Penn State Health is hosting a free drive-through flu shot clinic at Lebanon High School to help community members get prepared for flu season.
The FLUSTOP event will take place on Saturday, Oct. 7, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 1000 S. 8th St., Lebanon.
The clinic is open to everyone aged 3 years and older, and no identification or insurance is required to receive a flu shot. Adults must be able to access the middle part of their arm to get vaccinated, so attendees are encouraged to wear loose-fitting clothes.
Though reservations are suggested, they are not required. Those planning to attend can register online to ensure their spot. Walk-ins are welcome on the day of the event, which will take place rain or shine.
In case of inclement weather, the clinic will be relocated to the high school’s atrium to continue providing free flu shots to the community.
Lebanon residents are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity to protect themselves and their families against the flu by getting vaccinated at the FLUSTOP event.
“Get the shot, not the flu,” as the organizers remind everyone.
