvy cats are best,” Mika adds. The rescue group is “looking for an active family committed to ongoing training and socialization to keep her on track to being her very best.”
If you think Ella could be a fit for your household, please visit www.pittieslovepeace.com to submit your online application.
