LebTown features a different Lebanon County pet each Friday to help us enter the weekend with the best vibes possible.

The Pet of the Week sometimes features a local furbaby who already lives in a happy Lebanon County home. Other times the column spotlights an animal that’s available for adoption through a local shelter and is seeking a forever family.

This week, meet adoptable Enid!

Enid

Enid, according to Pitties.Love.Peace rep Mika Stiefel, is a 1-year-old female mastiff mix.

She’s “silly, playful, sweet” and “loves a good bone to chew or durable toy to play with,” Mika says. She’s timid with new people and new situations, but warms up quickly, and she’s “food-motivated and eager to learn.”

Enid is crate-trained, she adds, and she “enjoys other dogs, so her ideal household will have at least one confident and tolerant doggy sibling for her to play with and learn from.” However, Mika says, “her ideal home has no children under 12 and a strong female leader as she is more timid around men.”

Pitties.Love.Peace is looking for a patient household “committed to ongoing training and socialization to help her continue to be her very best.” If you think Enid could be a fit for your household, please visit www.pittieslovepeace.com to submit your online application.
