LebTown features a different Lebanon County pet each Friday to help us enter the weekend with the best vibes possible.
This week, meet Molly!
Molly is a cattle-jack — a mix of Australian cattle dog and Jack Russell terrier — owned by the Winters family. She turned 2 years old at the end of July, Ashley Winters says.
“She was brought to us from Ohio in early October 2021 in a luxurious Mercedes, which was only the start to her lavishly spoiled life,” Ashley says.
“While she enjoys digging holes, ripping our plants out of the ground by their roots, herding the humans and other outdoor creatures (rabbits, squirrels, ducks, birds, and chipmunks), she also looks forward to and enjoys eating bacon and scrambled eggs for breakfast on the weekends, going for long walks on the rail trail, playing with her endless amount of toys, stealing socks every chance she gets (thatโs the blue heeler โฆ I mean โblue stealerโ in her), burying said stolen socks deep in the couch cushions, shredding apart pillows, going for car rides with her head out the window, stealing vegetables from the garden in the summer, and sleeping in her own queen bed under the fan while the Dyson blows fresh purified air in her face,” she adds.
“She does put in work though when itโs time to plant new flowers. Sheโll gladly come dig a hole for you to plant!”
Molly loves making new friends, Ashley notes, so if you see her out on the trail, be sure to say “hi” and congratulate her for being LebTown’s Pet of the Week!
