The Lebanon County Suicide Prevention Task Force will host an inaugural “Suicide Prevention Walk” on Saturday, Sept. 9, beginning at the Stoever’s Dam Nature Barn, 946 Miller St, Lebanon, PA 17046. The walk will start at 10 a.m., with registration beginning at 9 a.m. There is no cost to participate in the walk. The event is one of numerous different events being held throughout Lebanon County during the month of September, which is nationally recognized as Suicide Prevention Month.
This is our first time hosting a “Suicide Prevention Walk” in Lebanon. The goal of the event is to raise awareness about suicide prevention, remember those we have lost to suicide, and walk in support with survivors, family, and friends. The event will begin at the Community Garden of Remembrance, which was dedicated in 2016 at the Nature Barn. The event will also include a wreath laying ceremony prior to the start of the walk. To have your loved one memorialized on a paver in the garden, please call 717-274-3415.

- QPR Training (Question, Persuade, Refer), which will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 12, from 4:30-7:30 p.m. at the Lebanon Senior Center. To register, please call 717-272-8317.
